This place is amazing for celiacs and those that need gluten free food. They have gluten free pies, chips, burgers, wraps, slices, tarts. Highly recommend stopping by even if you're just passing by.

What an absolute gem of a place. The gluten free food is delicious. The GF pies are huge and amazing. The curry, cheese and chips gluten free wrap is one of the greatest meals ever!

Lovely bakery with a good selection of everyday needed baked goods as well as pies and a hot food section. I’ve been here several times and food always tasted fresh. Prices fair and staff was friendly. Good outdoor seating available. Car park in front, always able to get a space. They also sell some South African deli items, only a few but still. Coffee tastes great. Very generous and delicious sandwiches.

I would highly recommend trying this place out for breakfast or lunch especially if you have coeliac disease. Dine with joy has a range of gluten free options including fish and chips which are my favourite. They have coeliac disease accreditation so you can be extra ensured everything is safe. The owner is very lovely and approaches all her customers with care.

I so badly wanted to love this place. Joy was really nice, and the staff were very kind and respectful, you can tell Joy loves doing what she does. The milktart was AMAZING. It was so yummy, and the keoksister was also very good, however the veotkeok was extremely underwhelming!! 😭 I feel bad saying it as everything else was amazing, but it was very flat and quite dry, and the mince was personally not my favourite, but everything else was great.

Got a steak and mushroom pie today tasted nice but should have been called a gravy pie with one piece of steak N 2 slices of mushroom. Then asked for south African crunchie 2 pieces got home and received 2 cookies chocolate chip lucky they were yummy !!!

A great little cafe is Dine with Joy with lovely staff too. All the gluten free options such as yummy slices, cakes, hot pies and more plus African dishes to tempt the tastebuds. Joy and the team also make a great coffee or hot chocolate. Call in and say hello.

The milk tarts and pies are honestly the most amazing things ever! We go here whenever we can. Staff are always so lovely too.

Before I begin my review, I haven’t brought anything from Dine with Joy unfortunately. Early Friday morning, and I needed a coffee, as I went to walk in, I was greeted with a smile from Joy who was delivering food to another customer. I went to the register to place my order, and the young staff member walked up to the till and just looked at me, blankly. No smile. No hello. No nothing. After I realised the terrible service I would be receiving I decided not to place an order.

Amazing Gluten Free food!! Best Gluten Free Pies in South East QLD!!! These guys are so considerate of people with food intolerances/allergies and they have a special cabinet for all their Gluten Free bakery goods so I feel really safe eating here. They have a nice range of pies and also have some options for those with onion/ dairy intolerances. They also have a range of Gluten Free take home meals which are also delicious! For someone living with food intolernaces I drive all the way from Brisbane to eat here! It's that good! Thank you Dine With Joy team for accommodating us Gluten Free folk!

Very lovely team. We hardly ever do fast food, and my child could finally taste a burger which he was super excited about. The owner and staff were all so lovely and chatty, I found out more about South African cuisine.

We made an emergency pitstop here for lunch as our little one was having a big cry in the car. A fortunate event it turns out. The mutton curry and bacon and cheese pies were delicious, and the milk tart was to die for. It was so good we ordered a bunny chow since the little one had fallen asleep. Spicy, hot and delicious! It was our first time trying South African food, and I must say we'll be back. A special thank you to Joy for letting us know we can freely feed our child at her cafe without worry. It was very kind of you.

This place has the best curry pie in Brisbane!!!! EVERYONE should try the mutton pies, to die for!! Also had the chicken breyani, vegetable curry and lamb shanks woth veg, all of them 🔥🔥🔥🔥 The owner is super nice and welcoming aswell. 10/10 experience during this covid craziness. Thankyou

That is not mash potato you put on your pies… I could literally pick it up and roll it in a ball in my hands. Tasted like sachet potato. My husband put some in his mouth and then scraped it out with his fingers. Pies were nice although they use to be more chunky pieces of steak and less gelatine like we remembered them here.

One of the best meals we have had. Staff is lovely and friendly. We tried bunny chow chicken and mutton for lunch this afternoon which was absolutely delicious and tender. Definitely going back to try more things on the menu.

Steak bacon and cheese pie, super tender steak, hardly any cheese or bacon but a very well done gravy with notes of Rosemary and thyme that lingers with a pleasant taste in the mouth.

I've never written a bad review before, but I hope this brings some kind of awareness to the owner. I won't be going here again unfortunately. I used to stop in here as I thought the owner was nice and wanted to support local business. I was catching up with a friend on Saturday and we had purchased an acai bowl from Wyld Organics. As there was no other seating available and it was a hot day, we decided we should go sit at 'Dine With Joy' to eat it before it melts. I told my friend that the owner is quite nice. To be appreciative of the seating, we purchased some drinks from there prior to sitting down. As I went to sit down, the owner approached us (I thought she was coming to say hello as we have spoken previously), but proceeded to tell us that they don't allow people to eat outside food at their (outside) tables, as people tend to leave a mess and rubbish. She even pointed to their windows saying that there are signs about this. She started saying, as a once-off, we could eat our bowls there. I politely said "that's okay, we'll just go" where she then said "you can finish your drinks, but we'll have to take the acai bowls off you." Bear in mind, she's talking to two women in their late 20s (26 and 27). Imagine speaking to grown, professional women like they are children? It's very disappointing to see this behaviour, especially coming from the owner! Every other time I have seen her, she has been really lovely. So for her to walk up to us in a serious manner and speak to us that way was very shocking. Have never had this happen anywhere else. We deliberately purchase drinks to be courteous and nothing was mentioned at the counter where we said "Just drinks please, we have these"(the acai bowls). There were a few people eating there, so we didn't want to cause a scene and ruin the atmosphere for people and their kids. We just won't come back. Everyone I've spoken to said this is ridiculous. This is the perfect way to ruin your reputation and customer retention. I sincerely hope the owner changes their policy, as this is surely impacting their business. Based off their reviews, this has happened before and still hasn't changed. I understand reading these reviews as the owner can be stressful, but the way you treated us was also really upsetting.

I have been going to Dine with Joy for many many years. The mutton bunnychow is amazing. It's my favourite place to go to feel at home, away from home. Aunty Joy is incredible. Make a trip and you will not be disappointed.
