I got married here in January and I could not he happier with how the day went. They have reasonably priced wedding packages that include food, drinks, the venue, and the set up, including most of the table décor. It also comes with the wonderful event coordinator Kylie and the staff team there, and honestly I would put down most of the success of the wedding to her. She listened to what we wanted but also was able to offer advice based off her years of experience. The location was a little bit of a drive for most people, but the venue is STUNNING and totally worth it. I could not recommend Albert River enough. If I could give them 20 stars, I would.

The view of vineyard is fabulous. I'd have expected that food will be better. Anyway, it is still worth dining there purely for the landscape.

We enjoyed a family lunch celebration for my husband’s 60th Birthday. A pretty setting, lovely food and wine, and great customer service, We would like to give a special mention to Karen, who with her thoughtfulness, made his day even more memorable, thank you. We will definitely be back. 😊

A really beautiful and serene place to dine in. The food was delicious too! Really unforgettable place. It is like an oasis, a far flung place out of nowhere serving good food!

I love this place! Great food, great location, awesome ambience! I’ve been a couple of times to the restaurant now in the past month for a quiet weekday lunch with girlfriends. You may encounter Karen as your hostess who is an absolute gem, been there for years, is so professional and friendly, and really knows her stuff. You can tell she just loves her job! The weekday lunch menu is not huge which is perfect because what they offer is cooked to absolute perfection. Well done chef and wait staff. And, if that’s not enough to impress, take yourself for a wonder around the amazing grounds and meet Albert, the incredibly beautiful and HUGE friendly resident peacock who loves showing off. It’s a beautiful relaxing mid week outing on the deck and last year I went on a weekend which gets much livelier with entertainment and more people. I myself prefer the midweek quiet but will organise a wine tasting soon also. Thoroughly recommend!

We had a small intimate wedding and could not be happier with Kylie and the team. Kylie's warm and friendly nature makes you feel welcomed from the get go. Was easy to enjoy our day while Kylie was very attentive and met all our needs. Would highly recommend Albert River Wines to anyone.

From the moment we turned into the tree lined driveway that curved up to the historic house sitting above the vineyard, we knew we were in for something special. We had only decided 15 minutes beforehand to give it a try for lunch as we were in the area. We were warmly greeted and seated on the stunning verandah overlooking the beautiful valley and across to Mount Tamborine. Everything was so relaxed and the service was great. We were very impressed with the meals, which were fresh, carefully cooked and presented, and delicious. I tried the semillon sauvignon blanc which was a fantastic mouth explosion of citrusy freshness which went perfectly with my fish. The experience was a great escape from the usual rush of life.

I chose this winery for our Christmas get together as the menu sounded great and we wanted to support a local business. What a mistake!! Crab cakes entre were giant salmon patties with little or no crab! Main course pork belly was 4 1cm pieces of chewy pork with a blob of rice and a plate of lettuce. No plum sauce. Chicken Kiev was about 2cm of chicken breast and bone and a piece of tenderloin. No Ricotta capsicum stuffing. The only thing I ate was the potatoes as the chicken was dry and over cooked. When you are paying $59 per head I would think the meal should be edible. The positive of the night was the staff who were friendly and cheerful. This could be an amazing place if they got a decent chef..

I attended a birthday on the weekend i have been here quite a few times before. Firstly i would like to say the staff were excellent, great service. Also entertainment lovely but it was too hot with no fans and we were squashed in like sardines, the food was dissapointing. $30.00 for fish and chips I have had better at a fish and chip shop with a great salad. Not sure that i would recommend anymore sorry.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here tonight and we weren’t disappointed. Hubby had the crab cake which was flavourful and I had the duck spring rolls which were moorish as entrees. For mains we both enjoyed the rib eye steak both cooked to perfection by Nick and Tyler. There was a great feel and vibe to the evening and all the staff were amazing and professional as this was an extremely busy evening. We look forward to coming back again.

We had our wedding here in September 2023. We fell in love with the venue from the second we saw it. There are so many options for ceremony spaces and reception, all of them stunning. Kylie and Erin took good care of us throughout the whole process and coordinated the wedding on the day so we did not have to worry about anything. They were incredibly attentive and communicative in the lead up to the wedding. Highlights of Albert River Wines are the stunning scenery, everything for your wedding can be done in the one venue, and the venue comes with TWO experienced wedding coordinators and all the decorations you could possibly need for your day. This venue represents a luxurious setup for a stress-free wedding that won't break the budget. The food on the night was spectacular. All of our guests keep commenting on how good it was and how well-coordinated our wedding was. This has to be one of the best wedding venues available in South-East Queensland. We have attached photos that show some of the scenery available at Albert River Wines. These photos were taken by Feather & Finch Photography.

We used to visit here many years ago for a tasting and lunch. The Jacaranda white was a favorite. We excitedly talked you up to friends about your wines. Boy were we disappointed. Tasting reds that were from 2012 and 2013? Where are your more recent wines? They were on the verge of vinegar. I ended up buying a bottle of sparkling white because I felt so sorry for Karen. She tried her hardest to sell wines that should have been poured down the sink. If your going to be a wedding venue, and a good one, stick with that! Don’t try and do both, you are failing miserably. We won’t ever be back, so embarrassed that we talked you up to our friends.

What a lovely luncheon. Sunday luncheon 2 courses for $39 or 3 for $49. It was delish. Must try the barramundi for lunch. It was so sublime x no complaints here. Service and staff beyond helpful. Atmosphere...beautiful and our grandchildren enjoyed the fresh air and vineyard. A must do !

My daughters wedding was held at the winery in early January. It was such a wonderful day! The venue was spectacular. It was fantastic to have the beautiful chapel on the same site as the reception. All along from enquire to the wedding day the staff were super helpful and kind and caring. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We can’t thank Kylie and her team enough for their part in ensuring this day was a stress free, joyful celebration. 💕

WOW What an amazing place to have a wedding. We were lucky to have our wedding on the 29/01/23. We had the awesome Kylie and Erin to help support us in every way, from styling, to the running of the night, nothing was a drama, everything went off without a hitch. Even though it was a disgustingly hot day, Tamborine house was cool and with a Breeze overlooking the beautiful winery. Our guests loved the food and the great service. Thank you Albert River Wines for making our day so Special..

My Husband & myself got married in October last year, we instantly fell in love with the venue. On the day of our wedding the grass had just been freshly mowed that week so was lovely & green made our wedding video & pictures gorgeous. We had a lovely day was extremely hot however when our hamper basket arrived to the bridal party we had wine glasses however no bottle of wine. My sister (maid of honour) left getting photos with us to walk all the way to the top of the venue to ask for some water & the bottle of wine to be sent down (speaking to the staff at the bar) 30 mins passes nowbody brought anything down to us. The meat on the night was nice & tender however during our meetings prior to the big day we had organised to have games on the lawn for everyone with the cheeseboards while we got photos after the ceremony unfortunately we found out a week later by family that no games got set up at all. This was discussed on our final meeting and was confirmed. All in all the room was set up beautiful irioned table cloths, clean plate’s & cutlery. Staff always so helpful to all family throughout the night so we couldn’t ask for more in that way. I would like to thank Kylie & Erin for creating a day we will never forget. Unfortunately a few mistakes happened was a little saddening when so much goes into the planning process but I’m sure we will be back for Anniversary lunches from time to time. We had our joint 60th Birthday there last week. We had 100 guests, and they made it look easy. Everyone is still talking about the food and the wine.

LOVED our wine tasting experience here! Karen was so lovely and professional. Great vibe, amazing wine and we had so much fun taking photos in the beautiful surroundings and vineyards. Oh! And they do a brilliant espresso martini, if you want a change from wine :) we will be back to spend a whole day here

Great location, nice wine and friendly staff. Unfortunately it was the food that let them down, which is why we were there. Steak tasted like it was cooked from frozen and oddly seasoned. Fondue was watery, can't tell you why, it was just weird. Crab cake was just fishy and boring. Tbh the best thing was the chips. Overall it was very disappointing 😞

Bit of a let down. Food was over priced, kitchen under delivered. I got what i ordered, a medium rare steak... thats basically it. Over $40. The sparkling shiraz was a winner. I drank plenty during the what seemed to be an endless wait for the food.
