We had a lovely dinner here with fresh vegetables, chicken and tuna. The homemade "sambal" was a nice addition! 😋 Friendly staff, as most people on this beautiful island 😉

Authentische Küche mit lokalen Bio Produkten mit super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Alle Speisen werden frisch in der offenen Küche zubereitet. Wir haben zweimal dort zu Abend gegessen. Die beiden Betreiber sind herzlich und hilfreich bei der Verständigung mit Händen und Füßen (wir können kein Portugiesisch).

A very nice place with delicious food. A very big portion. Also don't forget to try their homemade ice cream, we tried banana and lime. Both very tasty, but the lime one was simply amazing.

Un très chouette arrêt sur le chemin montant ou descendant du cratère Cova, quelques plats à la demande, sans carte, d'une cuisine familiale de qualité et très fraîche. En plus tôt l'équipe est très gentille ! On a aimé, ça fait vraiment le job, jus frais délicieux.

Faire une étape chez Ady & Juju devrait être obligatoire pour tout parcours sur Santo Antao. Des gens super accueillants, un repas tout en saveur, des glaces maison excellentes. Ne pas rater les jus de canne à sucre ( au citron aujourd'hui) une véritable découverte. A recommander sans hésitation !!

Lovely place and lovely People. The food was so tasty! The homemade Juice "Cana&Limao" is a must try. Also get yourself one scoop of lemon and one scoop of coconut homemade icecream, it's so good.

An absolute must when hiking down Paul! The food was some of the best i had eaten in days, the home made coffee and ice cream...and the views made me feel like in paradise. The managing couple is adorable and I can't to be back soon!

Atmospheric little eating place with homely cooked food. We had a delicious dinner here. As elsewhere in small restaurants in far away places on less visited Cape Verdean Islands the menu is limited and it’s a good idea to let them know in advance that you’re coming. Service was super friendly and the ambiance unbeatable. Highly recommendable.

During our stay in Paul Valley we went twice and simply loved it! One Capverdian told us at our arrival it was the best place in town to eat and he was right: food extremely good and home made, owner and staff super friendly and the view beautiful!! We even received recommendations for the area and learned about the capverdian culture. Just take into account: Portuguese, Spanish and some English works (maybe also French) We’ll really miss this place going back home! Obrigada Juju & Ady! Placer!

we saw the place before going on the long and rewarding trip to Cova do Paul. and we decided to eat here when we return. we arrived past 5pm. the place was quite empty, and they did not have tuna anymore, just chicken option. which i don t eat. however, they offered some vegetables cooked nicely with rice, and my husband had the chicken which had a very tasty and flavored sauce. we also had two portions of fish pastry which were great and mango fresh juice also amazingly tasty. the place is run by the family and they also produce some crafts and jams. we bought papaya and mango jam and returned to buy local coffee beans as well. we really recommend the place. very tasty, fresh, great view to the valley and great prices as well.

Un arrêt obligatoire dans ce restaurant familiale lors de vos randonnées dans la vallée de Paul. La cuisine est authentique. Les jus locaux sont très bons un délice. Ady est très sympathique et il parle français.

Très bon repas complet, avec des produits venant directement de leur jardin, mangé dans un cadre superbe!! Ady et Juju sont aux petits soins pour leurs clients. Les jus de fruits maison sont délicieux ! Option vege possible!

The reviews were insanely good at 4.9* but I didn't want to believe it was true. Thought it was just people being polite. Nope. This food is incredible. Hiked from Espongeiro to Cova and down and I don't normally stop but the reviews were too good. Had just opened at 12 and they weren't about to cook chicken but based on the reviews that was what I asked for and they decided to cook it and it was... sublime. Cooked lovingly in a curried sauce, with vegetables diced with amazing flavoursome herbs, soft slices of Avocado to set off the taste. It was phenomenally good, I live in London and if you cooked this there you'd have people queueing forever. The tastes were truly remarkable, some of the best food I ate in the world ever. I got this far only to mention now great people, amazing setting, with life changing views. Please excuse the photo - the splash was mine... I could already smell it and I couldn't wait 😂

I've tried lots of restaurants in Santo Antao and i can way this is the best one, i loved the taste of the food. Ingredientes are super fresh and tasty, i had here definetly a good experience after a hike.

Best traditional food in Santo Antão: we came here 3 times in a row for lunch - Menu is on the wall: be quick before 1 thing is removed from the menu 🤣 - Try vegetarian with special creamy green banana and yam paste, very good chicken cooked with vegetable in the garden - Best lime ice cream: the best! Passion fruit ice cream is good too - Fresh sugar cane juice: Ady you can try kumquat sometime 😁 - People are so friendly here! - You can park car somewhere then hike 1 hour before lunch. Otherwise just ride to here is also okay

Un restaurant à tester absolument si vous venez vous balader dans la vallée de Paúl !! La cuisine est délicieuse et l’accueil extrêmement chaleureux, le tout depuis une terrasse où la vue est magnifique !! Si vous y passez : ne ratez pas l’occasion de déguster leurs excellentes glaces maisons (notamment celle au maïs) ! Bonus pour les francophones : on y parle très bien français :)

We hebben 2x gehaktballetjes besteld en 3x mix sap (appel, mango en banaan volgens mij). Rustig plekje met mooi uitzicht, mensen zijn heel vriendelijk en alles wordt vers gemaakt. Aanrader!

No sabíamos nada del lugar, solo que ya teníamos hambre. Desde el minuto uno nos sorprendió su limpieza (el baño estaba impecable). Las vistas eran excelentes, la música ambiente muy buena y a un volumen perfecto (cosa rara en Cabo Verde). Solo quedaba degustar su comida, que nos encantó por su sencillez, calidad y autenticidad, adaptada a lo que habíamos pedido. Un lugar con mucho encanto en el que, además, conocimos y hablamos con sus dueños ¡Para volver una y mil veces! ¡Ah! No te pierdas el zumo de caña de azúcar con lima o limón: delicioso. Y si, encima, puedes ver su preparación, … ¡todo un lujo!

I stayed for 5 days in the village and I ended up having dinner everyday here 😁 The food is really good and really tasty based on local products. Ady and Juju are very welcoming and are always making sure you have everything you need (including drinks). Great also to meet people for solo travellers. Antoine

Un placer haber encontrado a esta gente tan especial y maravillosa. Ady y su familia son increíbles. Una comida espectacular, el zumo de caña estaba riquísimo y genial para recuperar las fuerzas después de haber hecho la ruta del volcán.

Super endroit, on est tombé dessus par hasard et il nous a semblé magique au milieu de notre randonnée ! Jus papaye menthe excellent et qui fait extrêment plaisir au cours d'une journée de randonnée :) Personnel chaleureux, très accueillant et professionnel : je recommande vivement !

Bravo, excellent sur toute la ligne de l'accueil aux délicieuses glaces maison sans oublier le punch en apéritif et le plat succulent Addy et sin équipe sont au top ... À ne pas manquer si vous passez par Paúl et même à faire le détour. Merci pour ces moments

Escribiendo esta reseña al final de nuestro viaje, podemos decir que la comida que tuvimos en este restaurante es la número 1 de nuestro ranking. Paramos de casualidad mientras hacíamos una ruta por el valle de Paul y fue un acierto. Las empanadas casadas de pollo estaban increíbles y el pescado que pedimos después súper sabroso y acompañado de verduras perfectamente especiadas. El local está limpio (baño incluido) y las vistas desde la terraza son muy bonitas.

We had two very nice dinners here. It was so good we came back the next day. They have really nice fish, vegetables, meat, rice and some sort of puree. You should definitely try their home made ice cream and punch too! Greetings from Holland!

Some of the best food I've had since I arrived in Cape Verde. The passion fruit ice cream is a must try if you visit. The best ice cream I've ever had the pleasure of eating. And the view in the village is to die for.

Nepozabna izkušnja. Odlična hrana, prijeten ambient, čudovita narava, prijazni in topli ljudje, najboljši bananin sladoled in še bi lahko naštevala. Zagotovo nisem bila zadnjič. Izkušnja, ki se je ne da opisati z besedami. Potrebno jo je doživeti. Zelo priporočam. Hvaležna za to izkušnjo. ❤️🥰
