First thing I would like to rave about is the SERVICE! The service was excellent, friendly, attentive and even the owner came around and asked how we were doing. We were a table of 9 including 4 kids and a baby so not a easy table to keep entertained. Food came out quickly and was outstanding! I had the Holly Berry French toast and it was the best French toast I've had for a long time. Not soggy and the berries were fresh. My husband got the Greek omelet and he enjoyed that as well. We traveled 45 minutes to try this restaurant and meet friends and it did not disappoint. We will definitely try this restaurant again when in the area.

What a Great place for Breakfast/Lunch. Was greeted by warm staff from hostess to waitress. And love the way they do thier menu. You will noticed movie references. I got The Boonedock Skillet with potatoe pancakes. I already knew of place because of thier famous Apple pancake (45 min wait). Glad I tried something new.

We had our 1st visit to the baked apple. A small wait, great service, great food! Every employee encounter was very pleasant! The company french toast was GOOD! Nice and filling. Only minus is it doesn't come with any sizes, everything is a la carte

It was my first time trying this place. It lives up to the wonderful reviews. The food was delicious. It's good quality. The service was excellent. Marisa was our server. She was great. The atmosphere was really relaxed. We also got sat right away. Pricing was decent for the amount of food we received. I'll definitely be back again.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Cozy setting with a warm local feeling. The waitress I had was perfect, my coffee cup was never less than half. The food was delicious, (The Company French Toast) the portions listed are perfect, no need for add-ons (although I did and over ate). I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Best place around, I eat here 2-3times a week for lunch and have had pretty much everything on the menu. Food portions are always more than fair and are of high quality. The staff is the best, I don’t think they could be rude or less wholesome even on a bad day. My suggestions would be “The Big Kahuna“ and “The Ruben” but everything else is just as good. Probably the only place I could say is a safe bet to try, can’t go wrong here.

This was one of my favorite places to eat breakfast in DG. Parking wasn’t difficult but it can get busy at times on Sundays. The wait time wasn’t too long for a party of two. Prices were moderate but you get a very generous amount of food. Service was very attentive. -Company French toast 5/5 -Breakfast tacos 5/5 -Baked apple pancake 5/5 - well worth the wait. Warm and apples were cooked to perfection

I was shown this place years ago (like 2018) and haven't been back since due to work schedule. Decided I wanted to go back and give it a try again. We met there for a quick small family breakfast. Even though it was busy, the staff was fast on service, extremely polite, you could still have a conversation at a respectable level. They had the game on, bathrooms were well kept. Food was great! Absolutely going back

I am vegan and is only speaking on trying a meal since it’s so rare temporarily to find restaurants that can appreciate the vegan lifestyle. We care about what we put in our bodies. Tried the Beyond Burger, and of course this isn’t a vegan restaurant and I have been to others in the same instance and they have accommodated me well enough to have a pleasant experience. The burger was mediocre lacked flavor.

Thought we'd try The Baked Apple as they are always crowded when we pass by. Last time we are here was during COVID, outside at picnic tables. The interior was more updated and current than I imagined, but there isn't any real ambiance as it's a very large, open dining room filled with tables and chairs. Nothing to write home about. Our server was excellent, friendly and very attentive. Food options were numerous for breakfast and lunch. We ordered a Veggie Skillet with turkey sausage-very nice presentation in a silver bowl (not skillet) but the flavor was very bland. Hash browns were not crisped, kind of soft and blended in with the slightly soggy veggies. Seemed veggies may have been frozen vs fresh. Sunny side up eggs were a bit rubbery. Breaded steak sandwich- my husband comment was, "this is different" it had giardinara on it and it was very spicy hot. Definitely popular with the seniors in there community. Glad for that.

First time being at the baked apple and the food was delicious yet plenty of food I had the Jethro skillet which has eggs sausage biscuit and gravy and hash browns which is very delicious

They're definitely known for their dessert style breakfast of various indulgent pancakes ! Cream cheese frosting with delightful spices. Their scramblers were very tasty as well !

So happy we found this place on Google. The service was phenomenal! They always made sure we were good. G Hot syrup, cinnamon raisin, red velvet pancakes. Our waitress Jenny was friendly as well. Prices are affordable too!

I got The Ex which is a fried monte cristo sandwich. Very delicious with the fries. Very friendly service and my food came in prompt after I ordered online on their website. Can't wait to try their breakfast menu. Update I got the My Cousin Vinny Omelette which is mixed in with Italian sausage, red peppers and googey melted mozarella. Oh so good

Being from out of town, looking for a great place for breakfast can be tough. But look no further, this place has a great atmosphere and amazing home cooked food. The staff was great and helpful. Being seated by "mom" was a little bit of home vibe, and it felt like we never left home. The wait was a tad bit but worth the wait.

My husband and I tried this place many times. Every time we leave with a happy stomach and happier heart. The food is great and the service and the hospitality of its owner, are even greater. They treat you like a family. I recommend this breakfast place highly. Five stars for sure.

Nice breakfast and lunch place in westmont. I liked the panini with avocados and veggies. Coffee was ok. Lots of seating space. When we went there were not too many people and we could just hang out there for a while. Lots of parking space. I wish they could put a sign towards the road in Ogden, otherwise the place sneaks up on you and you don't have time to pull into the parking lot.

So I had a great overall experience at this place. On a Saturday morning I went to the dealership to get my car looked at. I called and asked about the wait and asked the young lady at the front desk if I could add my name to the list even though I wasn’t there since I was unerring from the dealership. I had a special circumstance and she accommodated me. I was a little late (mostly because they moved so fast lol) but the little older lady at the front was so sweet and got me seated. I got water literally as soon as I sat down. The waitress helped me choose a meal and came by frequently to check in. The managers were active and bringing out food and asking if all was well. The food was great! The pictures don’t lie. Overall, I love spending my money at places like this! Definitely a place to visit.

Stuffed French toast was delicious, our waiter Diane was engaging and we appreciated her service. Highly recommend getting the hash browns with blended jack cheese Edit: Got the company waffles and it was a little on the dry side but the hash browns were delicious as always

The food and service were very good. The owner came out and spoke with us, and made sure we were enjoying our meal. I didn't get his name, but he was very nice and friendly. Made us want to come back again.

Firdt time here and will come back when in town. The kids chocolate chip pancakes were great according to my granddaughter. I had the gyro wrap and I recommend it for those looking for good gyro. The service was super and the food came out hot and fast. If you haven't been you need to come.

First Time here. I Ordered the Baked Apple Pancake. Gave it 4 stars not 5. Tasty but way too sweet. First Time Trying it there. Omega's is Still the Best Baked Apple Pancake to me. I Haven't tried other Food there but what I Saw did look Delicious.

AMAZING gluten free options and overall delicious food. Staff was pleasant and friendly and this is definitely going to be our new go to breakfast place. Very hard to find a place with good gluten free pancakes and waffles but this place knows how to do gluten free in the best way. 10/10 recommend!

Best quality of food I've ever had! You get more than what you pay for. The only biscuits and gravy I've had where both the biscuits and gravy are good. I also got the baked apple French toast which was phenomenal! Just the right amount of cream cheese and and not too sweet. I highly recommend it. This restaurant is a must if you're in the area.

My wife and I were looking for somewhere not chain and American family style dining. We found this place and made it a point to stop. The staff was friendly and the food was extremely fresh and quick. Also the portions exceeded expectations and the price in no way broke the bank. We will definitely be returning when we visit Downers Grove again.
