I don’t write bad reviews but couldn’t stop writing one for this restaurant. We had the worst experience so far in this restaurant. We had ordered chicken tikka in iron which I had earlier there so I took my friends for dinner specially to have that dish. The waiter promised us to serve that however we didn’t receive it even after confirming twice. The best part is he was making silly reasons and talking behind our back which I found very disrespectful. We had ordered chopped onions and pappadums which we received when we were finishing our dinner. The curry wasn’t upto the mark as expected. We ordered water which we received when we wanted to leave and we could see the waiters were not very busy as well. We are so disappointed with this place as they didn’t even bother to apologise us for so many things that happened not just one. Even when we were at the counter for billing they still charged us the full amount while they knew they didn’t serve us anything like you do in a average restaurant as well. We were ignored so badly at this place would never visit again.

Our Bollywood group had a fabulous time here for our end of year break up. Thank you to Ricky for the wonderful service, delicious food and amazing atmosphere. So many cool photo opportunities and loved the big movie screen! The drinks prices were very reasonable and there was a good variety too. We really appreciated all of your assistance prior to the event with our menu plan as well. We highly recommend this venue for a great night - we’ll definitely be back soon!

Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Brisbane! I Could not recommend this place high enough and will keep coming back with friends and family and anyone who wants to join me. The staff are beyond friendly, the atmosphere is fun and fresh, the food tastes amazing every single time without fail. If I could give more stars I would! 👏👏👏👏

Love the unique vibe of the restaurant with the Bollywood theme and the motorbike outside the restaurant! My partner and I loved the food which was generously sized and tasty. The cheese and garlic naan are to die for. Really lovely staff that make sure you are enjoying your meal. Great place to get good Indian food.

The food was pathetic, the biryani was just mix of chicken gravy and rice and the biryani masala on top , the chicken korma recipe was sweet yogurt and chicken mixed with haldi powder. Can’t even explain rest of the items.

Loved the food. Tried Desi chicken which was well cooked, tender and tasted perfect. Kadhai Paneer Dish and Nan breads were crispy and soft. Lovely Indian music playing in the background and cozy ambience made my visit memorable. Thanks to the owner, chef and the staff. I am visiting again surely.

I apologise for the tardy review, as my visit dates back to June 2023. However, the delightful memories of the dining experience still linger, urging me to pen down my appreciation. The food was nothing short of awesome, each dish narrating a tale of exquisite flavors and meticulous preparation. The ambiance was a harmonious blend of cozy and elegant, creating a welcoming canvas for the culinary artistry that followed. A special nod to the extensive vegetarian menu, which was a verdant garden of creativity and taste. It was a refreshing experience to have a plethora of vegetarian options, each dish was a testament to the chef's adept versatility. Would definitely visit again and do recommend.

This is a genuine review guys from a Melbourne guy passing through area on business. To be honest, the theme is not my thing, preferring a traditional theme, but, hey, Bollywood ain't my thing either. I guess it was a bit of fun though. But, to the food. I have eaten in several Melbourne Indian restaurants over 30 yrs but that goat curry was the BEST!! Superb! Really hit the spot with a garlic naan and washed down with Oyster bay (reasonably priced on drink menu). Service was great. He didn't hover but there when I needed him. He deserved a good tip. My only regret is I don't come this way often. Thanks guys.

So delicious Indian restaurant. I ordered chicken tika massala(spicy) and butter chicken. Also cheese spinach Nan was really good. It’s taste like a thin pizza 🍕

Just the best Indian, so yum, probably the best I’ve had, especially in a suburb. They are always super polite, clean venue and 95% spot on time with online orders (also the online ordering system is great). We come here at least weekly and I highly recommend it.

Second visit 8th of February 2021: Definitely can confirm this is now our favourite Indian restaurant. Bollywood has amazing curries that are so flavourful we want to try them all. Bollywood has the best naan - even better than Indian Kitchen 🤫! The cheese and garlic naan is to die for. We ordered a Matar Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala with our staple onion bhaji. So delicious. The staff are so friendly also. First visit 29th of January 2021: I love my Indian food and I am super picky with my curries and naan. I have my two favourite Indian restaurants and they are both in the West End and South Brisbane area and never like trying out new Indian places because they can't compete. 😜 However, I reside in SE Brisbane and decided to try out Bollywood Bar due to it's great reviews, proximity and to experiment with something outside my comfort zone. Bollywood didn't disappoint and I am so glad I gave it a go. We ordered 2 curry dishes (mango chicken and paneer palak), cheese and garlic naan (which was amazing! It's tied in my books with Indian Kitchen's naan at West End) 😋 and an amazing onion bhaji with tangy mint sauce to accompany it. The staff were really friendly too. This will be one of our regular Indian restaurants now.

The food is really good.. it was spicy just like our palate. However, I have a feedback to share. As this is an Indian restaurant, the authenticity of India is missing. I hope the the chef can understand what I am trying to say cause the target customer must be Indians and India cuisine is not what I ate. So the hope of Authentic Indian taste needs to bring in. I am sure that can be done!

Read some great reviews and was looking forward to a delicious meal... they are currently running a special which was a two for one which now makes sense as they just made it extra watery to make up for spreading the curry across two containers. The chicken Korma was also extremely sweet but had a good amount of chicken. Naans were fine as well as the samosas. Expensive compared to options within close proximity and underwhelmed overall.

Ordered a takeaway and from the moment I step foot to pick up was greeted with amazing service, delightful cheerful front of house. Not a long wait for my order to be finished. Excellent flavours, more than generous servings and well packaged for the trip home. Piping hot meals we all struggled to get through. Delicious and satisfying, would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back sooner rather than later. Thanks for a memorable meal.

We didn’t have a reservation on a busy Saturday night but the front of house staff were quick to accommodate us and clean down a suitable table. The wait time from ordering to entree to mains was perfectly timed and well presented. The wait staff were friendly and attentive but the best part was the food was amazing. Best naan bread I’ve tasted and the spice was just the right amount… highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit if you’re in the area.

Nice place to eat out Indian food.. I tried Veg Manchurian, GARLIC CHEESE BUTTER MASALA, Cheese Garlic naam, Chilli Paneer. Curry and naam were very good.. But Chinese food is just above average. Overall good food.

Been really disappointment by every Indian on the south side lately. This is now our new favourite. Very authentic, full of flavour and still a very reasonable price. Great service? Highly recommend. Thanks 😊

Quite literally the best restaurant ever, the food is always top notch no one makes naan like theirs!! Their vegetarian options are cooked so impeccable. The spice isn’t super spicy which I like, it’s a tolerable amount to the point it’s mixed so perfectly in with the flavour. The workers are the kindest people, always great convo when my sister and I come in! They remember our orders and it’s quite a great feeling as a customer to know your experience is valuable aswell! The interior is unique and transports you to do a different place!

Good Indian food, the gravy was rich and tasty. A little oily though, and the naan bread was a very small portion.

We used Bollywood to cater for my wife's 50th at our house. They were sensational. Very easy to deal with. Provided bain Marie (if that's how you spell it!) making it so easy. We set them up before the party started and served them without having to think about it. Food was bloody delicious as always. Thanks Ricky!!!

I try to take use of the star rating on Google, 4.6 was a long way off the mark. 3.5 at most. Meat was fresh but flavours were not what you would pay top dollar for.

My family and I tried this restaurant for the first time and the food we tried taste just like my home country. We ordered the Desi chicken curry and the Chicken tikka masala curry, it was very delicious! We will be back again. Great customer service and lovely atmosphere! Really well behaved staff. We really had the best time! Thank you once again!

Back again! Still an amazing experience and the food is excellent. We smash the entrees and only sometimes get to the mains but when we do garndarn.
