    One of the employees I was ordering from were very rude, she did not pay attention to what I was saying and kept ignoring me. I also bought almost 35$ worth of food and she still sold me a bag for 10c. The food was dry and stale and wasn’t fresh. I even went to a different sushi place that was cheaper and tastier. I don’t recommended this place at all👎

    Really disappointed. Ordered Karaage chicken. The food looked nothing like the picture on the online menu. Didn’t get a salad. The chicken was dry. Not much sauce like the picture. Chicken and rice ratio was off.

    Very rude staff they talk in there language you have to repeat what you ordered tables are not clean chairs are sticky and tables very expensive on price other than that I’m done with this poorly shop

    Really good! Fresh sushi, and friendly staff. I love the touch screen ordering at each table. Almost too easy to order more sushi :P Would definitely go here again.

    Ripoff sushi place, recommend going elsewhere to get better quality food for better price. Bought two plates of sushi rolls and ramen…. for $35!! Respectfully, the ramen did not taste anything near to what ramen should and does taste like, and for the price of the dish the quantity did not meet the expectation. It literally tasted like urine we couldn’t continue eating it. In total (with two soft drinks) came to just under $50 for two sushi plates and quarter-eaten ramen, we ended up leaving and going to another sushi place that could provide better quality food for much cheaper price. Very overpriced for a standard sushi joint, truly you could spend easy $100+ for two people to have 5 plates each as the majority of plates are around $7! Better yet, there was a notice on the front counter stating that from 1st July there will be a price increase on all dishes.

    Have stood at the please wait to be seated sign twice for a LONG time it was like I did not exist. I guess I will never know if the food is good if I never get acknowledged. I walked past today and noticed someone standing confused at the sign and no one was helping him either. Plenty of seats available just unwelcoming staff.

    It's not a big variety to choose from a bit expensive for what you receive.Ive actually been to better sushi places, but I wouldn't recommend eating here

    This place is certainly underrated! I've been here twice now (photos are from my most recent visit), and the food is always fresh, tastes and smells amazing. The presentation is up there, and the time it takes from ordering to receiving the dishes is super quick! If you haven't already, go and have a taste test. This time around I found everything delicious, but, however this was one dish (Takoyaki) that was average and couldn't been better.

    Not sure how the fresh made meals are but stopped in for the train today and was bitterly disappointed. Had the tuna and avocado, tuna is definitely the cheapest you can get, bad texture and taste. The teriyaki maki rolls were not sauced properly with only the middle ones getting it. They were also dry and bland regardless. Looks like they sank their money into the fancy ordering system at each table and scrimped on the ingredients. Will not be going again.

    Food was cold even when ordered fresh. Couldn't order takeaway after dine in as they were too "busy". Service was slow. We won't be back.

    I was a regular customer at the Meadowbrook store, I ate there every week, however I was so disappointed by the service I received on my last visit. First, I was confused why they served my favourite dish without vegetables, which it usually always did, and which had them in the menu photos. Turns out Wara Sushi thought it was a good idea to downgrade my favourite dish by 'blending' all of the vegetables into the sauce instead of serving them whole like usual. They did this without updating their menu photos to match. When trying to respectfully give feedback that the dish is worse that way and it's not what I'd paid for, the staff told me they will not accept any feedback and I should contact head office??? I'm the customer of the specific store, I don't expect to have to understand your business model and contact a 'head office' in order to convey my feedback. I'd expect the venue to accept my feedback and THEY can communicate it internally however they need to internally. This was an unprofessional response from the store staff and is not how 'hospitality' is supposed to be. Having taken the store's unhelpful response however, I DID go home and write two separate emails to their head office via the website. This was now FIVE DAYS ago and I have never had an email or phone call back at all - nothing. Incredibly unprofessional and disappointing, I won't be returning.

    Worst sushi I’ve ever had, the crispy chicken was soggy and cold and the rice tasted old and disgusting. It instantly gave me heart burn, indigestion and made me feel sick 🤢 Also had the worst service, only one person serving and all the tables were not cleaned. The person who served us was also rude and didn’t care that our food was inedible. Do not come to this sushi place, worst I’ve ever had 🤮 P.S Pretty sure I’m gunna get food poisoning…..

    The food did not taste fresh and when we took 3 plates off the train there were little fly like insects that crawled out. Unfortunately the worst place I have been.

    I ordered a teryiaki chicken bowl which eventually arrived in one of those black round containers. It cost $16 and the bowl was more than half empty. Not sure if they ran out of rice or something but this was quite a disappointment. Food tasted ok, nothing amazing, but good

    Although they use to be pretty good, they have turned to absolute trash. Not only did we have full meals missing from our order but the stuff that we did receive was burnt to a black charcoal and non editable. This is probably the last time we will ever come back.

    Worst sushi Ive ever had! Chicken was soggy stone cold and old! The best thing i got was a powerade and that took 15 mins. Wouldnt ever go back. Even the rice was gross. Wouldnt send my worst enemy here. Gross lol

    Regular customer - Love the food, but unfortunately my last meal was disappointing - reviews are starting to trend downwards... My Katsu Curry (although gone up in price) had a lot less food then usual (1/2)... paid for more meat - which was fine - but the rest didn't even half full the bowl... expensive for what little I got. Disappointed...

    I'm not sure what happened, however the quality of the sushi declined so fast. This use to be quite nice, however the last few times were extremely overpriced, cold (when should be hot), and overall disgusting.

    Sushi is good, but never stays together? Chatswood hill is a lot better and rolls stay together. Maybe something to improve on.. seems like something that would make you look less amateur, and help with presentation.

    Drove 40 minutes to get sushi, turned up at 8:20 to get dinner. On arrival told sorry only have what’s on the train available, family of 5 and three plates left. I then said we are happy to wait, they refused! Was my fav sushi restaurant but will not come back after this! If your advertised as being open until 9 then maybe change this to be open u til 8!

    Not a great variety on the train track at lunch time. Mostly chicken. All the good stuff has to be ordered via tablet. It's a bit annoying when you're hungry and on a break and you have to wait another 10 to 15 min. By the way, the sushi I've ordered was fresh and tasty.
