I went here at about 3:30 this afternoon to buy some glasses. I saw an Asian woman, her name was Amy, and she was serving customers. I was waiting for her, and I asked her, can I have a look at my glasses first? She said yes, and I waited for her there. Later, another customer came in. After she finished her work, I asked her to come and take the glasses for me to see. Her attitude was very bad and impolite, and she told me to wait, and then she went to serve another customer. The guest told her that I was the first and asked her to serve me first. She said to the guest, let me wait and she would serve him first. She is really rude and discriminating against customers. I advise people to stop going to this optician shop. It was a very bad experience. If I could give you zero stars, I would give you zero stars.

The reception lady that I spoke to in the afternoon on 8/2/2022 is extremely rude and unhelpful. I rang the store that day trying to make an appointment with the optometrist whom I saw the week before to clarify some issues she mentioned about my eyes during the pervious visit as well as getting a referral to see an eye specialist. The receptionist refused to book me in but yelled at me, demanding me to reveal the issues to her instead. I refused to do so, she was unhappy and quickly hang up on me. Overall, staff are unhelpful too. I will not recommend this store to anyone who is looking for a good service

Great professional staff. I saw a lovely optometrist named Grace. She really took her time testing my eyes and talking to me. Made me feel valued and not like she was just going through a routine she had to do. The best opsm I have gone to. Highly recommend above others. I have been to other branches where they keep adding things on to make money and prescription is wrong and then they don’t want to correct it.

I visited this shop for a standard eyesight test. Despite a poor phone connection, Amy was kind and helpful over the phone when I was making my booking. Grace was my optometrist. She was patient with me and a real pleasure to talk to. Maybe I ought to misplace my prescription so I have a reason to visit again. :)

I have been coming to OPSM first at Sunnybank and then at Browns Plains for over 35 years purchasing numerous prescription glasses and sunglasses and regular contact lenses for last 30 years. At least 30 of those years with the Sunnybank store. Despite finding them more expensive I have remained loyal. Today I approached both stores politely requesting a squeeze in appointment due to having a contact stuck under an eye lid, leading to a very uncomfortable red aggravated and thick gooey sticky discharging eye and was told there was no appointments free as back to back appointments but they could fit me in tomorrow afternoon as it is near the end of the year and everyone is rushing to do eye checkups. I did not expect an immediate appointment but expected some assistance with trying to get a reasonable time. In my opinion this is highly inappropriate of a medical service from a medical perspective and very very poor customer service. I went to SPECSAVERS and asked them and they got an optometrist to see me straight away. Within a few minutes, the lovely optometrist had thoroughly checked the eye, found the folded contact, inverted the eyelid and removed the contact, placed a dye in and checked my eye for damage to cornea, all good, gave me eyelid cleaners and recommended me drops and other treatment. Service was efficient and very professional. Contact out and now it can recover. Until now I had only ever been to OPSM. Now I will NEVER go to OPSM for any more eye care. Opsm eye care - what eye care? They are happy to let you sit with a uncomfortable pus discharging eye rather than find a couple of minutes to help you. Very dissapointing by both OPSM Stores.
