This facility does not take proper care of their patients. The patients don’t have access to the restroom due to a water leak. The solution to the water leak was to place blankets over it. My family member recently had surgery and can barely walk. They are risking an injury by forcing him to walk over soaking wet blankets. Their emergency buttons are not functioning so they place plastic bags in them. My family member has to call 911 from their phone just to get assistance. These issues need to be addressed.

I would it known that Jane has been so helpful to my grandfather. Because of Jane my grandfather is recovering very quickly. She has shown such compassion and patience in treating my grandfather. It is important for your organization to know how vital it is to have somebody like her on your staff.

They don't care about the patients. They just give my Dad a 10 minutes therapy at day, the rest of the day he stay on bed. They don't give him his medication on time, they never answer when the patient is calling, room isn't clean, they don't change the sheets. Isn't helpful. They just care about the money.

I want to commend the CNA or nurses who took care of my husband's discharge,Jane was so efficient in gathering all his belongings I couldn't believe how fast she was. Also the discharge nurse thorough explained all his medications . Great team that day.

This is a great facility! The nurses put so much love and care into their work. They treat the patients like family and truly want what is best for the patients. Throughout the pandemic they took extra care to ensure patient’s health and safety. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for short term or long term care.

I’ve been to other places and this is the best. Each day Jane comes to my room and makes me clean and comfortable. She tries to take care of my needs. Thank you Brookside for having such a wonderful and efficient employee such as Jane because she helps make your place special.

This place is a NIGHTMARE!! PLEASE RECONSIDER BEFORE SENDING LOVED ONES HERE My aunt is terminally ill, with several tumors along her spine. She is staying at this center for her last days, and is in severe pain and discomfort. When visiting her, I noticed that the nurses were late to give her her pain meds repeatedly throughout the day And on top of that, she was told by one of their staff that they were kicking her out because she is not getting better. With no plan of action or solution, she is being sent home TODAY. There has been less than 24 hours notice for her to find skilled nursing for home. She can't even stand, she is in so much pain. Oh, not to mention my aunt's hospital roommate tested positive for COVID, but they're still sending her out to spread the virus among her family (including her husband who is on dialysis). This center is a disgrace and should be shut down.

My husband Ron Hawkins is a patient needing rehab at Brookside. I think the staff are just wonderful, very caring, very helpful. Jane is the best! I didn’t get the name of the other CNA who works on Sunday. She’s also very sweet and caring. The nurses, physical therapists and maintenance are wonderful! Thank you all very much!

My mom was in there about a week and a half.when she first got there, about the first 2days the service was good.after that they weren't giving her the medications she was supposed to be taking.she wasnt able to make it to the restroom on her own, after she soiled herself they would leave her in it for as much as four hours.she didn't have a UTI when she went in but has one now.if you have a loved one you care about don't bring them here

Jane always goes out of her way to help me no matter what I need. I appreciate her smile and happy mood. I think she's an excellent CNA.

I was at Brookside for over a month. The facility is very clean but could use more staff. But I guess that’s at every facility. I wanted thought to give a BIG shoutout to three of the CNA’S that went above and beyond to help you. My morning cna was Jane. She made sure after breakfast you got to brush your teeth, wash your face, and a clean gown. She works very hard and was very responsive to seeing the call light and then being right there asap to see what you needed. She was AMAZING!!! At night I had two CNA’S that were such a help to me as well. I need to give a special thank you to two SPECIAL ladies that work so hard. That’s Sarah and Sydney!!! They also responded to your call light so quickly. If you had a question and needed an answer they would get that for you. They made you feel like family not just another patient. You three ladies I will always remember and hold a special place in my ❤️. Brookside is very lucky to have the three of you at their facility. They deserve so much praise!!!! Sincerely Linda Hammonds

Shout out to Theresa,Jocelyn, Ashley and Perry? Tall pretty black lady with ball cap large earrings. All the staff were very helpful and carring. The facility understaffed, so light buttons overlooked or a late response. Place clean .physical therapy people all very nice and helpful. I learned a lot from these kind professionals. To help me move safely. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a good place to recover.

Physical Therapist are excellent. Management of Nedical Staff is very poor. Most of the food is awful I was in 3 room when I should of be in a 2 room. Very poor intake management. Also when my roommate and I asked for Jane to help us they took her away from us., Dr. Pai did not help me at all.

5 stars for Jane, the CNA. She is so caring, kind, and considerate. Always taking the best care of her patients. My mom was very well taken care of by Jane. We couldn't have asked for a better person to care for our mom! Thank you Jane!! We will miss her dearly when mom goes home.

Terrible place to be sent to. They ignore you, they do NOT properly care for the needs of the patients that are sent there. You end up being on your own. Also would like to add that the administrator Rachelle is extremely hands off and is never at here desk and never returns phone calls no matter how urgent the issue is.

I’m going to keep it short and sweet: Horrible staff arguing in front of patients, very disorganized facility, they only have one RN for 10 patients, this place it’s a nightmare 3 patients per room with no sunlight. Please don’t bring your loved ones here my grandmother got very depressed and her condition got worse :(

I’ve been at brookside since the end of January and have had my ups and downs with treatments and nurses. But i am so, so grateful for a CNA named Jane who is always there to give her patients a laugh, or a shoulder to lean on. It’s hard when you are in pain and stuck in here but having someone like Jane around is one of the best ingredients for recovery. Her kindness, compassion, and empathy help us all. Most importantly she knows how to sit back and listen and sometimes that’s what we need the most. The girls from physical therapy are great. They know how to push but not too much and when to give you space when you need it. This is the 3rd place I’ve been in since December and in terms of kindness and compassion, it is absolutely the best. And I will be forever grateful for the CNA Jane, for making me smile on my lowest of days and letting me cry when I needed it. Nursing is a hard job and because we feel bad we often lash out at the hospital support staff even though it’s not their fault and they’re just trying to help. Cut them some slack. They deserve the best for helping us through our worst moments.

This place shouldn’t be aloud to be operating. My grandmother was sent there to recover as soonest we arrived the two nurses started arguing in front of us because they didn’t know what to do with my grandma! The next I arrived at 10 am to visit my grandma no medicine was given to her she is diabetic and has hypertension. That same day we witnessed a patient calling the nurses and no one came until 30 minutes later. I took my grandma home with me that same day!

My experience was not good. Patient went in to recover from a simple broken hip. Recieved no therapy and resisted all family attempts to get her out until threatened with APS. Told the family that nothing could be done to arrange for care until after her discharge at which point learned it was their social workers job to arrange. Couldnt even send patient home with the diapers left in the open pack. So patient went home with no supplies, no care and if they tell you they follow each patients diet restrictions, they're lying there too. They will be nice to your face claiming they care and call members of your family trying to start conflict so they can keep that person in a little room with 3 other people providing bare minimum.

Every time I call to find out about my dad, no one answers the phone. When I did pickup my dad from the facility to go home, most of his clothes were nowhere to be found. He was released without most of his clothes that were ALL labeled AND NO SHOES! I was assured someone would be contacting me the next day about his missing clothes but 2 days later NO call. I tried calling 2 x again today but the first call went unanswered and the second call I asked to be transferred to someone in admin. I only got a message no one was available to take my call. Still waiting for a return call.

When you looks at the website. Why are only the few good reviews listed. Please continue to read reviews. This place is a nightmare. Don't UT anyone in there that your care about. It does not deserve a star at all. I just needed to post this review.

Very nice people work at Brookside. I can't even list all of their names. Jane is a very caring hard-working nurse that I will always remember. Thank you Brookside for taking such good care of me. Diana

The staff at Brookside were wonderful. My favorite was Dr. Pai and his assistant Natalie. They took so much time and care with our dad and made sure he was on the right track to recovery, even after he left skilled nursing. Thank you for your compassion, we will never forget you.

I am writing to thank the staff at Brookside for taking such great care of my mother Diana S. who has been in their care for over a month. Her physical therapy is progressing nicely and all of her medication has been regulated. A special thanks to nurse Jane who my mom raves about. A special thank you for taking such extraordinary care of her as I'm sure you do all of you patients.
