I wanted to let y'all know that I just did a little shopping in your Joplin store and it's such an underrated gem here in town. I'm so glad to have it close by and not have to go to Webb City to do shopping and get such wonderful service. A gentleman by the name of Mark helped me out with testing a little light cable for part of my Christmas village helped us resolve the problem. Absolutely fantastic folks who know customer service! I really wish more people in Joplin would put some foot traffic in this store because it is absolutely fantastic.

Always helpful staff just as soon as you walk in. Ready to help you find what you need. Very good selection of items. It is slightly more expensive than the chain stores, BUT it is well worth it with great customer service. Do not forget to ask if they have something you don't see. They have storage outside and stock more things like bag concrete, and many more things concrete is what I needed at the time. They have a nice service counter in the back for cutting keys and other things.

First, everything is over priced especially nuts, bolts and screws. The good thing is they have a pretty good selection of oddities that you won't find anywhere else. BE SURE TO WATCH YOUR CHANGE IF YOU PAY IN CASH. The cashiers can't do simple math and will short change you. Whether its stupidity or intentional. Even when called on it, it takes 3 of them to get it right. Forget getting keys cut there. They have 3-4 nice key machines but they won't make you a copy of a car key unless you buy their chipped key. Even though you only need a spare to open the door 8n case you lock your keys 9n the car. They also wont trace your key to another one of your keys. You have to buy theres with a chip in it! The whole problem I had was a cheap key like theirs had the chip die. Common issue on non-factory keys. I had a programmed key I just needed it cut to my working key. They wouldnt do it. They are my last resort and 50% of the time, they either won't help or they have no clue what they're doing. Most of the time the sales person just annoys me and I leave.

I always have a great experience at Ace hardware. Everyone knows exactly where to direct me to help me find exactly what I need. Morgan was especially helpful today.

Only go to get exactly what you need. Don't look around unless you want to be asked by every single associate if you need help. It's nice to be asked but to be hounded by everyone is a bit much. Store wasn't busy so you know they heard the others asking and me saying no thanks just looking. I wasn't trashy looking and no big bags to think I was stealing.

The staff is awesome. They know exactly where everything in the store is. Friendly greeting just all around the best

We went in for grilling supplies. We were met at the door with a helpful associate. We were able to find what we needed and received advice on using things. At the register, the associate helped me download the app and save $5 on my purchase.
