My husband and I were searching for a nice place to have dinner during our visit to London. We decided to cross the Hammersmith bridge and see what restaurants are on the other side and we found this place. It wasn't very busy when we arrived So we got a really nice seat near the window. We both ordered from the set menu, I got a lamb pasta dish with calamari and he got lasagna with bruschetta. We were both very pleased with the food, the bread and the wine. They also provided some olives as an appetizer. The service was excellent and very friendly We definitely recommend this place!

What a difference a year makes - this was a lovely place with great service when it opened last year. Now there is only one server. And when the restaurant was fully booked on Saturday night, this made for extremely slow service. Our reserved table had been changed because there was a group with children in the restaurant. So our reserved table was given away and we were stuck beside the group with a very noisy child who was not supervised by the 6 adults at the table. The child's screaming and screeching were terrible. Turns out the group were friends of the waitress so nothing was done about the disturbance. Two of our group of three ordered pasta which was so garlic-laiden it was overpowering. While there lots of clam shells, most were empty! It was difficult to get the waitress to come to our table and it took nearly 30 minutes to get the bill at 10:15pm. I no longer recommend this restaurant although I do hope it will improve.

We found this restaurant while walking down from Hammersmith bridge. The ambiance looked genuine Italian (as I am), and we decided to stop by for dinner. It did not disappoint. Throughout the evening, we enjoyed a realistic Italian atmosphere, with great service, and tasty food. I chose a pollo alla milanese (panfried breaded chicken), and my girlfriend ordered the branzino della casa (seabass, which was fresh and sizeable). We look forward to be back, as it felt like home away from home for me.

Excellent tasting food. Generous portions. This is what good Italian food is. Try the grilled sea bass. The best. Well done. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, warm and friendly atmosphere. There are three Italian restaurants on this short stretch of road -- this one is by far the best; and the best value for money!
