Quaint lunch place. The vibe is very modern and calming, it invites to take a breath between shopping. Their Cheesecake with nuts was divine, avocado toast with eggs very filling and an experimental red beet pie - sounds weird but try it you’ll love it. Definitely will be back in summer.

I was there in the early evening for dinner and find they have a few trendy options for vegans and tried the cactus salad and guacamole. Because of the good weather I found a nice place outside. The waiter also served gluten free bread, so it was a good evening meal. The guacamole portion is big and tasted great. The salad is more of an assortment of grilled vegetables. However the cook grilled most of them too long, so they were burned. Actually I wanted to go for the egg dish, but as I avoid milk products it contained cream and I could not take it. The restaurant just opened two weeks ago, it's interior looks brand new. The staff is helpful and friendly.

The concierge at our hotel recommended Cactus Kitchen. We were the first to be seated, and we were a little nervous as to what to expect considering no one else was there. To our surprise, we actually had a really great meal for our last night in Milan. Everything was fresh and super flavorful. Definitely opt for the pazanella and cactus vegetables. I had the salmon which was light and flavorful. My fiancé had the tuna — market fish of the day. We also had a pasta with truffle! Delicious. This spot is great for vegans, vegetarians and anyone who is tired of the same super rich Milanese dishes. My only suggestion to management is to lower the overhead lighting in the evening. The bright lights kill the vibe.

A small cozy place with great taste to the details. We enjoyed our cactus cocktails and main course (ramen and ravioli), both very good. But dessert we chose was really disappointing - pearamisu had artificial pear taste and we didn’t like it at all. On the good side restaurant sursprised with assortment of desserts on the house and they were all very delicious.

We had a very comfortable and leisurely lunch at Cactus. The ambience was superb and table was big and spacious. This is rare in Italy I've found as most restaurants seemed to be really small and cramped which can be uncomfortable in winter when you have bulky winter coats and all. The menu offers fantastic interesting choices for vegans, but there were hits and misses for the food. The guacamole and mashed potatoes were REALLY GOOD! The pumpkin parmigiana and tomato panzanella were also excellent. However, the risotto which apparently was their signature was so salty it was almost inedible. I fed back to the wait staff and they were good enough to take it off the bill. The spaghetti pomodoro was mediocre and the tiramisu was disappointing too. Overall, a great quiet place to have a good relaxing meal and rest up if you're tired from all the walking and shopping.
