It was my wife's birthday and we heard about their deal for people, on their bday. This was, by far, the best birthday deal we have ever experienced. Her lobster tail was perfectly cooked, and the steak was done to her exact liking. The Best part was that it was free! The lobster tail was 7oz, and the steak was 8oz. The tacos birria were just as delicious. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Would gladly bring friends here. Worth the trip, even if it's not your birthday. But a bonus, if it is.

We wanted to try this place out cuz we have walked by it so many times, so we took a chance & we weren't disappointed l, the ceaser salad was plentyfull, also tried the clam chowder now this is hard to explain...the chowder was ok would have been better with out the "hot sauce" they drizzle on it...it was just way to overpowering & took away from the clam chowder taste..the cocktails were absolutely delicious... overall the staff & the food was great & we will definitely be coming back.

At outdoors under the covered tent. I went at 5:00p.m. for a few beers and dinner. This was a good time to go as it wasn't as crowded. The pan seared barramundi with sauted arugula and fingerling potatoes was delicious! I would order it again. If you like garlic and capers, you'll enjoy this dish. For dessert we tried the pistachio creme brulee and brownie with ice cream. Order the pistachio brulee!

Went for a birthday. The ribs were over cooked at the ends. The blackened Mahi Mahi was so dry and without any sauce or moisture? The Barbacoa tacos were salty and over sauced and presentation? just look at the picture. We sent the tacos back. The spicy margarita was good. Wedge salad was excellent. Spent a lot of money, and it wasn't a good experience.

The barbacow tacos here might be an americanized take on the dish, but they are mind blowing. We ordered around a dozen dishes and they were all delicious. Between that and the friendly service, I can easily recommend this restaurant.

Lovely restaurant and ambiance!

Early lunch upon their opening, avoided the crowds due to covid restrictions and indoor dining. Outside seating is available. Menu choices attracted indecisiveness, yet able to zero in on one entree. (Will have to return to try other offerings another time.) Portions are large and taste exquisite. Server was not only friendly and attentive, she made the enjoyment of our eating experience comfortable and fun.

Today's Sunday Grub-Day adventure brought me back out to Riviera Village to dine. I had a salad since I really wasn't all that hungry. The salad was good but the sparkling sangria was super yummy. I'd like to try this place again perhaps during the week to order food other than brunch.

HT was great today! Their outdoor patio was spacious and well heated. Onion soup was good though a bit peppery for some tastes. Meatloaf also good with a rich and slightly smoky sauce. The Espresso Short Rib was the best, delicious deep red wine sauce and perfectly cooked, tender rib. The al dente broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes were a perfect complement. I also recommend the local coffee stout to go with the rich meal!

We were looking for a late night dinner because we had to work until late and didn't have time to cook. The service was excellent as was the ambiance in the outdoor seating. Our food came quickly and the Cioppino and the Scallops were delicious. The kids chicken nuggets were a little overcooked but the fries were delicious. The French onion soup was average but the temperature was good. Would definitely recommend to others.

Love the staff, great food. It’s a downtown Redondo Beach / Riviera Village classic. Really good Seasonal Menu right now (Winter 2019-2020 - see pic). It’s a nice, casual local kind of crowd. They have a great brunch. Seating at the fire pit is wonderful!

This restaurant is superb and roomy, the menu was delicious and the prices were very economical. quickly, effective service and very welcoming staff. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Good food, but not great service when we were sitting outside. Drink refills were few and far between. Requests for water or refills took a long time and we had to ask multiple times. And the restaurant wasn't busy. Parking might have been easy becsuse they have their own lot, but the lot was almost full around 3pm, when the restaurant was not. Still likely to go again.

The staff were attentive and kind. The food was delicious! I've been here already twice this week!

A little pricey, but fresh ingredients well prepared. Deals can be split, especially if an appetizer is added. Super friendly wait staff.

Fun and relaxing, waiters are so great and smiling at all times. Amazing location a few mins walk from the beach.

Food was outstanding! Loved every bite. Flavors were amazing. Portions were small but the flavor was so big we still left feeling plenty full. Atmosphere was beautiful. Staff was great, everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful. Had a birthday dinner there. Best of all we just stopped in and got a table with no wait! Highly recommended!

Stopped here for dinner w/ my Bestie! They have a beautiful patio w/ heat warmers and a firepit. We shared a bunch of meals: clam chowder, poke nachos, crispy brussels, apple spinach salad, banana bread pudding and 2 pitchers of sangria

Had been quite some time since my last visit. What a pleasure it is to report that it's better than ever. There was a time in the last decade or so that I felt the restaurant was relying too heavily on its choice location and beautiful set up and not enough on what was served. Happened to come on Lobster night (every Thursday, at least for the foreseeable future according to our attentive server). A whole (1.5 lb).lobster served with potatos and corn. For $42. That settled it for me-- it's not every day that one gets a whole lobster and at that price, After it came out, I knew I had made the right call. My dinner mate ordered Steak Fries and we both ended up finishing our plates. The steak was cooked exactly to order, gauche though the "medium plus" order may have been! We shared the skillet brownie for dessert (forgot to grab a picture). It was served with whipped cream as well as a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side and it was simply perfect. All in all, a really great meal too to bottom with an adroit, friendly server. Will definitely be back soon.

My husband and I are on vacation and staying in Redondo Beach. We knew we wanted steak and this was the nearest restaurant to us with steak on the menu. IT WAS DELICIOUS. The serving sizes are very generous. The steak was cooked perfectly to our liking. Not to mention the ambiance outside and inside is a vibe! Our server was attentive, helpful, and friendly! We will return here on our next visit!

Christmas Dinner was absolutely delicious, we decided to go with the traditional surf and turf and 16oz of Wagyu NY Strip, with the Mimosa Flight...Service was 10/10 as always.

A pretty disappointing meal. I had the grill burger and it was straight up burnt. The fries were good though. A member of our party had the “3 course” meal which was very disappointing as well. There were four of us and our bill was $145 so for that price I would expect a better culinary moment. The service was good and the staff was very nice though.

I love Sunday Funday and when the Feed the Kitty band is playing. Their fresh squeezed orange & grapefruit juice makes every drink delicious! I always order the Mac & Cheese but after tasting the short ribs last night, I know what I'll be ordering next time.

Went for brunch with the wife. She had eggs Benedict, and I had biscuits and gravy. She said hers was very good. Mine was probably the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had! A perfectly poached egg on top of the perfect gravy and biscuits. The gravy was thick with sausage, and was just a tiny bit sweet, and just a hint of spice from the hatch chili's. The service was excellent also. Our server graciously allowed us to change to a patio table where we could sit and enjoy the band that was going to play that afternoon. We will definetly be going back for brunch in the future.

Dave was our server and he was super cool. The burger there was absolutely amazing! We are talking pickles done right. Music sing alongs by the band was cool. Only issue was the smell of gas from the fire pit. Let that also help your choice to sit inside or outside. Great time! Dogs are allowed outside apparently if that matters to you. Parking is $7- not too bad compared to other places.

Excellent restaurant with great service. We had a cpuple of appreciations that were great. I had the sea bass and it was fantastic. My husband had the chicken and he said it was excellent. We had four people in our party and everything came out at the same time.

5 Star experience. Food was cooked to perfection. Our server Heather handled our demands for 3 hours, sorry I spilled two drinks. Definitely heading back for Monday night specials she told us about. Cheers.

Cant beat the atmosphere being so close to the beach. Good service and delicious entrees! Prices a little higher than similar fare but i guess you are paying for ambiance. Great date night location.

HT Grill (the old Velvet Turtle from years ago) is always a good go-to for drinks, or a meal (or both!) and listening to live music down in the Hollywood Riviera, Redondo Beach area. Crowd generally tends to be above the 30-something age group. Is well located and within easy walking from numerous other restaurants, bars & shops.

We were with a group of about 40 people in a special room. The servers rocked it! I couldn't believe how well it went with that many people. The asparagus was even done perfect! How do you do that with that many people? The food was spectacular. We had a few drinks at the bar and they were great for happy hour drinks. Fabulous service, great food and a great vibe. I am celiac and they were able to accommodate the menu for the people who couldn't have gluten.

Good food nice service and patio. First place visited after restaurant reopened. Suggestion out side tables are properly spaced. but they should have paper menus not reusable ones and all servers should have gloves like in may other places.Only 1 out of 4 was wearing gloves.
