Love this place. They seem quite happy for you to open boxes and wrappers to inspect the carefully sealed products inside! Francis on the till is a delight and the store manager is always on the floor ready to offer advice and show you where things are. 😀

Often contains useful things. Untidy though as the stock is poorly presented and maintained. You can't always get what you want. No, you can't always get what you want.

Excellent. Visited the store because I needed a product I couldn't source anywhere else. There was a great choice and array of colours but with the help of a member of staff, I found exactly what I wanted. Had a quick look around the store at the same time for future reference and wasn't disappointed. Good size store, helpful and friendly staff.

Ordered tile trim showed stock online unfortunately they had none of shelf. Sam the manager arranged to arrange stock from another store just to full fill my needs. We need more Sam’s as managers across the network. B&Q headoffice don’t lose Sam and give him a pay rise well deserved

Great selection of various products and services. The store is large, spacious, well-organised, clean and tidy. There are nice visual representations of the products and display models that can be "taken into hands" to see how it feels and looks like. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. Good place for gathering ideas for a home refurbishment.

You can find pretty much everything. Well organised and the aisles are clean. Sometimes you struggle to find someone available to help. Prices are on the expensive side.

I have been looking for a wooden (or plywood) panel. All staff is friendly and lead me to the right person. The very nice helpful lady sorted for me all the measurements, prices. I have been offered to use a free service to cut the panel according to the size I needed. Unfortunately, they don't cut round shapes, only straight lines.

B&q is so iconic. We get lots of wood here for my mum's van and it is a good price. Employees are nice and I like pushing the trolley cuz it's rlly challenging Big up b&q

impossible to get a refund. tried to get a refund for sliding doors but no chance of getting through to people who can actually issue a refund. Absolutely useless customer support line. They are just a wall who decides nothing and not interested in helping.

A good selection of paint, paint samples, and painting accessories. The staff were knowledgeable and able to help if asked a question.

Worst customer service I ever experienced. I recently bought a lawn mower, which I wanted to return. Their policy states that one can return items within 90 days; but the manager made up some 45 day policy which I could not find anywhere - and didn't accept my return. Highly recommend not buying any expensive item from there, as you will not be able to return it.

Went to buy some guttering, asked a young male assistant, without looking at me, he gave me a mumbled reply. After only finding half of what I needed I asked him again, his reply never stocked them! I was bemused...are you sure I asked, never stoked them! How long have you worked here, he pointed to his badge, apparently he'd been there 4 years, I did explain, I don't like your unhelpful manner...he stomped off...how rude!😡

What ever genius designed their new checkout area to rid themselves of staff, needs reminding some customers have more a few small items in a basket sutable for self checkout. In fact very large items in big trolleys. 3pm on a Monday and chaos, i would hate to see it on a Saturday. On the plus side, wood sheet cut nicely thank you.

You can indeed do it, when you B&Q it. Bought 5 paint testers. Was very pleased with one of them, less so the other four. Hey ho!

Lot of young staff members don’t know much of the processes. Senior staff members super knowledgable and helpful

I looked online at this specific store for a certain product. The website stated 5 in stock so I jumped in the car and headed down there. When I got into the store I couldn't see the product so asked a member of staff who told me they hadn't stocked the product for a few years. He asked if I had searched B+Q nationwide or that specific store, I said yes I searched that specific store. He actually questioned whether that was correct and basically told me I must have been mistaken asking if I had the proof on my phone.... I wasn't going to get into that so I simply left the store and went elsewhere. I did however check when I got home just in case it had indeed been my error and no I was correct and the item was (and still is as I write this review) saying they had 5 in stock. I think more could have been done rather than questioning my ability to search properly hence the 2 star review. Could he have gotten someone to check online rather than questioning me and essentially asking me to prove it? Yes I think so. I do still think it's a good chain otherwise it would have been a 1 star review. Perhaps some additional customer service training could be provided to help their staff assist paying customers more adequately.

Selective as to whether I go here or not as can be expensive but whenever I do go I am happy with my purchases.

Huge ranges. Helpful, knowledgeable staff and info charts & guides. Well stocked apart from panick-buying times. Massive car-park with better security than neighbours. Very large trolleys. Outdoor food van during day has a pub-table. Opposite Aldi, near(ish) PC World. Fantastic warehouse shop.

B&Q is THE one stop shop for all your home improvement needs in general and this one is no different. The store is centrally located in Cambridge city with ample parking. It is also very close to the other similar stores if you want to compare peices and products in store and then decide.

The consultant gave us inaccurate information about internal doors we were looking at. Luckily, I checked the detailed specifications online and did not purchase the product. The labels on the doors in the shop do not provide sufficient detail about the material.

Terrible experience. Rude service personnel. Melanie was very Rude, unhelpful and so unfriendly. I wonder why would a store of this reputation will employ such people. I’ll never come here again.
