Been a long time and a few owners in between breakfast visits. Coffee is so much better than the last time. Quality of the breakfast has improved tremendously. The scrambled eggs are professional...folded, not stirred...soft and fluffy. Great job, guys.

Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of dining at the Red Cardinal Cafe for breakfast and it was nothing short of spectacular. The food was delectably astounding, complemented by coffee that was nothing less than superb. My children too, were delightfully charmed by their meal offerings. Notably, the babyccino stood out, eliciting exclamations of delight with every sip. In retrospect the experience easily merited a full five-star rating. It's a gem nestled within a mere 3 minutes' drive from my home and the only regret I harbor is not having discovered it sooner. Overall, it's a place of culinary excellence that leaves you yearning for more.

My wife and I had breakfast here, food was so so so delicious. But what amazes us was when we order our food without bacon (we don't eat bacon due to religious principles) the chef came out and asked the reason why, and the reason why he asked is that so he wanted to make sure he'll clean his fryer of any bacon, or smell before he fried our eggs. Now that shows professional and caring. First time ever in my life I came across someone like that, or restaurant. Amazing service too lady at front counter.

Amazing breakfast here, best one we have had since we have been in Australia on holiday. Meals were too big, even for our hugh kiwi appetites. Definite value for money and very friendly staff

Great food! I called up for a group order and requested it be ready at a certain time. The order was being finalised as I arrived so it was perfect timing. All of our breakfast was hot, fresh and very yummy! The staff were super friendly and happy. Staff were friendly and happy.

I work next door and always get my morning coffee and brekkie/lunch from here. It’s the best!! The loveliest owners and such great service. The quality of the fruits/veggies are soo good.

The food is amazing but the service is even better. My daughter loved their babychino so much she asked for a second one! And the coffee is great 👍🙂

Before we begin this review journey, it is important that I be up front with you. I’ve not been physically present at this venue, but I have ordered food for delivery from them many times. This means that both this review and my rating are based purely on the food. Red Cardinal Café has some of the best takeaway coffee I’ve had in Brisbane’s southern suburbs. If I’m having a bad morning, I will seek the comfort of the largest possible flat white from Red Cardinal, and I know that I will soon feel safely wrapped in caffeine warmth. At this stage I’ve no idea how many I’ve had, but I can tell you, it is a lot, and there’s not been a single bad one.

The brekky wraps are huge for $12 and the eggs benedict stack is yum. Love this lil cafe the coffe os also good and im fussy with my Latte

Fantastic food, Good coffee and amazing staff. Pets are welcome and the girls will bring out some cooked chickenn and a water bowl if asked.

Lovely bacon and eggs + pancakes beautifully presented and tasty as it gets - Coffee excellent too, really great local family business that we love for our weekend brekky treat !

Second time visiting this cafe, have loved both meals, the coffee was excellent, very friendly staff. A point of particular note, the eggs Benedict bread did not require a chainsaw and was delicious. Highly recommend!
