Ben at BFR Physiotherapy has been a superb physio for both myself and my son this year. His knowledge and skill set is second to none, and he combines this with a great personality. Don’t look anywhere else.

From the very beginning, Paul was warm and welcoming, putting me at ease and taking the time to thoroughly understand the specific issues I was facing. He didn't rush things and answered all my questions, and if I wasn't making progress, he adjusted the plan. Would recommend Paul to anyone!

These guys fix me every time I break - which is depressingly becoming more frequent: knees, shoulder, trapped nerve, disc/back, sciatica, Achilles, calf. Amazingly knowledgeable, friendly and positive and I recommend them without any hesitation. Hope you don’t need to use them.

Had a really good experiance with BFR. Paul has helped me with a couple of injury rehabs. With both the injury and the rehab he explains the 'why' as well as the 'what', which I find really helpful. Would recommend!

Ben was instrumental in me completing the 2022 London Marathon. He not only nursed me back from my Achilles injury but also through his sound advise and knowledge gave me confidence and a plan that I could execute. I recommend BFR physiotherapy for their personalised treatment and great customer service.

Paul Head is a first-class physiotherapist. I have seen him for three issues; chronic shoulder pain, chronic back pain, and post-surgical bicep rehabilitation. He fixed my shoulder pain in a single session, where other physiotherapists had failed to make any improvements to it in over 10 sessions. My shoulder pain had been an ongoing issue for approximately two years before seeing Paul. I am an amateur boxer and the pain had been getting steadily worse over those two years. He gave me some strengthening exercises and the problem was sorted before my next appointment. Truly amazing. I decided to see Paul for my chronic back pain as well. My reasoning is that if he was able to help my shoulder in a single session, he will certainly be helpful with my life-long chronic back pain as well. I get occasional back flare-ups which put me out of action for multiple weeks each time. Paul has really helped with my back, and I haven’t had a flare-up since starting my sessions. Sadly, our progress has been paused due to an accidental arm injury that I suffered… Paul has helped me recover quicker, and stronger, from a boxing accident where I detached my left bicep (distal biceps rupture). I saw him about four weeks after the surgery, and I regret not seeing him sooner. The work that he has done with the strengthening of my arm has been invaluable. He has applied his PhD research on blood-flow restriction; initially to stop the muscle atrophy, and subsequently to build me back up to my pre-injury levels. Overall, I cannot recommend Paul highly enough.

Referred via Bupa following a quadriceps tendon repair. I'm 53 & no athlete(!), but Paul's approach ensured a greatly accelerated recovery & strength building. First class knowledge, methods, professionalism, and friendliness. Highly recommended!

I was suffering from the long term after effects of a spinal fracture, having only had video calls from the NHS. Paul rapidly identified the treatment needed and has always been determined that further improvement is possible. The treatment I received was a good balance of hands-on treatment at my sessions with a manageable exercise regime in between. The improvement has been great, I have tools available to maintain progress and address any minor problems that arise and an assurance that I can return whenever necessary. Appointments always seem to be available quickly.
