The care and support i received at GE was beyond amazing. Literally every single midwife was nice and support, to the extent that i would say loving. Even at the points where you are both frustrated! They reacted so quickly to everything, really understood my needs, and didn't leave my side for a minute. The aftercare was amazing and much better than i received before too. They gave us time for skin to skin and then supported me to get showered and changed which i didnt receieve and support with in the other hospital. It was like having my mum there with me! All the checks and everything have been so well done and thorough. If Lynn, Tania or Nirmala see this, thank you so much for making me feel so supported, you are all amazing and Lynn who was by my side the whole time I'll never forget your kindness ❤️

Absolutely amazing. I totally recommend it. They made us feel at home and my first pregnancy was well supported throughout by all the midwives. In particular thank you Tania, you are the sweetest midwife I ever met. I wish you all the success cause you truly deserve it

I had my baby on the 18th September 2023, let’s say choosing George Eliot hospital is the easiest decision ever! A little background… I went into Coventry hospital for induction on Tuesday morning. As at Sunday morning I was still waiting for my water to be artificially ruptured after the two induction methods didn’t have me progress past 3cm. By Saturday morning my contractions were getting stronger and unbearable. But there was nothing they can do as there was still no space in labour ward to break my waters. It had gotten so bad I was struggling to walk properly by Sunday. I still wasn’t receiving any support or update without asking. Sunday afternoon, we were asked if we want to be transferred to George Eliot if they have space, we gladly accepted it! Best decision ever!! Right from arriving at the hospital through to delivering my beautiful daughter, the George Eliot staff were all I imagined I wanted at such a vulnerable point in my life. So supportive, walked me through every process and ensured both my husband and I were relaxed, informed and carried along all the way! The atmosphere was just perfect for our little princess’s arrival! She was born less than 12hrs after we got there! I can’t thank the midwives enough - Ellie, Jackie, Paris, Nicky to name a few! My family and I are forever grateful and can’t stop singing the praises of George Eliot hospital maternity staff!

I gave birth on February 24, 2023 at George Eliot Hospital, caesarean section. Everything was wonderful, I thank them from the bottom of my heart for the care they had for me and for my baby girlđź’•

All of the staff have been absolutely amazing and reacted so quickly when my wife went into labour. The aftercare has been second to none and every staff member has given us support and kindness all the way though. I really can't recommend the maternity ward highly enough.

I had the best experience here. My midwives Jackie and Ruth absolutely outstanding during the labour. From my antenatal care, hospital appointments to labour, everything outstanding. I highly recommend George Elliott maternity unit 🙏

Extremely good care whilst on labour ward. Midwives were so friendly for my second birth. If only I had the same two midwives for my first birth. Listened to everything I wanted and gave great care.

My baby girl was born on 03/10/2023 here, to choose this hospital was the best decision, me and my baby were treated like special guests in a five stars hotel, the staff were super supportive and professional.
