(Translated by Google) Recommended. You cannot miss a visit to the Muelas de Tordesillas winery. €8 per person to visit the underground cellars with tasting. If you don't want a tasting, you can enjoy the visit and take a bottle of white or rosé wine with you. Family wineries since the 19th century, created with love and enthusiasm, you just have to listen to the sommelier to soak up that way of enjoying, and experience the creation of that grape elixir, which gives you back your youth. Enjoy seeing those bottles and barrels in a religious order, silent but with greatness inside. Then you can take a selection of their wines. The vermouth is also a novelty, not as sweet as the usual ones. Both the Sommelier and the Winemaker exude friendliness. (Original) Recomendado.

We enjoyed a guided tour of the subterranean levels of this bodega. The only tour that suited our schedule was in Spanish. We gave it a go and understood quite a bit. There were 15 on the tour. To finish we were presented with 4 of their wines : 1) a Dry white 2) A relatively young red (2017) 3) An older red (2008) 4) A sweet white (moscatel) with some local cheese and a couple of sweet biscuits. A tasting and discussion of the different wines was very interesting. We sampled and bought a bottle of their vermouth, which is now my firm favourite. Distinctly less sweet than other Spanish vermuts I have tried. I really enjoyed the 2017 (see photo of label)

Make sure to stop by when you´re around Tordesillas. Beside great wines which have been awarded multiple times, they also offer an impressive tour through their wine cellar several meters below the ground with a tasting afterwards. The staff or better said the family which runs the winery is very kind and authentic.

Stupendo! A wonderful tour of the cellars, which date back centuries, and wine tasting. This is a family run business and the last remaining one in the town.

Outstanding experience with the special tasting: an excellent, fascinating, detailed and enthusiastically presented guide by a member of the family around the cellars, the history of local viticulture and then the actual tasting of the wines. Thoroughly recommended to anyone with an interest in wine.

A must visit! Very traditional winery led by two friendly and young ladies. For a small price you can have a tour of the only active cellar in Tordesillas and taste the wines. Highly recommended!

We have just spent a very enjoyable couple of hours visiting this unique bodega with its cellars, going down metres, carved into the rock beneath the shop. The tour was in English by one of the family who still own and run the business. All topped off by wine tasting and cheese - delicious. Would highly recommend.

(Translated by Google) An essential stop in the visit to Tordesillas, they guide through the small but interesting centenary caves that the establishment has in the heart of the town, explaining with enthusiasm and passion the origin of the family winery, as well as similar caves in the Tordesilla subsoil. . The tasting is a highly recommended opportunity to try several of their wines, and it will surely give you the opportunity, like us, to buy some of them in their store, with an excellent value for money.

(Translated by Google) Spectacular underground cellar, familiar for several generations. Highly recommended the "essential visit with an aperitif". La Reyes explained to us very well how they take care of and work the wines (the wide range of wines they have) and with the aperitif we were able to taste and check the quality of both their wines and other products from the area. It is obviously impossible to get out of there without at least a couple of bottles of wine 😄. A must visit!

(Translated by Google) Simplicity, passion and professionalism. It has been a wonderful experience to learn from Quintín, who was passing by, from Helena and Reyes some of the secrets contained in the wines of the Muelas winery. A trip to one of the many underground galleries that exist in Tordesillas converted into wineries. It is a beautiful space not only because of its age but also because the passion and care with which different generations have created these wines that are pleasant to the palate are imprinted within its walls. We congratulate Quintín and his two daughters for maintaining this way of treating wine and we thank them for having shared a little of their experience and knowledge with us.
