Another hidden gem. Most people think of Hamleys and the Disney Store in London as the premier Toy stores in town. FAO Schwarz the 159 year old New York toy shop, has had a residency on the 4th floor in Selfridges, since 2019. There are some great features in here for kids to have a go on (such as a new rendition of the iconic Piano as featured in the Tom Hanks film BIG. Check it out if in town with your kids (or if you want a go on a giant Piano).

Large department store spread across multiple floors. Unlike other high end department stores in London, Selfridges felt refreshingly open and not cramped. Staff were friendly and attentive. Their Christmas section was also wonderfully decorated.

Great versatile shopping place, with all things luxury. I hate the feeling how I am overlooked by staff because seemingly I am not the “target customer “. I get no perfume samples or any other goodies like others?? It’s fantastic building and you will find so many things you don’t actually need but really want. Harrods treats customers so much more professionally and sadly won’t return to this shopping experience

It looks so modern nowadays... it has lost the classic details that used to impress me in the past, but still has all the charm of one of the best in the world.

My sister and I went to their food hall and we ordered salt beef roll. The role was not very impressive but the salt beef was absolutely amazing. I learnt they they cook the meet for 24 hours🙂👍the meet looks red so I was wondering if they can cook mine more but the manager told me they cook it for 24 hours so it was a relief. We had two salt beef roll and two drinks I paid £41😁😅it is not a cheap place, I have to warn you. We also popped into the retail section, I saw a pair of shoes being sold from £785 🤭🥴 a coat is being sold from £5000 😱🤪there are also more affordable stuff in there but still can not be classified cheap.it is very difficult to find the toilets😂🤣my little brain struggled with it😆I also heard about that it is sold to a Thai group and an Austria group so it is not British owned anymore. The staff is friendly and professional.

Selfridges is a mall spanning various floors with different brands selling various goods. These range from designer clothes, perfumes, bags, electronic equipment, watches and glasses among others. The quality of their product is guaranteed and well priced. The staff in the various boutiques I visited were friendly and helpful despite the crowd. A good place to shop in london

This mall is simply astounding. It's incredibly luxurious and one of the most impressive shopping malls in the world. Even though I couldn't buy anything there, the visit was inspiring. It motivated me to work harder so that one day, I can enjoy shopping here.

You can find designer items here, popular and iconic in the heart of Oxford Street. Helpful and friendly staff. Perfumes and make-up items are on street level, do visit different floors with lots of items on display. Lots of cafes to fuel your energy.

Selfridges is the embodiment of a classic, upmarket British department store. Set in the heart of Oxford Street, you can buy everything from amazing food to games consoles. I absolutely loved our trip here, and would definitely come here again as there’s always something interesting and new to try. Their coffee machine selection is particularly amazing.

Always had a great experience shopping at Selfridges. Has lots of exciting products in one place. The food court always has fresh food. They have a VAST range of make up, perhaps more than any other department store on Oxford Street. If you’re after a particular brand of make up, they are sure to have it!

Super big rich and crazy place to shop fashion, perfumes, cosmetics, jewellery and accessories. I went absolute nuts the first time- any designer brand name it Louis Vuitton, Dior, Channel , Prada and more you can shop! Fashion lovers can spend nearly a day here

Went to my favourite department store yesterday to see the Christmas selection and was not one bit disappointed unlike with another high end department store nearby (Harrods). Seems like Selfridges is making Christmas a big occasion as it should be and is in the mood for a party atmosphere! Was going to purchase gifts from Harrods for family but ended up buying them from Selfridges instead where they were much much bigger and better a selection!

Everything in here is now 100% designer and overpriced (£350 for plain black Missoni tracksuit bottoms). Used to love the mix of designer and high street fashion selfridges stocked and the fun vibe. Reminds me of Harvey Nicks now.

No doubt, it’s the best place in London for shopping. You can always find nice clothing from different brand here, with occasional limited crossover / edition. When it comes to discount season, it will even turn into a paradise for hunting good stuff.

This mall has a huge selection of very expensive items. It's endless. They also have a really great restaurant inside called BRASSERIE OF LIGHT RESTAURANT & BAR which is very beautiful and the food is delicious and the prices are very good.

Haven’t been here in years but love exploring all the different floors every time I do visit. So many things too see and taste. The food hall is always a must visit when on Oxford street. Also, the sweets and confectioneries in the basement. Be careful because you can get carried away with all the wonderful and amazing things one offer. Weekend can get a be crazy and over crowded.

Selfridges! Can’t go wrong’ luxury brands from across the world in one spot! From fashion to food to electronics to cinema they do it the best! Usually Selfridges is known for fashion, but you are missing out on the tech stuff that’s on the bottom floor’ also their food section!

Popped into Selfridges food hall to pick-up a takeaway brunch and was wowed by the incredible spread of fresh produce. Not the cheapest option but absolute heaven! The closest gardens were not open to the public but we walked to Grovenor Square to picnic. Returned later that day for a takeaway supper for our train journey home. 😋

From Diamonds to luxury goods, watches, perfumes, toys, technology, shoes, top designer labels, teas, coffees and lovely stuff at the food hall. All good things even after all these years on Oxford street. Sale now on...sort of... but still a lovely day out. And Wimbledon tennis live on screen in one of the many nice cafes in the magnificent store

It was very busy when we visited, but they have some good areas, lots of different things for the whole family, all depending on your interests and tastes. Clothing, tech, candy & chocolates and lots more such as sunnies, bags, scarves and all the brands you can think of.

Selfridges was founded in 1909 by retail maverick Harry Gordon Selfridge. Harry Gordon had a revolutionary approach to business, putting theatre and experience at the heart of the Selfridges brand. They continue to honour this rich and storied founding spirit by weaving creative experimentation, activism, and cultural enrichment through our extraordinary customer experience. Selfridges is more than a shop. It is a landmark destination and social centre where everyone is welcome. Powered by imagination and filled with creative spirit, we invite collaboration and congregation. From our in-house cinema, restaurants and bars, skate bowl and extraordinary cultural program to our ever-evolving roster of collaborators - artists, designers and innovative new brands - we are a creative playground in which to discover and share new ideas. The only store to be named Best Department Store in the World four times, Selfridges is committed to transformational change across all platforms to make the act of shopping responsible, purposeful and riotously fun.

what can I say. It's Selfridges you really have to go to experience it. The amount of tech here makes me so happy. Furthermore the wide range of designer clothes is amazing. One thing is that you must have very deep pockets to come here as most things come with a hefty price tag.

My favourite department store in London. It is huge and has the most amazing products from affordable to ultimate luxury , something for everyone. It is the second largest department store after Harrods. For me is the best department store in the world. The building is majestic and huge decorated with Ionic Columns and The Queen of time is reigning over the glorious main entrance. You will be amazed by the window display which is carefully made and usually is very modern. The theme today was the future. I went there to see a small exhibit in Redefined meat and to taste their 3D printed plant based meat which I could do in 2 of the many restaurants inside. The food-hall is high end food heaven and also plenty of vegan options. There are plenty of staff everywhere around the store who were very helpful. It was crowded enough to have the London shopping buzz but not overly crowded. If you have never been to Selfridges you must go and easiest way to approach it would be from Marble Arch in my opinion. Enjoy the experience.

A feel good place. Classy and prestigious. Has many departments, best of which the electronic appliances and home items. Also got interiors, lighting and bedding sections Men, women and kids fashion. Toys and library. The food hall is quite nice too. Good location with easy transport in the middle of Oxford st. Everything you need in one place.. make sure you have a lot of cash to carry 😁 💰 💳 💷 💰

Selfridges in London truly impressed me with its enthusiastic staff. I visited many boutiques, including Tiffany and Cartier, to find the perfect engagement ring and Christmas gifts. The sales associates were warm and helpful throughout. I also admired a wide selection of rare watches from AP and Rolex. Whether you’re on a budget and looking for cosmetics on the ground floor or in the market for high-end bags and jewelry, Selfridges has it all. It’s an ideal destination for fashion-forward individuals and luxury enthusiasts alike

Nice food market. Go to the 'Pleasant Lady' and order the Jing Bing. And for dessert the 'humble crumble'

Great shopping experience all under one roof. Inventory still seems low after the pandemic but it is improving. Plenty of in store coffee, drinks and dining places on most floors.

Clean with very well appointed departments! Makes shopping fun if you love designer names in one place. Came here for sneakers but enjoyed all levels… esp the electronics in the lower level.

A luxury shopping experience! Awe inducing high end luxury and clean, but can be crowded in late afternoons. The Christmas shoppe and experiential electronics sections also recommended. Give the upper level toy shopping experience a try, the walkable working 🎹 is a cool treat.

My favourite place is food hall :). You get 50% off on almost all of the fresh food in the last hour of closing. All major and high street brands available. Pleasant shopping experience whenever I am here. I always do walk on the Oxford St all the way to China Town whenever I am at Selfridges.

Excellent service across departments in store and also online. Selfridges now has a cinema, changing exhibitions, a skate bowl and an amazing art book department. There are points of interest on every floor and on a quiet day the customer experience is wonderful.

Selfridges is one of London's foremost department stores. It is located on Oxford Street and contains a myriad of concessions offering a selection of middle and high-end merchandise. As you enter the shop, try and take in the original frontage, which is exquisitely modelled in bronze. If you are visiting around the festive season, be sure to visit the store and take in its amazing window displays and interior decoration.

Great, we love it. Went for window shopping and came out with few items. The cashier in the children lunch bag area was fantastic.

Fantastic place, by far the best department store in London, has every kind of shop and item you could possibly want. Apart from this the store is wonderful in architectural design, lighting and presentation, not to mention spotless. It’s a must for anyone who enjoys shopping for deals in a world class location.

I like Selfridges an old beautiful building from the outside, with an iconic beautiful clock at the main entrance. In contrast to the inside which is stylish modern an airy. This store for me is less snooty than other well known department stores in London.

Fantastic department store offering high end products and experiences to customers. Well worth a visit if shopping is your thing Great food hall, Technology and fashion/fashion accessories department. Christmas decor is the best both in and outside the store Some nice little eating and drinking establishments also tucked away make sure you check them out Impressive and I don’t do shopping much 👍

They have the largest jellycat plushy collection in London. There is a giant bashful bunny plushy on display, which you can hug and take pictures with. There is also a store-exclusive bashful honey bunny plushy. You can also get your name embroidered on its ear within 20-30 minutes, up to 11 characters.
