I thoroughly enjoyed learning to swim front crawl with Paul. Great teaching which is fun and informative. My technique has improved but importantly I feel more competent and safer in the water. Paul will teach you about tides and cold water safety which is vital if you want to swim in open water safely. I would highly recommend the front crawl package of four lessons

Would highly recommend if you are interested in giving open water swimming a go. We had an hour 2:1 lesson and found Paul to be friendly and very knowledgeable and he made us feel at ease. We have since been out on our own and are hoping to go out on a regular basis. It’s cold, but so worth it!.

Paul hosted a sunset swim session after yoga on the beach. It was a blustery old evening but somehow that added to the charm! Paul was calm and reassuring and offered excellent advice to the group, in particular more nervous swimmers who had not been in the sea before, coming in the water with them and helping them regulate their breathing. It was a fantastic session and I highly recommend Paul’s services. Thank you!

My 9 year old thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the Rookie Lifeguard course over the Summer at Chalkwell beach. She learnt loads and Paul is great. Definitely recommend.

I took a couple of swimming coaching sessions with Paul in order to swim in cold water/ sea safely and I got so much more out of this that I thought. Paul has an incredible amount of knowledge about so much more than swimming from tides to hyperthermia. His calm and professional nature is an asset to have as even though slightly nervous for the first swim I was made at ease and armed with new knowledge I am confident to start swimming more regularly. I would highly recommend Paul if you are even considering a cold water dip as this will arm with lots of safety advice which will not only keep you safe it will give you confidence to do so. Had a couple of coaching sessions with Paul for open water cold swimming. Paul was great and put us at ease immediately. His calm and confident nature really makes you feel safe. He has a great deal of knowledge which he repeats enough so that you don't forget the important stuff. You can tell how passionate Paul is about his work, it was a pleasure to be coached by him. Two classes down thus far and I'll definitely be doing more. Really good fun, brilliant tuition and my swimming technique has improved, as well as my safety knowledge. I fully recommend it to anyone in the area, particularly so you can start making the most of the best natural resource we have in this area!

Tried cold water swimming with Paul earlier this week. Highly recommended and an excellent experience. Provided all the information and equipment needed for the lesson. Talked us through the safety guidelines and how to stay out of trouble. Would recommend Paul to anyone thinking about taking some guidance into cold water swimming!
