Beautifully kept gardens with stunning floral arrangements, trees and a large ornamental fountain in the middle of the city. Stunning views from the top of the gardens over the city and nearby mountains. This is a "must see" if you are in the area.

One can still imagine the glory of the past, but it is lacking the maintaining of it. Great symbol for the city anyway, since the building is the site of the city hall. Impressive park around with monumental trees

Our friends we were visiting took us to this beautiful park and we had coffee in the warm sun in early spring. Having left the cold in the UK. Had the best afternoon and really enjoyed this gorgeous park. Lots of people enjoying this peaceful park.

A nice, stylish garden. A meeting pont and calm environment in the city centre where one can breath nice air and stay away from worries and rush.

Tolle grüne Insel mitten in der Stadt. Zum Verweilen ein toller Tipp.

These gardens in Varese are just beautiful. There are a few parks for small children, a little train and a great water feature. On a nice sunny day it’s a great place to relax and spend time with the family.

In December before Christmas they set up lights and it looks beautiful. Nice for a quick walk, especially for kids since they have some fun small rides for them.

Lovely city park in Varese. Even better when the plants are not dormant for the winter I am sure. Great place for a walk. There are several playgrounds for the kids (including a mini train to ride!). There is a small cafe near the back which served ice cream bars for the kids and cocktails for the adults. Beautiful and we'll kept.

Interesting to see but not that special, not that clean and the flowers are very simple and common.

Beautiful public park with amazing landscaped slopes and full of veteran trees, with helpful signs in English explaining each species and specimen. We should celebrate veteran trees in this way in the UK.

A beautiful park in the heart of Varese, open to public for free of course. You can go and take a nice walk or visit villa Mirabello, a beautiful building that now functions as a Civic museum. On the way you will see some rare plants and trees, such as the Cedar of Lebanon.

The buildings houses the council of Varese, it is open for tourists and citizens to explore and wander around, you must ask if you are allowed, but they usually say yes. The furniture is all genuine from the 1700s and the building was built in the 1600s. At the entrance there is a nice coffee shop. If you go up to the top of the hill by going behind the fountain, you will reach the playground, great for kids, then there is Villa mirabello, a house built in the 1700s and 1800s. Infront of the villa is a large tree, planted in 1859 in honor of Victor Emmanuel II of Savoy. It is still here today and has a span of 10 meters! The park has many entrances but everyone uses the main one. Overall great place!
