Why have we not been here sooner? This place ranks in my top five eats in the greater Brisbane area. The food was delicious, fresh and arrived in good sized portions. Excellent value for money and the service was prompt and courteous. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended. 5 *****

This place is definitely the most extraordinary place I’ve ever been to. The food goes above 5 star! The staff are all welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is beautiful with nice calming music. And the pasta!!!!! YUM!

Went for dinner on a busy Friday night, so book ahead to avoid disappointment. It's not a huge place but that makes the attention you get from staff pretty good. The food is very good. I had the entree size chowder that came with two generous pieces of toasted Turkish bread. The other meal was honey mustard chicken and the sauce was delicious and the chicken perfectly cooked. I also had creme brullee for dessert and is probably one of the best ones I have had in a very long time. Perfect consistency and the toffee crust was spot on. My only gripe was some other restaurant diners. A family came in with 3 kids. Kids make noise, there's no doubt about that. The problem lies when the parents bury their noses in their phones and let their kids run around other people trying to eat their meal in peace and becoming a tripping hazard for staff trying to avoid them as they clear tables and deliver hot food. The food at this place is outstanding and for that I'll be back!

Unbelievably consistently fantastic. How can you keep delivering this wonderful food. Tastes better than it looks served with the best friendly service. Drinks are good also served in an old historic homestead house. Can’t beat these meals anywhere in Australia. Go there most weeks even after 3 years of great food and service. This time I went to a wake buffet and the food was great and so the service. The old Jimboomba house atmosphere can’t be beaten. Suzanne and Tony are caring restaurateurs.

We chose to sit outside today and were treated to a true Australian vista of a mob of kangaroos under the trees directly opposite us. Food never fails to impress. The Matakana Chowder is up there with the best in our opinion. Mains are very generous sizes. Any of the deserts will not disappoint. Share a desert, you will not regret it. ENJOY!

We had lunch at Jimboomba house today for Mum's 83rd birthday and it was delightful. The food was delicious and service excellent. Pricing was very fair.

Absolutely lovely people and food, I think some candles on the tables outside would be wonderful though!! It’s just hard to read the menus at night. The chairs are also quite uncomfortable for bigger people. Will always come back to this place

I ordered a steak and for $45 the food quality was so poor, steak was cold and not cooked enough inside, was crusty on the outside with no seasoning. Tasted so bad, when I asked for my BBQ sauce because it was tasteless, the guy looked at me as of it was so abnormal and never ended up bringing it out. Very disappointing.

Everything about this place was lovely! The staff helped to make our celebration a really delightful experience. They were friendly, super-helpful, and proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed. It started right from the booking stage and continued all throughout our lunch. The food was delicious and our position on the verandah superb! All 9 people in our group would recommend Jimboomba House unreservedly! Thanks for a lovely dining experience.

This place is divine! An absolute hidden gem in Jimboomba! We enjoy sharing the fresh, homemade cob loaf and garlic butter, the pork belly entree. Mains were the beef cheek (melt in your mouth) and the scotch fillet was cooked to perfection!! And our cheeky toddler had the chicken nuggets which were beautifully crumbed. Also ordered a sneaky caramilk cheesecake with coffee base to take home!! Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality and atmosphere tonight! We will be back again and next time we will bring some family or friends! Keep up the fantastic work! 👍🏼

Very pleasant restaurant. We had a chicken schnitzel and a chorizo and smoked cheese gnocchi (a special). Both were excellent. There is lots of parking and indoor/outdoor seating. Highly recommended.

We celebrated my birthday with friends. The food was very good, well presented and most of all delicious. The service was also very good, prompt we were informed about the specials and the girls were delightful. I will definitely recommend Jimboomba House to anyone.

Visited Jimboomba House Restaurant for the first time tonight and I'll definitely be going back! Everything we ordered (mains and dessert) was 10/10, staff were lovely and attentive and the place had a beautiful atmosphere. We sat on the verandah, which was enclosed and protected from the wind, and got to relax as the sun set and we enjoyed our delicious meals.

I do feel that the restaurant needs some changes to be 5 stars. We were invited to celebrate a birthday. I took my mum and three kids. $190 for 5 meals and a drink each. My eldest two children ordered the chicken schnitzel which was overcooked and you could taste the oil. I ordered the eye fillet, chips and salad. The chips took up half the plate, the salad was mostly leaves with one cherry tomato, cut in half on all of our plates. The plate was so small that there was no room to actually cut the steak. My youngest ordered the kids spaghetti Bolognese and it was mostly the Bolognese with very little pasta in it. The fake flowers on the table need to go, there place is in a cemetery. They really need to fix the steps. I nearly crippled my ankle leaving the restaurant. Would I eat here again? The restaurant provides a very nice atmosphere, it was an experience and quite pricey. But me and my kids have ordered the same food at a local pub and the food was of a higher quality. At this price, the food needs to be exceptional. Hopefully the restaurant will consider this constructive criticism for five stars.

I come here every so often with my nanny and we split a plate of oysters - always fresh and delicious, and the cappuccino is 10/10! The site isn’t the most walker friendly but the staff do an excellent job of supporting. And you can enter via the side entrance if you park up the hill. An excellent place to visit for lunch!

We had lunch today for my son's birthday. We ordered 5 different mains Pork Belly Asian Salad, Lemon Pepper Calamari, veal Scallopini, Gourmet Chicken Melt and Chicken Parmigiana. All meals were excellent. We ordered two desserts Sticky Date Pudding and Caramilk and Coffee cheesecake which were superb. Great old world charm, great service and value for money. A must try.

Christmas dinner. Great friendly service, terrific atmosphere and most of all the food was absolutely the best, compliments to the chef. Not our first experience at this restaurant and won’t be our last. On every occasion it has been a positive experience. Made our Christmas day, thank you.

What a hidden secret, this place is. Firstly. Pork belly, Pork belly. I've never eaten something so perfect. It just melted in my mouth. But, it wasn't just the Pork belly. It was our offices Christmas lunch. Fellow staff raved about their meals, including the fish. The deserts were also tremendous. Staff were attentive and courteous. Five stars all the way, for this gem of a place.
