😠 Center is clean. Intake process was efficient. Anesthesia providers were attentive and informative. But the post op nurse flat out refused to give me crutches. I had a meniscus repair and was told In advance that the center would provide them. I asked twice after surgery and she said no. Seriously... People often mention surgery, center, time, surgical,

Center is clean. Intake process was efficient. Anesthesia providers were attentive and informative. But the post op nurse flat out refused to give me crutches. I had a meniscus repair and was told In advance that the center would provide them. I asked twice after surgery and she said no. Seriously? Her response was that it wasn’t in the orders. I asked her to please ask my surgeon but she wouldn’t and she literally had the nerve to say “you don’t need them.” Really? She was so set getting me out of there. I guess she had Friday afternoon plans! I told her I needed a few minutes more to wake up from anesthesia and she said no, I needed to get up and go. Seriously unprofessional. In the end, yes, I did indeed need crutches, for two full weeks after surgery. Nurses should have your health, safety and comfort in mind and this one certainly did not.

I recently had knee surgery at Salt Creek in Westmont and was so pleased with the service I received. Due to other issues my surgery was rescheduled and Audry was so thoughtful, kind and understanding, she really made the experience as good as it could have been! Day of surgery everyone was so wonderful, I felt like they all cared and had my best interests in mind. I highly recommend Salt Creek for your outpatient surgery needs!

So my dad got a knee surgery, it was fast. Got frustrated when I learned he had to come home instead of staying and recovering. So I’m-experienced kid (basically me) having to take care of my father, In pain. It’s hard, watching him struggle because of the surgery. He shouldn’t have to come back without the doctor saying it’s time when it clearly wasn’t (this is coming from a 16 year old)

Is by far the worst surgical center I have ever waited and in my life. My significant other has had many procedures, in surgical centers. I have never been in a surgical center that did not let you wait with the patient once they had been prepped until surgery time, nor been anywhere where they would tell you nothing about what’s going on. I have repeatedly asked, is he in surgery, they will give you no answer. How is it going, I asked again no response. All the other surgical centers. I have been in both outpatient and inpatient. Have had monitors up letting you know the status. They’re in preop they’re in surgery, etc. ., They’re in recovery….this place tells you nothing leaves you to sit here and worry extensively because your given no information I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone.

Personally I would just avoid this place. Brought my husband here a few months back and when they told me to bring the car around when he was ready the tech or nurse literally just opened the door for him and let him walk out and down the sidewalk by himself in the dead of winter. He was stumbling, still pretty heavily coming out of anesthesia to the point where I had to jump out of the car quickly to help him because I was afraid he was going to fall. While the nurse or tech literally just stared at us through the door not even helping. Seems like they just throw you out the door and don’t really care. As first responders my husband and I did not appreciate this at all and would never do this to a patient. Didn’t have the best experience. Love his doctor though.

Surgery & Services rendered at this facility were great, however Sabrina in their billing department was the most unprofessional and disrespectful individual I have ever spoken to… I called asking about a bill and was met with extreme attitude and she threatened to hangup on me because I was asking for an ITEMIZED INVOICE for my surgery. Per the Fair Patient Billing Act(210 ILCS 88/), I am by law able to request an itemized invoice for any services rendered at a hospital or surgery center…

I had my surgery done today. At first I wasn't too happy about driving out my area. Than a friend told me I would like it there. She was so right. I loved everything about it. Walked in and out so fast. Very friendly people took great care of me. Usually I'm very nervous they did so good to help me feel comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Big thank you to my surgeon also great job😊

The service was great, quick and courteous. The billing department seriously lacks customer service skills. They tell you insurance didn’t cover to call with questions. I left 7 messages over 4 weeks since the message said they return calls within 24 hours. Finally get a call back today and the rep was rude and snarky.

The Salt Creek center is on time, fast, well organized and efficient, with a skilled staff. It is set up to get patients in and out safely and comfortably with minimal wait time. It is not a nursing facility so you will leave as soon as it is safe for you to go. Arrange for care and recovery at home. So nice to get a call from both the nurse and the doctor the next day. Had no problem parking at 7am but be aware that it will become limited later. Excellent experience with the center, its staff, and Dr. Ghodasra. Thank you everyone.

My son had a wrist surgery here. It was his second surgery and a bit of a scary experience for him to have to go through again. The staff were amazing at trying to distract him and keep him smiling and as comfortable as possible. One superstar nurse in particular! We were in and out in under 3 hours. While I know there is a necessity for outpatient hospital surgeries, when able, I would select this smaller surgery center any day over a local hospital!

You will get charged for your surgery twice. Once through them, and once through Hinsdale Orthopedics even though insurance gets billed once. Then a year and a half later they will try to charge you for a third time.

I want to thank the staff for an exceptional job on my hip surgery today. Everyone was very professional and polite from entry to post surgery. I could not have asked for better service. Thank you Dr. Pupalla. The best hip doctor around. Thumbs up guys.

Lot's of problems at this place. Was not our choice but where the surgeon decided to do the operation. No problem with the professional competence, although one of the prep nurses had no idea what she was doing - just reading instructions and looking all confused. Parking there is absolutely impossible. Had to park a block away on a snowy, slushy day, or turn your car over to a valet who'll take it to god-knows-where. Small waiting area is very noisy - babies screaming and a jerk yelling into his cell phone in some foreign language. It's a bit dirty, especially the one bathroom. Desk staff is off doing their thing somewhere. We were told to arrive at 2 and didn't get out till about 6. Surgery scheduled for 2:30 didn't happen till about 5:30. I had to spend 4 hours in their waiting room. Try to get your surgeon to operate elsewhere else.

Don't let the other reviews scare you. I just went here today for Laminectomy surgery and everyone here has been polite and respectful.
