One of the best place in terms of value for money I have ever found. Happiness guaranteed! The degustazione menu has really generous portions—skip lunch if you go for it! Gnocchi and manzo all’olio highly Recommended!

We are very happy we discovered this little gem in the hills. We were amazed by the food, the views and were led through the menu by attentive and professional service staff. Most of the ingredients come from the area, some from the own garden, fermentation is done in house leading to creative and delicious courses. We went for the ten course menu (the beef fillet and the pasta in pear sauce were our absolute favourite among lots of good courses). If I needed to criticize something then that there were almost too many meat courses, maybe a "green alternative" would have been a little lighter, but all in all this was a perfect evening, thank you!

As the time goes by a certainty remains: at La Madia you can still find high quality food at very very reasonable prices. The atmosphere and the enthusiasm Michele, the chef and his wife share with the entire staff, is always at high level, this means high care to every detail from the moment you step into this place to the moment you leave! The menu has always some creative suggestions and it is always a pleasure to discover the "mix and match" of tastes and flavours that the chef proposes. I highly recommend you to have a "Tasting menu": with less than 40€ pp you get to taste a full and rich menu from entrée to dessert and, as the portions are so generous, you will be proposed to take home what you couldn't eat in there. Admirable!!!

Only one word: fantastic. In everything. Fermented food is the key theme in this restaurant: super tasty and super healthy. Artigianl, local organic. It is one of my favourite places to go. Super reccomandation. Prices are low for such a place. Just one minor issue: I personally think that fermented food has to be served with super fresh food to do the trick. I think that giving a small revision tobthe menu can give this place a 1 Michelin star food-wise.

What a nice surprise! We went yesterday for dinner and it was outstanding. Food and service was excellent. It is not your typical “trattoria”. The food was refined and the combination of flavour was a pleasant surprise. This is easily gault millau/michelin star restaurant level. Keep up the good work! Thank you :)

Non-traditional Italian food. They’re doing really interesting things. If you geek out about food go here, it’s a fun experience. Great service and atmosphere.

Fantastic! Hard to describe the lovely and outstanding perfect service. The restaurant is a little off the tourist routes and it takes a bit up the mountain but it's worth!!! The local food is of excellent quality and you should enjoy the service of the sommelier to have a evening that you love to remember. A reservation is a must even we were lucky and got a table.

I go back every time i m in the area. Great service great food great wines!
