We have been looking for a decent fish and chip shop for a long long time to match or get as close to our beloved Fish and chips made by the Greeks in Victoria since we left 28 years ago and we think we have found the closest thing to it and it's this place, not quite there but at least the flake is real. A local seafood store while passing thru from M3 highway. It's located right near highway at Loganholme. As soon as I seen the store, I took the first exit for a quick look & shopping. Salmon & crabs was very delicious and fresh. It's a recommended seafood store in Logan area.

This was an Absolute Highlight of meal with this food outlet. The battered oysters were So Delicious I couldn't compare that taste to anything else I have Ever tasted. I ordered a few types of battered and grilled fish and they were all cooked to Perfection. It wasn't oily, the food was a nice temperature when it was given to me and the prices were Very Reasonable. The person who served me came out to see how I was going and he explained to me that Everything is prepared Fresh not frozen. They cut the fish themselves and the oysters are Fresh when cooked. All in all, this was a Truly Marvelous experience and I will Definitely come back again. The food, service and value for money are All 5 Stars from me, I Highly Recommend that you Try it for Yourself!

Stopped in for lunch yesterday and we were greeted by smiling faces and great service! Food came out quick and it was great pricing. We got the value pack for 2 and 6 calamari pieces. We couldn't even finish it all. The potato scallops were the highlight though - honestly the best I've ever had! Easy to get to off the highway and park, so now every road trip we'll know where to stop in for some yummy food!

Beautiful fish and chips. Lovely people, however, there was no seating inside the air-conditioned shop and we sat outside in 100% humidity 34°C weather. I had to buy 1.5L bottle of water (which they sold $4.50) to rehydrate. Though they had nice large outdoor picnic tables and seats and brought out our meals when they were ready...I am definitely going again... In better weather. AA+++

In the two months I've been in QLD, I must admit to being disappointed in many of the fish N Chips places. Living in coastal Florida, the selection and quality of seafood is hard to beat. Well, folks, that ended when Julie and I went to The Local Fisho Loganholme. I was totally blown away and that's an understatement. Walking up to the counter/display cases, I found several species of beautiful looking filets. The sweet lady behind the counter said we could choose what we wanted, buy it by weight and for the bargain price of $2.50, they'd prepare it broiled, crumbed, or battered! It would cost me more than that at home. I guess our eyes were bigger than our tummies because the two crispy and delicious filets were HUGE! Mere words can't describe how fresh and sweet the perfectly fried fish was. I was crunchy outside and juicy inside. The fries were excellent but I forgot to ask that they be left in the oil a bit longer. My fault but, they did add the chicken salt we asked for. Now, I'm completely spoiled as to where to go for fresh fish. Fisho, you've earned my business whenever I'm here and I'll spread the word. Bruce and Julie Port Orange, Florida USA

Ordered 3 pieces of crumbed cod. Definately not what I ordered (not cod). Not sure what it was but I couldn't eat it probably that garbage bassa fish Was a regular not anymore lost me as a customer.

The seafood here is fresh and the prices are good. I usually get Prawns and fresh fish fillets and the occasional crab and have always been satisfied. The staff are friendly and helpful and oblige me when I want something particular. Not all seafood places are consistent with quality and freshness, but this business does that well. It's worth the drive for me.

Your best fish local shop. You know they serve good food when it's located far from other food establishments and off from the usual route yet the business is standing strong.

Had lunch Thu 11 Jan (my B'day). THE best battered flake. Also got some awesome Tassie Oysters, some Bugs and prawns for dinner! Staff are so friendly. Everything is spotless and sitting outside while you eat, watching the world go by, is so good. Highly recommend these guys for any seafood you may be craving!

Was alittle dissapointed. Even though the oil did not taste burnt, batter was not greasy like most , and the chips where nice and thick, they were still alittle undercooked . The fish was watery and mushy and had no taste, and was definately not Cod, and was a pleasant experience The calamari was not real calamari , (wholesale bulk processed rings ). Expected fresh seafood not frozen. Price was reasonable and shop was clean. Staff are friendly but not attentive.

We been coming here for 6 months or more at least once a week, But after tonight we will look out for some where new. Honestly they are hit and miss, some day your food is hot and fresh, others its cold. They batch cook from what i can tell and don't have enough fryers to keep up in busy periods. I put a phone order in as usual, typical 15-20min response, arrived around the 20min mark after ordering, paid, then saw the burger i ordered get pushed to the side, (I thought my order may be ready soon) while waiting I see other orders getting made up, but they just sit there getting cold for 10mins before chips are ready. Well it was close to 20mins after paying I received our order, 7min drive home. The steak burger stone cold, steak was dryer than mars, also ordered and paid for a burger with the lot, but got steak, lettuce tomato beetroot only. The battered fish had not sign of warmth at all. The only hot part were the chips but they were undercooked and pay for a large and get a small. We have given them the benefit of doubt but after tonight no. What they could do better: Get another deep dryer or 2, get some heat lamps or a hot box. Cook to order (hot food shouldn't be sitting on a bench for 10mins before going out, it's barely warm when you have handed it over)

Great food great price chips are amazing had kids meals they loved it just not very fond of the crumb nuggets fussy kids We had burgers wife loved beef burger my fish burger was good wish fish was battered thoe and more sauce but over all good experience

Great food, have had take out as well as delivery and haven’t been able to fault. We have ordered delivery close to closing and they have been out of a few things, however they always substitute it for something else which is much better than just not getting anything when you have hungry mouths to feed! 6 calamari took 30 mins to cook, they served multiple customers after me that go their food before me.. the chips were borderline raw and cold on inside, chicken salt was all lumped in one spot on 5 chips. Bad experience, even worse food

Fish was fresh (large snapper fillets) and was cooked well. Prawns were also fresh and tasty. Unfortunately forgot to put my extra sauce in the meal (2nd time)

I have been going to this place since I could walk. Everyone, even non-locals know that if you want good seafood, this is the place to go. There is a reason the line is out the door for special occasions such as Xmas. Not only is the seafood affordable and fresh, but the FRESHLY MADE hot food is perfect too! My workplace is nearby, so I pop down for lunch sometimes and get whatever I feel like for the day, whether it be a burger, chips or fried fish. The staff have always been lovely, but the lady who serves me every time makes me feel welcomed. She is fast and efficient at her job whilst also performing PERFECT customer service. Not once have I ever left without a smile on my face. Thank you to all the staff that create a relaxed environment whilst also working fast to serve guests. I hope you know the impact on peoples lives you do just by being there!
