Enjoying
an
easy
drive
into
Southbank,
with
simplistic
directions
to
the
emporium
hotel
to
celebrate
ten
years
of
marriage,
pulling
up
to
the
hotel,
we
were
greeted
with
efficient
door
attendants
who
began
to
open
our
car
door
and
warmly
welcome
us
to
the
emporium.
Whilst
we
were
a
little
early
for
check-in,
we
left
our
luggage
in
the
lobby
and
travelled
up
in
the
most
eye-catching
elevator
all
the
way
to
level
21
to
enjoy
a
beautiful
lunch
located
on
‘the
terrace’.
We
were
greeted
by
a
very
attentive
manager
named
Reece
who
ensured
all
details
were
perfect
for
our
anniversary;
his
mannerism
was
exceptional,
as
was
his
great
personality;
Reece
ensured
we
received
the
best
service
whilst
we
continued
our
stay
over
that
weekend,
making
sure
staff
knew
our
names
and
that
they
continued
that
high
level
of
service.
Our
lunch
on
‘the
terrace’
was
ever
so
elegant
with
such
soft
and
graceful
sounding,
whilst
we
sat
by
the
window
taking
in
such
stunning
overviews
of
the
city
with
a
chilled
glass
of
wine
and
divine
cuisine
full
of
flavour,
taking
in
the
soundings
and
enjoying
all
the
elements.
Once
our
room
was
ready,
we
walked
into
our
‘poolside
cabana
suite’
2102
instantly;
we
felt
like
VIPs
gifted
with
ice
bucked
filled
with
a
beautiful
bottle
of
bubbly
sided
with
a
plate
of
fresh
dipped
chocolate
strawberry’s
along
with
a
personalised
celebration
card.
Our
room
was
spacious,
well
lit,
with
soft
features
and
pops
of
gold;
the
room
also
offered
a
large,
elegant
bar
ready
to
mix
cocktails
all
day
long,
exquisite
double
glass
wardrobe
doors
with
thick
white
fluffy
robes
hanging
inside.
Large
Luxurious
Bathroom
with
marble
throughout,
freestanding
bath
overlooking
the
pool
and
city,
large
warm
and
cosy
bed
with
everything
at
the
touch
of
a
button
by
your
side
table.
Everything
about
this
room
was
luxurious.
Having
the
pool
just
a
few
steps
out
the
door
was
simply
magical;
being
the
first
ones
to
experience
that
golden
glisten
sunrise
over
the
large
infinity
pool
was
simply
unforgettable.
Our
‘poolside
cabana
suite’
included
complimentary
access
to
an
inner-city
chauffeur
service
in
a
luxurious
Maserati
Levante,
our
driver
Sam
drove
us
in
style
to
our
booked
dinner
reservation
in
the
city,
he
ensured
we
had
arrived
safely,
and
when
it
came
to
the
time
to
be
picked
up,
Sam
arrived
like
magic,
such
a
gentleman.
Breakfast
was
served
in
‘the
terrace’
our
waiter
Luca
seated
us
at
a
beautiful
table
with
big
plush
velvet
chairs
and
ensured
we
were
going
to
have
a
beautiful
day,
starting
with
juice,
coffee,
followed
by
a
scrumptious
breakfast.
Luca
introduced
us
to
a
waiter
named
‘peter’
who
was
taking
care
of
us
for
the
remanding
of
the
day.
Peter
guided
us
to
the
pool
area
where
he
had
prepared
a
poolside
cabana
with
sunscreen,
fresh
rolled
towels
and
water;
whilst
we
enjoyed
a
beautiful
day
in
the
sun,
Peter
was
very
attentive.
Creating
and
most
beautiful
cocktails,
devious
snacks
and
ensuring
we
were
well
hydrated
and
enjoying
our
time,
such
a
great
personality
and
made
our
day
very
fun.
We
thoroughly
enjoyed
our
weekend
away
at
the
emporium
hotel
and
cannot
wait
to
come
back
again
to
enjoy
this
fantastic
place.
Your
staff
really
made
our
weekend
fabulous,
highlighting
how
special
it
was;
we
are
ever
so
thankful
to
Reece
and
his
team
for
ensuring
we
received
the
very
best
service
and
that
we
really
felt
special.
The
only
negative
I
have
is
the
11
am
check
out;
I
find
this
quite
early
compared
to
other
resorts
we
usually
stay
at,
we
did
try
and
have
it
extended,
but
as
there
are
only
three
‘poolside
cabana
suites’,
we
were
unable
to
extend
our
stay.
