Stayed here with my wife for a concert at the Eden project. Lovely owners who helped us with bus times and had lots of local tips for us. Great location very near to the train station/bus stops and a good base for exploring the area. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent all round, very friendly people and fabulous breakfast. Look out for a nod to the past with antique features around the rooms. Highly recommended

We had a fabulous week. Hosts were really friendly and helpful. Lovely cooked breakfast. We chose vegetarian option even though we're not vegetarian. It was lovely. We were given lots of advice about different places to go, several that we wouldn't have thought about at all. It's about 500 yds from the train station and bus links. Rooms were clean, fresh and comfortable. Thoroughly recommend. Oh also they enjoy country music which was a bonus for us.

Such a fabulous stay. This B&B was absolutely perfect and I couldn’t recommend more, from ample parking, to the room to the welcome we received I couldn’t fault a thing. Adelaide and Steve were lovely and helpful and cooked an amazing breakfast! They also gave us brilliant recommendations for days out. The room was spotless and comfortable and had all the home comforts required, including tea and coffee making facilities. The shower was amazing and shower gel and shampoo were provided. The location was another thing that amazed us, not only were we walking distance from the town but we were also walking distance to the train station meaning without having to drive we could access all the surrounding beaches and towns which is fabulous if you plan to cover a lot of ground on your trip! St Austell and Gwydra B&B both highly exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to return! Big thanks to you all and we will see you again soon.

Stayed at Gwyndra house with my husband for a long weekend in Cornwall and loved it. There's guest parking, the hosts are so friendly and check in was quick and easy. We stayed in the St Ives room which is large and was very clean. The ensuite had a rainfall shower which was so good. Breakfast was lovely, we had hot food cooked to order and service was attentive but not overbearing. Gwyndra house is in a great location for exploring Cornwall by car or train as its close to St Austell Station. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book again.
