Heard about this shop so we decided to try it out $60: 80 corn jack seafood stick 3 fish 12 fried oysters and chips a bacon and egg burger raw fish wasn’t bad but wasn’t good Just a little constructive criticism for you That might help Turn you fryer up a bit more Cook your food a little longer And drain it well before putting it in the box we like to eat our fish and chips basically straight away in the car on the way home it was very soggy and buy the time we got home 15 mins later the box had a lot of oil in it the batter just dropped off the fish and the oysters slid out of the batter and it’s cause they had not been cooked long enough on the up side the boy said the raw fish was really good I’m only telling you this from experience as a family owned fish and chip shop please don’t take it the wrong way

Update 9.09.23 Rewena bread $20 it's big NO for me!! not mixed properly, had unmixed flour spots through out the bread and didn't taste freshly baked as advertised tasted a few days old and was stale. Worst money spent!! 2021 post.. Orders were wrong 2 times but you guys kinda fixed it due to staff being sick (had food missing on the second trip out to you didn't bother calling back not coming out a 3rd time), But the steak burger is AWESOME 🤩 and the rest of the food average for a take away.

The food was yuk. Raw fish was full of sugar and the batter on my mussels was raw. I ordered a grilles snapper and it came out dry and overcooked

We went here on Labour day. This place use to be a great place to eat. It's lost its cleanliness and happy atmosphere. You could feel stress in the air. The tables still had dirty dishes, which a young lady finally cleared after going to the vape shop next door. Not professional when you have people waiting. First I want to thank the young girl who served us. She did a great job. X5 stars for you. It was a long wait, the fish was not fresh. I will not go back. Nor do I recommend the food.

Order number 84 placed tonight 26/5/23 Placed the order by the lady in the all black with the white hat I believe she was perfect with customer service but didn’t know how to change the eftpos roll I had to show her how to . The young fella in the all black had perfect customer service too . But the older lady in the all black with blue writing across the shirt her customer service was disgusting and she was swearing to her fellow work colleagues in-front of customers . Even when told by customers that it was not appropriate. She was being very blunt and bossy when directing staff to complete task I didn’t hear not one say please or thank you in the 30 min I was in the shop .I placed my order at 5:58pm and didn’t get my meal to leave until 6:30pm . This is after they messed up my meal and had to go back to the shop to collect part of my meal that was missing .Cabana was stone cold and under cooked ,chips old and soggy . No lemon with the fish after being asked if I wanted it and I said yes .fish was very average not bad but not outstanding . I’m a very big believer in that you vote with how you spend money and for a $30 meal it was very poor and I will not be back and I hope that management sees this and chooses to make a change as those poor staff deserve better .

l have been going here now for around 5 years, every time without fail it's been great. look l get the same thing every time, snapper and chips fantastic...

I only just discovered this amazing store. Service plus food was amazing. The set out is perfect. Will be returning frequently.

no stars....To the owner or manager that walk in tonight in the black jacket and was at till. You need to train the young kids you have cooking for you tonight. I am actually taking the time to send this and I will make a post about the terrible meal ordered. I paid $40 to wait 40 minutes to get home and have cold chips and I mean cold that would have been cooked before I even ordered my meal, 5 battered fish when I ordered crumbed fish, and the most terrible looking potato scallops that should not be served and you ask for extra chicken salt...and you get no salt. Extremely disappointed and will never order from you again.

If I could give them no stars I would. Do not waist your money I should of read the reviews first And when you read them believe them because this place is awful. We had missing food, so much missing food. Chips were soggy and cold Burger bun was wet and soggy with water dropping of it , Waisted $80 on rubbish. Went back to speak to them and they were not interested.

The food is good however you need to sort your customer service out. Rude younger staff, missing items from order which happens quite often. This place used to be top tier and would recommend it to all my friends. It’s definitely gone downhill in the last year now that there’s new staff. And your seafood in the fridge taste like toilet water.

Food is disgusting, too much batter on food. Only thing nice was the milk shake. Cost over $30. Would rather drive to hangi Pitt!!

Soggy chips, gravy was cold and only half full as well as missing food. Chips didn't even have any chicken salt let alone anything on them. Just plain. Spent $24 and waited 30 minutes to get dissapointed. Usually the food is great but was dissapointed tonight. Apart from that, service apart from the wait was good.

Look no further!! This is the best fish n chips in the redlands!! I have ordered 2 nights in a row and will definitely order much much more!! Crumbed prawns were my favourite but the fish was also perfect as were the seafood bites, above average portions and the tastiest meal I've had this year and maybe longer, words can not explain how happy this meal made me

Girlie working tonight needs an attitude adjustment. Your food is definitely not good enough to be dishing out that kind of rude customer service. Food was not worth the money, dripping in oil and just not good quality. This is the second time I have had issues, won’t be back for a third.

We spent over $100 and placed and online order. Waited for over an hour with only Two girls working with little compassion for customer service. The fish was big and was ok. The servicing size of the chips we got - so tiny! I’m sure they got our order wrong as we ordered 3 meals and an extra serve of chips and was given the smallest portion. Didn’t make sense. The best thing was the tartare sauce tasted great and the only pacific oysters everything else wouldn’t rate at all. Will not be back.

Had to edit my review because they've forgotten items in my order FOUR times in a row now. I always get a refund for the missing items via uber eats, but this is getting ridiculous. It's a real shame, because the food is usually great. I order 2 - 3 times a week at the moment but I think I'll be looking elsewhere after this.

Normally we love this place but tonight we ordered 6 potato scallops. Got 5 and they were so tiny. Ordered grilled fish. It was cold and looked like a third of a piece of fish and it was all mushy. Only good serve was a spring roll. Very disappointing as we have recommended the browns Plains store to many friends

Felt like I was back home, just with a few more options for what fish Id like. Chose the fish of the day, easy choice. Fish, chips and a salad. The meal was generous, the battered fish was really nice. Chips cooked to perfection and a salad to go with it. I enjoyed my meal, the general ambience of Fisherman's Daughter reminds me of being in Nz. To all the crumbed fish eaters, jump out of your comfort zone and hit up their batter it is awesome!

What a lovely fish n chips shop, great friendly service by the staff, lovely music plenty of seats to sit n relax and eat the beautifully prepared meals- 10/10 for this place, they’re even great when u stuff up your own order and they had no problems fixing it all with a smile. I highly recommend this great little take away. Thanks guys for great service.

Chips were average, nothing to rave on about. The fish, oysters, mussels, scallops were a soggy mess. I’ve been here once before, and knew I didn’t like the food but forgot the reason so I thought I’d come back which was my mistake. The food may be ok for some kiwis but not for this one. I’d rather travel to springfield and get fish n chips at the hungi pit, least I know they can cook. Anyway I have to say the milkshake was good, maybe next time I’ll just stick with a shake.

This is the worst fish and chips I have ever had. The food was so oily we couldn’t eat it and my husbands hamburger was still raw in the middle. Would not recommend this place to anyone

Please train your staff in positive customer service, especially front of house. It's as though your staff member on the till didn't want to be there last night as she took my order. She was rude, cut me off as I talked. Second young girl that brought my order out was much friendlier.

This was a memorable experience for me and my family. I didn't spend a great amount of money for 4 people and they cooked the fish and chips to perfection! The drinks and sauces were a little on the expensive side but overall I didn't mind paying because the food was extra tasty! I'd recommend it to anyone out there to try it 100%

Service was okay, but after ordering and eating my ‘Fish Of The Day’ for dinner last night, I’ve been up all night vomiting and also have an upset stomach. All I have is the after taste of oil in my mouth, because I can’t control my vomiting I’m now off to the hospital at 4am in the morning. Fish and potato scallops were quite oily which I couldn’t understand. I was just there on 5/09 for lunch and the food was perfect! Then last night came around, I don’t think l would be able to go back.

Placed an order in shop at 6:13pm. Was told a 30 minute wait. After an hour was told it was only 5 minutes to go. After the longest 5 minutes, which somehow bent the rules of the Space Time Continuum to actually take up 20 minutes, our food arrived. We tried to confirm the order, and the staff member mocked us and we left. Food tasted fine, but clearly something was not right as I spent the entire night sick from whatever I'd eaten. Not what I wanted for the Easter weekend. Will definitely not be ordering from here again. That said, if you want a good clean out of your digestive system then go nuts here. Based on my overnight experience, if that's your thing you won't regret it.

Best burgers in town except none. Juicy, tasty, filling burgers. I've tried burgers all around town. Every single takeout. This place has the best. Thank you for bringing good food back to town.

Ordered from here for lunch and spent a fair bit here over $100, was made to wait over 30mins for the food. Which in itself is unreasonable, when received the food and got home the food was cold and overcooked and there were food items missing no burger and you gave me puha instead of watercress. When we called to advise the person on the phone e wasn't all that interested and tried to fob the call off, not even taking any ownership of the situation. I used to be a long time customer but stopped due to some poor service and I guess I won't be going back anytime soon. Very disappointed.

Food was of a reasonable quality, but poor customer service was a real letdown. Ordered online to arrive in-store and be told the online-ordering portal was not working, which would not be a problem in itself had I not been treated as an inconvenience when I had to re-state my order. As it was, multiple items ordered were not supplied, and since the items were not labelled, this was not discovered until we unpacked the order back at the office. For a first experience, it didn't leave much incentive for a second visit.

Ordered 2 Fish of the Day meals, the fish was cooked well and the meal was a sufficient size. Service from the young girl was excellent 😁 This is our "go to" fish n chip shop.

I wanted a fish burger but they were out of fish so I got a hamburger & chips. The burger was made with low grade mince and was too greasy for my taste. The chips were overdone and lavered in way too much salt.

Fish doesn’t look real, the snapper I ordered was extra thick, wonder where they their fish from. Well and truely overcooked. They use bad oil, and reuse the oil over and over again, you can taste it the first bite you take. Will never go there again.

Oily Fish, soggy chips with a bitter aftertaste, didn't get the potato scallops or lemon I ordered. Couldn't eat it. Was ready quite fast and the fish pieces are huge and good quality. Service was average though. Tried this place because they were cheap, I guess you get what you pay for. Won't be returning.

Solid seafood store here, calamari was particularly nice as often places cook it too little/not enough but here it was perfect. Decent sizes for the price and cannot fault any of the food. Nice and friendly staff as well.

Dan has turned me to love eating fish. Cooked to perfection with eggs, chips and salad. A full meal that I have to sit down to eat. This market is a tough gig. However, perhaps more could be done to take on board the feedback and improve consistently. For example, some people may want smaller meals. Perhaps the ordering process could be streamlined to eliminate delays/mistakes. But guys, be nice, if there is too much food, you don't have to eat it all! If your order gets mixed up, remember it is your neighbours that work there and show a little patience.
