Wonderful experience at Thai Emperor. We always get greeted very shortly after entering the restaurant, owners are very friendly. Must try their chicken satay, seafood tomyum, cashew nut chicken, padthai, and roast duck. Always delicious,highly recommend.

Today, My husband and I moved in Augustine heights and chose Thai Emperor. This choice was right. Best and amazing food! Kind service and always with a smile and friendly. Thank you very much Jimmy & Jill 👍 I will definitely come again.

With the typical Thai hospitality from the owners this is by far the next best thing to going to Thailand. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. Never been disappointed. We pickup and dine-in often and can safely say this is the best Thai restaurant in Springfield. Large potions and good flavour. You wont be disappointed, highly recommended

Best Thai food I've ever had. We had all our family over and they never disappoint. Food is always on time, food is delicious and the owner is the most amazing person, I have ever met. 12/10 I recommend this place to everyone, specially the people who haven't tried them yet.

My family has been going here since it opened around 20 years ago. The host Jimmy is a character that every regular gets to know for his excellent sense of humour and hospitality. His wife is very much the same. Every dish here is excellent but the roast duck is so delicious that I refuse to order it anywhere else. I couldn't recommend it more.

Great customer service, reasonably priced food and tasted delicious. Pictured is the slow cooked Beef Massaman Curry on Coconut Rice with Curry Puffs on the side. The curry was tender and the rice was cooked in coconut milk. The Curry Puffs were crispy and soft, accompanied by sweet chilli sauce. Would recommend to anyone looking for great Thai food.

The food was actually pretty good and decent especially the softshell crab. The coconut rice feels unique, but a bit too soupy / too moist for my liking. However was a bit disappointed with the service as it took about 1 hour for the food to come, wait staff was interrupting dining experience and not respectful - was fixing their shoelace while putting other’s table order sheet in ours when we’re in the middle of consuming my dinner. Cashier was a bit rude and miscalculated our bill and overcharged us about $3. Owner was trying to be friendly but end up too serious. Price is slightly cheaper for takeaway rather than dine in. So might be good for takeaways

Thai Emperor - Hands down the best in the business if I could give more stars I would!. Have been coming to this restaurant for many years now. A family run business in Brookwater/Augustine Heights. They have always welcomed us in and prepared the most mouth watering meals. Could not recommend this restaurant enough. Always leave satisfied with food and customer service. Tonight was my first night eating here, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the wait staff were lovely. They were very informative about their 10% increase in prices and were very polite when explaining the wait as it was very busy. The owners Jimmy and Jill are lovely people who employee incredible wait staff. The food was worth the wait and was 6/5 stars. The hospitality was through the roof amazing. I would recommend to everyone to eat at Thai emperor.

Its called a crying tiger beed salad because it actually makes tigers cry!!!! Decided to try another thai place in the area as the one I normally go to has lowered in quality. Order crying tiger beef, satay chicken, panda chicken, a pad seew and 2 curries. The tiger beef wasn’t even grilled.. it looked more like boiled beef with some sauce. Satay and pandan chicken were totally underwhelming. When biting into the satay chicken it was totally white and unseasoned, and just drizzled with some sauce. Pandan chicken was barely better. The curries smelt great however that’s where they ended. Green curry was flooded with coconut cream, and the massamun curry was like a soup?? I have never ever had soupy massamun before.. it tasted ok but that was after lying to myself thinking maybe this is how it should taste. WRONG I have worked in many Thai restaurants when I was in my teenage years, as well as travelled to all parts of SE asian. Pad seew was the only “okay” dish unfortunately. Was quite a sad experience. Customer service was great though, thus the 2 stars. I refuse to believe that this place has a score of 4.7.

The Thai emperor is without a doubt the best Thai in Brisbane! Every time we eat there, the food is perfect. The service is perfect. Can’t fault it at all!

Got Red Curry, Green Curry, Pad Thai, Fried Rice from here last night. Food was delicious! Freshly made and hot. The place was had a great vibe and friendly staff, quick 10 minute service, perfect if you’re starving. If you like Thai food this place is a must!

Good, small Thai kitchen. Make all of your thai favourites with plentiful portions that will see you taking the extra home for lunch the next day. It is located in a shopping strip but does well with the limited space to provide a comfortable and quite atmosphere. If you are looking for a good local Thai Restaurant for Dining in or Taking Out, this would be my suggestion.

We have been coming to Thai emperor since the week it opened, we still go once every couple of weeks as the food quality, service and atmosphere is second to none! We have eaten in Thai Restaurants all over Australia and Asia including many visits to Thailand. Their food freshness and flavour is the best we have ever had anywhere in our travels, the consistency is outstanding in probably 200 or more visits we have never ever had a bad meal. The service is Fast and the staff are all lovely, both the owners are locals and are in the restaurant every day making sure the service and standards are kept first class! We never go to other Thai restaurants anymore as we are always disappointed. For the best Thai food you will ever eat, and the best service you will ever get Try Thai Emperor! You won’t be disappointed.

Best Thai food I have experienced so far. Quality is just on another level. Service was amazing too and Jimmy (the owner) is an absolute lad and makes your visit special. Glad I found a local Thai for my regular 🙂☺️

They had great attention to detail. We were here for a birthday. They brought out a complementary dessert. They were incredibly friendly. Will definitely be back

We don’t get take away very often, it’s a huge treat. So two meals for $66 is expensive for us. My pad-se-ew was tasteless. Some veg was cooked, other raw. The wrong noodles were used (don’t say thick noodles on your menu then done serve them). The tofu was very very tasteless. My husbands meals was just as bland. I can’t believe I spend $66 on some we can’t eat. Yuk!!!! Totally never ordering again. Like ever.

Best Thai Restaurant!! We have become regular customers and Thai Emperor never disappoint. The customer service is amazing, owners & all staff are so friendly and welcoming all the time. All dishes are to die for and the food is always on time with reasonable prices. 100% would highly recommend and would give more stars if I could!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! My Wife and I dined in last night and absolutely loved every dish. The chefs special of stir fried satay vegetables and prawns along with coconut rice was amazing. From starters to dessert did not disappoint. Staff are extremely welcoming and ensure all your needs are meet. I was referred here by a few people so I thought I would try it out tonight with a group of friends. Tonight I celebrated my birthday here and the experience from the booking through to walking out with an extremely full belly was nothing but A+. The food is amazing. Excellent prices. The staff are beyond friendly and helpful and were really attentive. The portions are big! The freshness just bursts in your mouth. I look forward to returning very soon. I am making this thai restaurant my first go to. Thank you for making my night that extra special by singing me happy birthday and bringing me birthday dessert. What a treat and truly a wonderful gesture.

Came here on a recommendation and I am so glad I did. The owners were beyond welcoming and I felt like I was a friend and regular within minutes. Them operating the restaurant for 15 years is no surprise and it was comfortably busy. The food was fabulous - the duck was tender with crisp skin and stir fry was a huge portion packed with veg. The bowls of chilli dipping sauce were welcome and added wonderfully to the depth of flavours... especially if you like to spice things up. I only wish I was local and could keep going back.

We had a great night at the Thai Emperor restaurant. The food was great. I ordered a green vegetable curry and asked for it to be “Thai spicy” and they did not disappoint, it was perfect. The flavours were amazing. We will be back for sure! Huge amounts of people were coming in to get take away meals as well, so it must be well known by the locals.

The staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. The Thai Green curry was so good, I just wanted to drink the sauce. The satay chicken was the best I've had apart from actually in Thailand!!

Great meals, Warm and friendly hosts, you know the food is going to be delicious when the restaurant is always busy. Jimmy’s specials are amazing, his salt ‘n’ pepper soft shell crab is the best I’ve had anywhere. Perfect blend of texture and flavours, like a party in your mouth. Highly recommended for dine in. I have my favourites for takeaway too. Can’t wait to go back :-)

Staff and service were exceptional. The food was some of the best Thai that I have eaten. Jill and Jimmy your hosts will keep you well fed, lubricated and entertained. A great little restaurant that offers authentic flavours. Not cheap but definitely worth it. Able to cater to couples or large groups. Suggest you book ahead to avoid disappointment.
