This place discriminate!! I walked in and placed an order but decided to dine in so, I asked the person who took my order and he told me no dine in only orders to go( I am short staff) the place was empty….so I was asked to wait in my car for my order. While I waited a party of 4 Indians walked in and were welcomed inside and seated at a table. A waiter delivered my food to my car at which point I asked to speak to the person who took my order, he comes outside and I ask why the party of 4 was allowed to dine in? He says they had a reservation. So I asked why did he not mention a reservation was needed to dine in when I asked to dine in and tells me it is on their website and begins to apologize. All customers should be treated equal, I have never experienced something like this in any other restaurant Shame on you. By the way I did not like your food.

Their service and overall atmosphere were excellent. Unfortunately, the food tasted old and didn't look appealing. I ordered chicken Tikka, tandoori style, and it was evident it wasn't cooked fresh, which was quite disappointing. The naans were fresh but seemed overpriced.

Ordered in Uber eats Chicken Tikka Masala for pick up, When I received I didn't check because I was in a hurry. After opening the order, there was other food that I did not order, without Chicken Tikka Masala

Ordered food through the website, but the restaurant was closed when I got there, but tried again the next day. Employees were helpful on the phone with the missed order and later with the timing of pickup. Food came out hot and everything had good flavor.

We ordered a spicy dish, the chef came out to ask how spicy he should make the dish. he came back while we were eating to check on us; we felt like VIP'S with all the attention. the rest of the staff was just as attentive. The food was excellent. only issue for me was no refills on soda.

My daughter and I dined in last October and I have been craving it ever since! The food was delicious and we got rice with our entrees plus I ordered an extra rice because my husband loves rice! Everything was scrumptious! I ordered delivery thru GrubHub yesterday for dinner. I assumed we would receive rice with the FIVE entrees I ordered and, of course, an extra rice for hubby. WE GOT NO RICE! NONE! I ordered Tandoori chicken, aloo Mattar, bhindi Masada, 2 butter chicken, 2 garlic Naan, the potato cutlets and gulab juman. The gulab juman costs $6 and there were TWO swimmimg in the container! Tiny little ping pong size balls of dough are $3 EACH?? Sheesh! So I had to prepare rice before we could even eat. So disappointed as the food is so dang good! I am totally turned off however at the "cheesiness" of it all. Their prices are very high to begin with (again, its delicious!) and I expected rice with every entree but got none. The entrees were yummy as usual. Has any one else had this issue with the rice? Or 2 gulab juman for $6? I may just go back to India Palace...

WOW...the BEST!!! We've loved Saffron going back to the old location in Westmont days. Yesterday, I drove 40 minutes each way to pick up carryout. I am so happy to say that it was TOTALLY worth the drive!!! Everything was fantastic...from the dal makhani to the saag paneer! My only suggestion is to open up another location around Westmont. We miss your amazing food! Wishing you the best for the New Year!

I ordered this place a couple of times on Uber Eats and it was very good, decided one day to order it and pick it up on my way home. I ordered directly from their website, there was an issue where they did not receive the order that came in from their website so it wasn't ready when I got there, so I recommend you order from Uber Eats or Doordash or something if you order take out. They were very apologetic though and I showed them what I ordered and they made it up really fast and offered me a discount for having to wait. Staff was very friendly and customer service was great, the food was also spectacular. I will be ordering from them again any time I want Indian food.

Some of the best Indian food I have had. So much flavor throughout all of the dishes. Not one of my dishes tasted bland or bad. Naan is cooked to perfection. The shrimp curry is out of this world!! Cannot wait to eat here again.

Taste wise food was nice. Certainly an option to consider if you don’t won’t to take a too much of risk trying new one. Safe bet!! I’ve gotta to try few more times…

I visited this restaurant back in 2019 and totally forgot how good it is. I was in a mood for Indian food and Saffron did NOT disappoint. Probably one of the best in Illinois. Plus the service was on point. Both employee were very friendly and welcoming. They even offer for me to stay in the car and they will bring my food out. Great experience. Let’s talk about the food. So fresh, high quality ingredients. Spices on point. The naan was amazing. Both the vegetable and chicken samosa were like an explosion of goodness in your mouth. I highly recommend this place.

Very very bland food. Biryani was tasteless and bland. Aloo paratha had almost no aloo. Chipotle was far better than this.

Tried to go to dinner walked in and waiter said no dine-in and we see people sitting and dining in. My little girls had to use the restrooms and he would let us use that either. So glad chipotle was next door. Will never get at this Indian place every again.

This restaurant serves delicious, beautifully presented food, and our party of three had no trouble getting seated as walk-ins. The dahi aloo poori was a standout, the korma sauce was mouthwatering, and the naan was perfection. Highly recommended!

we had saffron cater food for our wedding at greenhouse loft in Logan Square. We had a mix of Indian and American guests and everyone LOVED the food! The cocktail samosas were excellent, and our guests loved the bhuna gosht, the malai kofta and butter chicken. Even my aunt who travelled from Delhi said the lamb and chicken tasted just like the food back home. The logistics regarding ordering the food, making adjustments to the menu, the payment, and drop off went very smoothly. My partner and I tried multiple Indian restaurants in the chicago land area before picking saffron for our wedding, and we are so glad we did!

My self and my wife visited this restaurant along with my son and daughter who live here, we had travelled from india, it was indeed a very courteous staff and especially the owner very caring , he was very attentive regarding serving very delicious and tasty food . Honestly i have never ever experienced this kind tasty food and excellent hosting at any place in U.S. even in our home country. I would certainly recommend all indians visiting Chicago and neighbourhoods to visit this restaurant . I Really thank the owner for having hosted us in extremely friendly manner . This past Saturday we decided to get some curry for dinner, but the place that we wanted to go to was closed that evening for some reason. Not to deterred on our quest for curry we decided to go here. This was probably some of the best curry that I've had in a very long time. Dinner started with some veggie samosas, they came out hot and fresh with a nice flaky shell. One bite in and we were fans. Added some chutney and it was great. wonderful flavor, a hint of spice, great aroma. Dinner was malai kofta and dum aloo, with rice and naan. Everything was exceptional. In between bites we were telling each other how good everything was, how happy we were that we ended up coming here, and how we were going to make this place a regular destination. Now good food is one thing but with the variety of food options in the area the deciding factor is always service. Every single employee that we encountered there was super friendly. We didn't have to wait overly long for our food, the checks, or anything else. the restaurant was clean. great experience all around. If I had to give one bit of criticism, we would have preferred our food to be a bit spicier but we didn't order it as spicy. the default spice level was plenty flavorful with a hint of spice. So next trip we will ask them to kick it up a notch there.

Hello all this is a true and honest review for my last week of dinner at saffron Restaurant we ordered panner burji which was literally as same as panner butter masala and they both taste same no different just pieces of panner and scrambled panner it taste same and the mango lassi was sour and it was not like lassi not worth it waste of money. Also I didn’t feel like indian taste. I won’t recommend this restaurant at all.

We went this restaurant last week.So bad food. We asked for spicy food so they gave us soo spicy food without any taste other than spicy. No flavours. And we told them its so spicy we can’t eat it .our first dish was spicy so we asked to decrease the spicy level for next dish but they said we already gave order but they should have done something but didn’t do anything.I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. Such a garbage food.🤮
