Very sweet spot with a dog friendly patio. Gluten free pizza was delicious! As was the spicy Margarita which I highly recommend. We had the patio to ourselves on a Thursday afternoon (late lunch) but I’m sure it gets busier during more regular times due to its great menu!

I've been to many vegan restaurants, but this is a vegan Italian restaurant that offers the best taste I know. All the staff are very kind. The store and restrooms are very clean. Highly recommended

We came here a little after they open so it was pretty empty. The servers were so nice & the restaurant was so close to the beach. You could cross the street & you’ll see it. The food was really big portions but it was still sooooo good. It was creamy & hot which is what you need in a pasta. It was so flavorful! I definitely recommend.

The food is absolutely delicious! Decent portions. The problem is if you don’t check your order, you won’t be able to enjoy the food you thought you bought! The food was so good I ordered twice in the same week both times my orders were incorrect. The alarming part is even with informing them of the food allergy it was not acknowledged. So one could not eat! Saul also lacked empathy for the 45 minutes it took me to get there to pick it up. He just repeated if I was close they would remake it. It’s disappointing since I have worked in hospitality and time is something you can’t get back especially if your order is wrong and you don’t feel like driving 45 minutes to go back to get something while the rest of your food continues to get cold and your family is complaining why they have to wait to eat! It just doesn’t make any sense!

I'm not vegan, but if I lived closer I would eat here constantly. Love that they use nuts and not soy for their vegan cheese and creams. The mock mozzarella sticks are divine and truffle cream pasta with fermented black garlic was beyond amazing. Oh yeah, they have the best craft cocktails.

This place is a MUST!!! 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 Best italian vegan food! Just wow! We loved every plate we order, table of four: 2 appetisers: mozzarella sticks and brussel sprouts ✅ (bruschettas looked good too) 2 salads caesare and tricolor 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 2 pizzas: capricciosa and the one with “pepperoni” TOP 1 Cacio E Pepe: creaminess on point 👌🏼 Desserts: chocolate sunday on a chocolate chip cookie 🤤 and we also ordered hazelnut ice cream drowned in a espresso 🔝 Music and lightning was great! They have a screen and it was a black and white movie that suited perfectly with the ambiance ✔️ Our waitress was very nice. Just be aware that food takes some time if it is full as it was today that we visited, but it is more than worth it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely excellent vegan Italian food. If you are vegan it's a must go in L.A. Potato verges are fabulous, lasagna on point, carbonara as well. The cheese was perfect, made of cashews and macadamia nuts, both ricotta and mozarella very delicious. It was a great experience. We were stuffed, so we couldn't try the pizza yet but will come very soon!

Really delicious vegan Italian place. They also had amazing gluten free options. We ordered the almond ricotta pancakes, caccio e Pepe gf pasta, the mushroom pizza gf and my friend had the non gf pepperoni and pepper pizza. Everything was splendid. My highlight was definitely the mushroom pizza. The different elements of flavour were amazing. The restaurant has a slight upscale vibe but with a laid back feeling as well. Definitely a must try for anyone in the Redondo area. It ended up to be a fairly expensive meal so I would recommend this place as a fancy occasion option :)

The food is good, the service is slow. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They also have parking in the back (take a turn in the alleyway next to the apartment building).

I had an amazing experience here, the food was unbelievably delicious and the service was awesome. So excited to find an all vegan Italian experience that tastes incredible. My server Jose gave awesome recommendations but the best part of the experience was his down to earth personality and genuine conversation. I definitely recommend this place

So glad I chose this place to celebrate both my mom and my birthday. This is the best vegan restaurant I have ever been to! I'm not vegan, but don't eat much meat and sometimes it's hard finding good and unique vegetarian/vegan options. Even meat eaters would love this place. Every single item we ordered was delicious. Our server, Rhina was also amazing, attentive and helpful. We will be returning again and again!

This was my second time dining here, the first time inside and for a full meal. I ordered the margarita pizza and I am so in love with this crust and the tomato sauce, I could eat it every day all day. The nutella pizza is ridiculously delicious- my child and her friend loved it so much that the first time they had it, I had to stop them from licking the pan where the nutella had drizzled off.

We normally go to the Wesr Hollywood location, but as we don't live in the LA area and only had a stop over at LAX the Redondo Beach location was a little closer, so better for a quick pop over during our layover. Quality of the food, service, and over all vibe is just as great as the West Hollywood location. Pura Vita is not just my favorite vegan restaurant, but favorite restaurant of all time. I have traveled to Italy on several occasions and would put the food at Pura Vita up against the restaurantsi have experienced there, it is truly the best Italian restaurant ever. This visit we started with the Baked Cashew Ricotta and the starter special which I cannot recall the name of (it was an artichoke dish), but the flavor of it was amazing! For the main the Carbonara is my favorite and my usual go to, but decided to go off script this time and enjoyed the Linguine di Mare which was excellent. The King Oyster Mushroom Scallops in my Linguine di Mare were little flavor bombs in my mouth. My partner got the Lasagna Pura which I had to steal a bite of as always. As we had two good portioned appetizers and a bottle of wine we started to slow down on our mains by the end, so we ordered some Nocino to help digest what we already ate. The Nocino they have is absolutely amazing, I will be looking for it locally to me. While the Nocino helped us digest enough to finish our plates, we had sadly over done it a bit and were too full for Zeppoles this time, will have to get them for sure next time for desert. While the food is the best part, it is not everything about our time there. The decor and warmth you feel from the atmosphere enhances the dining experience. As does the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. It is always such a joy to have the chance to stop at Pura Vita and I look forward to my next travels to the area.

Delicious food. As an east coast transplant, I finally found good Italian food and PIZZA. Staff is excellent, the patio is pet friendly, and the cocktails are amazing.

This one-of-a-kind Vegan Italian restaurant has a menu full of mouth-watering dishes. From the savory pizzas to the sweet pastas, this place checks all the boxes for fine Italian dining. It is definitely in the pricier side, due to the fresh and organic imported ingredients. I highly recommend to any fan of Italian food, vegan or not, to see how you feel after indulging. After eating Lasagna, pizza and dessert, I still felt light due to the fresh and plant-based ingredients. Also, only get the Nutella pizza if you are really a Nutella lover!

We went here 5:30 PM on a very rainy weekday so we didn’t have a reservation because we figure out it won’t be busy. And it wasn’t when we arrive, however, because we didn’t have a reservation they didn’t sit us on a table and we were four people the whole night. Our dinner was so uncomfortable because we were sitting in a row.. they didn’t let us sit on a table because we didn’t have a reservation not because the table was taken. There were two available tables next to us that we could have sat, but they didn’t let us. After two hours there’s still nobody there. Not very accommodating. My daughter and my husband went here few times. But yeah that’s going to be the last.
