Call me stupid for waiting so long to eat here. The food is exceptional and so flavoursome for such a great price. The staff make you feel so comfortable and welcome. Will definitely be going back regularly. Thank you Diamond restaurant for a very pleasant night. Must mention the dim sims best ever.

Been going here for years.... One of the best Chinese meals I have ever had... Whether you dine in or take away. The meals are always fresh, the prices are good and the food tastes amazing

The takeaway food is generally good though some dishes can be a bit on the bland side (chicken and vegetable), but the sweet 'n sour is often good and special fried rice is reasonable. Shandy and perhaps another dish will often hit the spot and hard to beat for price. Seems to be really family run, at least the past 10 years I've lived in the area, just a shame they're not always open on days and during times one might expect. There are pricier options in the area that can be gambled on, but Diamond has always been consistent and a reliable go to in Springwood area that is hard to beat on food quality for price. Updated: I noted some time ago that the food tasted bland. Well for past few times it's no longer the case. Well cooked, good taste, good price. So updating my review to 5 stars. Good job guys! 2nd Update (9/10/2022): Been a number of months (~ 6 months) since last purchased, and something has changed. I can only go by what I eat. Last night (Saturday) and fried rice was extra dry and mainly rice (minimal other ingredients). Chicken in almond chicken dish was chewy, as was the beef (very chewy) in szechuan. Vegetables minimal and soggy. Very watery not saucey. Sweet 'n sour only reasonable dish. Updating from 5 to 3 stars, but I'd rate last nights as 2 stars really. Sorry!

Its lovely the people are friendly, very welcoming the food is rather scrumptous its fresh, hot, quick and tasty. Great pricing for just you or you family. its family friendly. I cant wait to eat there again.

We drive 30 minutes to eat here. I’m not a pork lover but they have the most amazing dim sims you’ll ever eat. Have tried a number of dishes and they never disappoint.

Excellent service and food, I know that when it gets busy you may wait a bit longer but is worth the wait. Great value for money and in my opinion the best Chinese food in this area of town.

Have been looking for a good local Chinese restaurant and found Diamond. I ordered the takeaway Shandy, and it was fresh and hot, not to mention great flavours. The serve was very generous, I actually had 3 meals. Decided to try again tonight. Well, it's definitely popular with a one hour wait time. But I will definitely wait. This place is definitely a 💎

Made order on the 24 Aug 2023, 2 large fried rice, a beef and black bean and sweet and sour pork, the food was absolutely disgusting not eatable meat was really tuff rice undercooked sweet and sour pork no plum sauce spring rolls hardly no stuffing.

Freshest Chinese Food and brilliantly priced. Love the friendly atmosphere that is created by the staff.

Fried rice was average at best but chicken dish was very nice. Good service. Very 80s theme, could do with a reno but doesn't really matter.

Been to this restaurant for quite a few times now, thought it is only fair if I write a genuine review for them. The girls working there are always friendly and welcoming. The food is good. Absolutely love their the wonton soup and salt and pepper pork. Also love their BYO, which means you can share your favourite drinks with your friends and families.

Outstanding meal here. The staffs / owners are so friendly as well. I have been going to this place from 2015 and is definitely a go-to place. I love the Mongolian chicken extra spicy served with steamed rice.

Haven't been here for awhile but everything is still 5star. The great food, price, customer service. Awesome in every way.

Food was very disappointing. None of the dishes had any flavour. Special Fried Rice was so dry and consisted of rice, 3 small prawns, two pieces of dry pork and a few specks of egg. Ordered 6 dim sims and only got 4. Spent nearly $90 and didn't even get a freebie.(Spend that at another local and you get prawn chips and a 1.25 soft drink)

Only giving 5 stars because I can't give 10. Been going to Diamond for 15 years, even though we moved out of the immediate neighbourhood, and tonight our food was even brought out to the car while we waited to go back in when it was ready. Friendly owners/staff, fast service and above all else clean. Can't recommend them enough, try the Mongolian beef. :)

The employees were so friendly and the food was great; plus they had the cutest puppy that looked like a fluffy teddy bear 🙂 I recommend the sweet and sour pork

This is a little gem hiding away in Springwood. The meals always taste good as the cook has been there for as long as the restaurant started. They are priced right, and you can still afford to have a feast on the weekends with family or friends. You can even grab a lunch at great prices.
