My dining experience at Kanada-ya Ramen in London left much to be desired. From the outset, the service was disheartening, with a waitress who appeared rather reluctant to assist us. To make matters worse, when my order of chicken ramen finally arrived, it was disappointingly lukewarm, lacking the warmth and flavor one would expect. Moreover, I couldn't help but notice that the overall cleanliness of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. This combination of lackluster service, subpar food temperature, and cleanliness concerns left me with a less than favorable impression of this establishment. Will never visit again.

I have been here 3 times now and it is seriously the best ramen I have ever eaten. We had the Tonkotsu X and the Gekikara (first photo) and if I could rate it higher I would. The egg is amazing, I always order extra everytime and can’t recommend it enough. The pork is fantastic and the broth is to die for. Amazing service by all staff members, quick wait times and really freaking good food. Definitely worth visiting. 100/100.

Very good ramen, great staff and attentive! Things went downstream when I went to their toilets, flies around the walls, very dirty, very disgusting and it says a lot to the hygiene, so kind of didn’t feel the best leaving. It is right next to their kitchen downstairs. Please refurbish your toilets and get them to a nice standard. Especially since it is right next to the kitchen. The taps were in pretty bad shape. Their payment system says discretionary 12.5% fee. I tried paying online and maybe changing this and it didn’t allow me. Please give users to add more or remove it completely since this charge is completely optional. The staff there though were great.

Solid Ramen in a very small shop. Stay away from the vegan option though, it goes without flavour. The shop has a nice style and a young vibe to it. There are not many seats so I wouldn’t recommend to be more than 2 people each time.

Good ramen at a decent price, service is quick, order came exactly as ordered. Noodles cooked exactly as I requested, the tonkotsu broth was amazing, gyoza was perfect and the toppings were perfectly portioned.

Best ramen I have ever had ! This was really special. The truffle ramen was so tasty. It was authentic Japanese ramen. The shop itself is tiny and you are super cramped in but it is great to visit alone or with 1 other person.

I haven’t tried ramen before, and this place was recommended to me by a friend. I did enjoy it there. Staff was nice too. Food was served as quickly as possible, steaming hot. I loved it!

Great tasting Japanese that s also comforting! Have eaten here on a few occasions and food has always been great, fresh and yummy. The actual venue has a nice vibe but is quite small and packed

It was the best ramen I had in England. The chef had a high understanding of Japanese ramen. It's delicious when you finish the noodles and put the rice in the soup. The service is also friendly. The price range is a little high and the seats may be a little small, but it's okay

Ramen is one of the best I had in London. They don't take reservations, so you will need to queue, it took 30 mins but the food is worth it. You get to choose how firm you want your noodles (i recommend the firmest option). You get some free toppings (ie. Seaweed, pickled veg) but others you'll need to pay for. I 100% recommend getting the egg. Seating can be quite tight and we were sat near the door which can have cold draughts of wind and you could get accidentally hit by the door. I got the Cha Mori, Karaage and a lemonade. Ramen is perfection (though I could have more noodles..). Karaage was OK. You can get extra broth and noodles for 4.5. They have a 12.5% service charge and they take card. On the card machine, there's an option to pay additional gratuity.

Would have given 10 stars for the ramen if I could. If you are tempted to go to Ippuddo because of Kanada-ya’s long line, stay. Kanada-ya’s ramen ranks among the very best with its peers in Japan. This is from a former resident of Tokyo. Ramen at its finest.

Very disappointed with the service in this branch. Waited for my food (roughly 20-30 minutes) only to be told that they lost my order. I was one of the first few customers who arrived for dinner on a Monday. If I did not follow-up because all the people who came after me were already eating, I wouldn’t know that my order was lost. None of the staff noticed that my food was not delivered yet when most of the people who came after me already got their orders. And when I decided to just pay for the drink instead and not take the ramen anymore, I was told that they are already making it, so essentially, I had no choice but to just wait for it (because I went here to satisfy a craving and not to waste food) and pay for it. Regarding the food, the Ramen was nice. I wish the spicy paste was a little bit more spicy though. Good thing, I really liked the cold Green Tea, that is why I am still very cool despite my hunger. =) In total, I paid £16 for everything. I hope this is just an isolated incident because this ramen shop was highly recommended by many people.

The ramen is delicious, not too salty. And i love the payment app which allows splitting of bills effortlessly and is so efficient. It is a eat and scoot place not for hanging around with friends as the place is small.

Lovely quaint little place. Love the vibe. Polite welcoming staff, nice turnover of customers so not a place to linger long. It’s very small. Small cozy tables. Think it can seat up to 22/24 people guessing. Food was tasty! And I want to try more dishes! Loved the pork noodles spring onions and egg in the tonkotsu x I opted not to have the ear fungus in my dish. If you’ve never had it it has a cartilage kind of crunch to it. Just not for me. It’s well deserving of its name. I 100 percent recommend the crepe dessert paired with a tea! I was seated at table 10 where there was an under table vent letting in the cold winter air which had to be taped up as the plastic kept falling off. Apart from that lil issue I love the place!

amazing authentic ramen + they do student discount! surprisingly there wasn’t a queue when i visited so we were seated very quickly and service was very quick. the staff are very friendly also. the broth is very rich and yummy and the cha siu is great too! the egg does cost extra but i highly recommend you get one! they have perfectly jammy egg yolks and so much flavour has absorbed into the whites. we both got the noodles cooked hard (the recommended firmness) and honestly no complaints. i think this is also quite a budget friendly place. i believe after student discount, the truffle ramen + egg was about £16 and the tonkotsu x was around £11. overall very good value for money! this is somewhere i will be sure to visit again and i highly recommend others to visit too!

The ramen was really excellent, the kaarage was ok as well as the gyoza but the onigri was way too salty, too bad! They have that system where you see the menu and can pay on a web app directly. Still very good for a quick soup if you are around.

Delicious ramen!!! One of the best I've ever had, especially with the extra egg which was amazing in flavor. Service very fast and nice, possible payment via QR code, which is very convenient and fast. Unfortunately, be prepared for a long queue to enter, because the place is quite small. The big plus is that the wait was worth it. 😊❤️

The most authentic Japanese ramen in London. You can choose how hard you’d like to have your noddles, just like having ramen in Japan. Also, the chicken karaage is also really delicious. The service is fast. I would recommend for people who likes Japanese ramen.

The wait was a little over 5mins without reservations. Orders were taken quickly but food took a while to be served. Daughter loves her salmon onigiri. Hubby liked his tonkatsu x noodles. I didn’t like my tofu noodles.

Lovely staffs and very good ramen. Recommend spicy yusu if you can take a little heat. The place is a little tight and big party (more than 2) will probably have to be broken up unless the store is not at their usual business. Fyi, they don' take reservations. So be prepared to queue up.

We ordered the spicy broth ramen (sorry forgot the name) and the tonkotsu. Both broth was rich and the texture of the noodles were great and adjustable to your liking. The spicy broth one was so delicious and was our favourite! The portion was good as well. The shop is small and there is a long queue most of the time during peak hours, make sure you come early! It is definitely worth the wait.

Have been here twice and ordered the same thing both times. It was the Gekikara. Fantastic experience the first time around and was extremely spicy, while the second time around wasn't as spicy and that was something I wanted. Otherwise it's a great choice but be warned: it's hot! Ordering is a little bit slow unless you're ready for your order to be taken when the staff come around the first time. The second time I was there I had a minor inconvenience of being given an egg without being asked and expected to pay for it. Fortunately it was resolved relatively promptly with the manager. I recommend getting in before 12:30 for lunch or before 5:30 for dinner, after that you're queuing for ages, which is a testament to the good food.

One of the best ramen I’ve ever had in my life!! I strongly recommend this! Gekikara was very tasty and the chicken karage was delicious

Best ramen I’ve had in London. Very attentive waitress. The restaurant is small and can get loud, there’s always a queue outside but it’s worth the wait. I wouldn’t suggest it for big groups but it’s nice for 2/3 people.

Absolutely delicious ramen - the sweet pork collar was exceptional and perfectly offset the rich broth in the ramen. Super quick service, and very busy - be prepared to share a table

Recommended from a friend, and it did not disappoint. I had great food. The service was also great from the staff, specially the waiter with glasses, that made me feel welcome and comfortable. He also gave me a good personal recommendation for the dessert which I enjoyed a lot! The atmosphere was fitting and clean, and it seemed many people were coming from all over to dine here, and now I understand why. When I'm back in London, I'll be sure to come back here!
