    Nice restaurant in Lomé with a German name. The gastronomy is more international and not so German, as the name suggests. But the quality and the service are good. At least they were good when we visited once. The outdoor area with tables is nice and the selection of beers is great. The kind waiter even ordered a taxi for us when leaving. If you want to avoid the noise from the road and the nearby industrial port, then choose a table close to the bar or inside the main building and not in the outdoor area. In summary, the restaurant is really worth the effort. Merci beaucoup! Vielen Dank!

    I went to Alt Munchen with a couple of friends while visiting Lome and the food was amazing. Not one food but all food. The prize is also quite reasonable. The atmosphere is also very charming. Though, when you go in the evening, we recommend to sit indoors.

    Excellent place. I loved in Germany and can gladly say that you wouldn't be disappointed with this place. Even in Germany would be amazing. Unreal to think it's in Lomé lol 😂

    Echt Super, sollte jeder probieren der Mal in Lomé ist und trotzdem Mal Deutsche bzw Schweizer Küche konsumieren möchte, inklusive Käsefondue 😀

    Located across from the shipping port in Lomé, Alt Munchen is labeled as a German restaurant but the food seem regular in flavor. I must say, I did try the German lentil soup and it was amazing. I could have eaten that alone with bread and wine. The menu is a bit pricey but okay. I ordered the Lamb chops with potatoes and vegetables. It was overcooked but seasoned nicely. The service was great, the location was difficult to find at night, the environment was cozy and intimate.

    This place has a strong German flavor but also offers Italian and local dishes. Seafood is nice and fresh. Lunchtime is quite busy. The service is quick. A must stop if visiting Lomé.

    Are you visiting Lome? then this is a must-visit restaurant. Since it is a long tradition German restaurant, be sure to try ‘jarret de porc’ (Schweinshaxe)

    I've been here twice, on consecutive evenings. The first night I ordered the avocado salad, and received two halves of avocados with shrimp. The next night with the same order I was delivered only one. It was explained that there was a different chef. For 4,500 I would recommend ensuring you get two halves. The Lamb Carré was fine.

    Food quality has decreased severely and most importantly, rude, impolite and incompetant waiters. I will not return unless major changes are implemented by owners

    Love this place! gristle. Bad thing was that I Got the veal cordon Bleu and could barely chew the meat it was so tough and gristly.

    I ordered a takeaway meal. Chips and pork chop which was relatively expensive at 7000 cfa. Sauce and food had no flavour. I found it quite bland

    The quality of the food was not good. My girlfriend is German and said the food is definitely not homemade but probably convenience food... Some of the dishes were also not available. The food is expensive especially compared to other restaurants in Lomé. Location was nice but we were freezing because of the AC. Can’t recommend going there!!
