Sono Giacomo Fiacca, 25 aa, Fisioterapista. Continuo a studiare e formami nell'ambito della Ricerca, pertanto la mia scelta si è basata su un analisi del Curriculum Vitae e devo dire che quello del Dott. Badalà farebbe invidia a molti. Da lì ho deciso di fare una prima visita, durante il periodo di Marzo del 2021, fin da subito il Dott. Badalà e le sue collaboratrici come la Dott.ssa Elena Bona non hanno disatteso le mie aspettative. Ho una miopia infantile, che insorta all'età di 3 aa, età in cui ho cominciato a portare l'occhiale. Da lì i miei difetti visivi sono progrediti (difetti poiché si è aggiunto anche l'astigmatismo) fino ad arrivare a -13 diottrie e -3,5 (astigmatismo) occhio destro e -13 diottrie, -2,5 (astigmatismo) occhio sinistro. Inutile dire che il mio difetto visivo mi costringeva ad un occhiale molto pesante da portare, sia dal punto di vista visivo che dal punto di vista estetico. Oltre all'occhiale ho sempre utilizzato lenti a contatto costruite su misura, che mi hanno svoltato la vita dai 13 aa ad oggi. Poi però anche le lenti hanno iniziato a darmi fastidio e mi sono messo alla ricerca di un professionista. Ed eccoci tornati alla nostra esperienza, dalla prima visita sono passati un pò di giorni che mi sono preso per prendere una decisone definitiva, l'intervento è stato fissato i primi di Giugno, vi è stato un piccolo problema con l'arrivo della lente (importante sottolineare che mi sono sottoposto ad un intervento con lenti FACHICHE poiché la tecnologia laser non riesce a supplire in maniera sicura ed efficacia al grave difetto visivo) al quale però il Dott. Badalà ha saputo supplire grazie ad un omaggio nelle visite di controllo successive. (La professionalità si vede sopratutto in queste situazione, non dipese direttamente dal professionista). Entrambi gli interventi, ad un giorno di distanza, sono stati indolore, in tutto il mio decorso post-operatorio non ho mai preso nemmeno una Tachipirina. Fin dal primo giorno sono uscito con tutte le precauzioni del caso e già alla sera ho incominciato a vedere bene. Nei giorni successivi la vista ha subito degli andamenti e dei miglioramenti continui. Penso che l'emozione che ho provato, possa difficilmente essere riporta in una recensione, ma potete immaginare cosa sia per me avere corretto completamente il difetto visivo e vivere senza bisogno di occhiali o di lenti a contatto. Noi fortemente miopi sappiamo bene cosa significa svegliarsi e cercare l'occhiale al mattino come prima cosa (a volte mi capita ancora), oppure fare una semplice doccia vedendoci bene e così via... Pertanto mi sento di consigliare pienamente questo intervento, ma soprattutto mi sento di consigliare il Dott. Ho effettuato una prima visita di controllo presso lo studio del Dottor Badalà il 7 Ottobre del 2021, con conseguente nuova prescrizione di occhiali da vista con gradazione aggiornata. L'ultima visita che avevo effettuato risaleva al 2017 in Germania. Prima del controllo nello studio del Dottor Badalà, avevo notato alcune differenze, e dopo la prescrizione, la vista e' andata migliorando. Entrando nel merito : lo studio e' composto da diversi professionisti che lavorano sotto la supervisione del Dottor Badalà, e nel mio caso si sono mostrati tutti competenti e scrupolosi. Il personale e' giovane, dinamico e preparato. Per quanto riguarda i costi : la mia impressione e' che il costo di una visita di controllo iniziale sia proporzionale non solo alla tipologia di esame diagnostico, ma anche alla quantita' (e soprattutto alla qualita' e all'esperienza) del personale che lavora all'interno dello studio oculistico (e in ogni caso decisamente piu' conveniente rispetto ad altri paesi, come ad esempio la Svizzera). Non ho esperienza diretta riguardo i costi sostenuti presso possibili cliniche private per operazioni chirurgiche in elezione (e spero di non averne bisogno in futuro) : in tali circostanze immagino possa essere comunque utile consultare preliminarmente una o piu' assicurazioni sanitarie, e in caso, stipulare una polizza qualora i costi oggettivi di una operazione superino il proprio budget personale (e nell'eventualita' in cui una convenzione con il SSN non sia prevista). Consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che hanno o che avevano perso la speranza come me di rivolgersi al dott. Badalà per un consulto perhcè ne vale veramente la pena.

Ho 48 anni e il dottor Badalà mi ha operata di cataratta ad entrambi gli occhi : nel 2015 al destro e poi ieri l'altro al sinistro. L'operazione è molto breve e con l'anestesia, benchè si resti vigili, non si vede nulla nè si sente alcun dolore. Il recupero è rapido : dopo due ore dall'intervento si toglie la benda e si vede già molto bene. Il cristallino artificiale, personalizzato secondo le indicazioni del dottore, consente di correggere tutti i difetti visivi. Io ho potuto correggere miopia presbiopia ed astigmatismo e già vedo benissimo da lontano e da vicino. Sono davvero riconoscente e grata al dottore è un professionista davvero eccellente e lo consiglio senz'altro a chi desideri sottoporsi ad un intervento di rimozione della cataratta.

(Original) Recomand din tot sufletul pe domnul doctor Federico Badala, pentru ca a fost singurul care a putut sa dea un diagnostic corect in cazul băiatului meu si sa aplice un tratament care da rezultate cu adevarat. In urma cu aproape doi ani de zile, băiatul meu a fost diagnosticat cu o boala la ochi, boala in urma căreia urma sa-si piardă vederea. Am fost la doctori renumiți in Romania si in Ungaria, dar nu am primit nicio speranța sau tratament. Urma sa ne pregatim pentru momentul in care fiul meu își pierdea vederea in totalitate. Boala avansa destul de repede si in decurs de 6 luni, copilul mai vedea cu un ochi, doar 10%. Printr-o minune, am ajuns in Italia la dr. Badala care a reușit sa-i salveze vederea cu tratament si mult profesionalism. Este un om minunat, calm, răbdător si mai ales bun in tot ceea ce face. Dacă simtiti ca nu mai aveți nicio speranța, nu renuntati. Este acolo. Este pentru pacienții săi trup si suflet. Tot respectul si considerația, domnule doctor Federico Badala! Multumim din suflet!

I thank Dr. Badalà and his entire team for the excellent treatment received in relation to the complex cataract operation to which I underwent on 02 October 2023. Everything went according to my expectations and Dr. Badalà's predictions, supported from a careful analysis and a clear explanation, they were entirely realized. I have been treated at this clinic for Keratoconus during the last 3 years, starting with a transplant in.2016. Everything was fine since then and I can see again better than I thought I ever will with my right eye. After years of treatment at another center, I learned from the Web about Doctor Badalà's Center for Ocular Micro Surgery. I arrived at the visit with glaucoma problems in both eyes and with 2 DSAEK corneal transplants in the right eye, the last of which performed in February 2022 caused an increase in eye pressure which in the previous center I attended revolt and I had been in treatment for years, they were never able to treat and in the right eye I ended up having a damaged optic nerve and now with 1/10 vision Struck by Dr. Badalà's professionalism, I immediately put myself in his hands and care. Surgery performed perfectly without pain during the operation and without post-operative complications and where I was followed with care and professionalism. A few months ago I went to the practice with extreme urgency due to keratitis caused by contact lenses. The Dr. Badalà, immediately understanding how delicate the case was, made an appointment for me for the same day. My name is Alessandra, I'm 60 years old. I have known Dr. Badalà who treats my husband for maculopathy for years. Thanks to his thoughtful care, my husband leads a normal life, which is not a given for this pathology. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with the onset of cataracts in both eyes. Initially, since it did not affect the quality of vision, I postponed solving the problem. Subsequently, due to a series of events and personal problems I continued to put it off until I realized that my vision was increasingly blurred, particularly in my right eye. The next day I underwent the second operation with peace of mind. The next day I had a check-up. Doctor Badalà confirmed the excellent success of the surgery despite having an advanced cataract. I told my experience because I want to convey a very important message to people like me who, out of fear of surgery and other reasons, postpone the decision to undergo it. I admit it was a mistake: I wasted time. I would have been able to see everything around us optimally, much earlier. Last but not least: the great professionalism, competence, ability to reassure the patient, humanity, courtesy of Dr. Badalà and Dr. Bona were fundamental.

Today I had my first visit with Dr. Badalà. His experience really showed through his highly professional and thorough visit. He took his time to explain things clearly to me both in English and Italian and I went away feeling reassured. I will surely return and recommend him to friends and family.
