This can be accessed from Angelica Ave Springfield Lakes (Grech Park) much easier than driving around to Warbler Cr Greenbank. Its a 10km return hike from both locations to the top of Spring Mountain. If doing the White Rock & Spring Mountain circuit its 19km return from School Rd carpark . There are also some cool caves , a track off to the left on your way to Spring Mountain with views to the south. Follow the ridge line , with some rock scrambling down you can see some great little caves & rock formations.

Good to short hiking in Springfield Mountain Forest, Brisbane QLD. Very quite, peace but disappointed I think very difficult to find out any animals or birds watching in my whole hiking time.

After what was going to be a great 19 km walk , was totally turned into something horrific... the signs were not precise and ended up doing 30 kms. We started at 8am and finished at 3pm ..7 hard going hours and only limited water for about 4 hrs and that we thought was ample. Will definitely not be doing that trek again. So shame on you Ipswich Council get the signs fixed .

Excellent trails, birds watching, very convenient to reach, close to Brisbane. You can part your vehicle on Dublin street and simply walk-in to the Bushland. #hiking, #springmountain, #nature

Twice I tried to find the main starting point & failed! The website takes you to Logan council for the Spring Mountain Reserve & NOT Spring Mountain Forest Park. The park looks beautiful from the pictures but finding it?!?!

Lots of different trails to take. Best for sure footed people as the paths are quite rocky. Paths are reasonably well marked. We took a photo of the map at the start of our hike also. The views are mostly obscured by trees but we were there primarily for exercise so not too bothered by that.

This is a pretty good park for a hike. Only basic signage and only for some of the trails. It looks like it will be developed further in the future. Lots of horse hoove prints so it must be good for riding too.

Great place for remote and rugged yet intermediate walks. The area is a caldera with many small peaks and a mix of fire trails and footpads. The stand out is Spring Mountain which is a nice scramble to get up to. There is a beacon and a few transmitters up there. Great walk.

A nice, easy walk with wide tracks. The track is well managed and I had Vodafone reception the whole time. Take plenty of water, as there's none there and it's very dry.

Fantastic to walk there. Unfortunately no proper maps available and the walks are not all clear signed ๐Ÿ˜• Motorbiker has attacked me once and my dog, now I am a bit scared to go on my own.

Nice area to explore and enjoy, I was there to help for a horse riding endurance event so I didn't get to explore lots, I'd love to take my bmx down and explore a bit more

If you like a good bushelling this is a pretty good place to go. Range of walk lengths and difficulties. Good views from the big rock outcrops

Ah...the serenity. A nice trail that gets you from Spring Mountain to Springfield Central. The walking trail can get a bit rutted out if there's been any recent rain, but it's still a fairly easy walk.

A nice area for walking, mtb or horse riding. Combination of fire trails and single-track that goes for as long (head out to White Rock) or as short as you want. Detailed map of the tracks is located off Thornbill Drv, but thereโ€™s practically no parking space, or amenities. If youโ€™re attentive, thereโ€™s glimpses of the CBD and Ipswich from certain trails.

Was a great place for a walk, not enough signage on tracks let you know where you are, would be easy to get lost

This is not a tourist destination! Itโ€™s on the outskirts of all the Springfield developments going on at present. It has no trails as such and actually has wildlife, u like other tourist trails. Hiking wear is a must. Itโ€™s a bit hard to access as there arenโ€™t too many parking opportunities, let alone car parks, bbq pits , toilets ect , so park up somewhere safe and just walk in. Personally I loved walking round here and itโ€™s been one of my fav walks in a while. Would highly recommend for real hikers! Iโ€™ve attached a photo of the handy map I found with all the trails.
