Nice vibe, nice food. A little slow on the service, could be a bit more attentive. Bar staff are great, but the restaurant needs to be managed a bit better. The reservation system let's it down...

Grade 2 listed old fire station converted into a gastro pub. We didn't stop for food, just a drink. Great location alongside London Waterloo. Huge selection of beer available on tap. I had Erdinger. Polite, friendly, efficient service. Cash accepted.

Had a great time at the station, stopped for a breakfast and some drinks 🍸, so you do on a Friday. Food was good and reasonable priced for London. Service was slow but it was busy so that is normal. Great atmosphere 👌 loved it. Location if close to Waterloo and the old Vic.

Great location with friendly staff, this pub is gorgeous inside with a nice vibe. It’s usually very busy with after work drinkers and fizzles out the later it is. They have a great selection of drinks and it is perfect for quick bites close to Waterloo station. They have small seated area outside and a separate dining area further inside but also serve food to bar tables. They also have yummy frozen margaritas!

Eddie knocked it out of the park as the best bartender in London! Even while we waited days for the BlackBerry and Cucumber Smash cocktail, he continued to create other cocktails to appease us while their blackberry shipment came in. He was funny, creative and served us some killer cocktails every time! Thanks for being our go-to spot for the week.

Burgers, beer, and big screen sports... what more can a man ask for? (Here for the RWC quarter finals). There are plenty of tables and space. They do more than burgers, of course. The food is what you'd expect for a pub or sports bar. I remember having a great breakfast here before catching a train, but that was a while ago now. I have a soft spot for this pub as I have been coming here on and off since the 90s, so maybe a little bias in my review :-) Tonight, the Hobgoblin wasn't up to scratch, but there are plenty of other lagers, stouts, spirits, and other drinks to choose from - so no worries.

Called in for a quick bit to ear and a drink. Service was a little slow, but the food and drink made up for it. The Goats cheese pizza was lovely accompanied by dirty fries. The Raspberry bellini's on 2 for 1 were excellent, according to my wife.

Dropped in for a short break, and some food. Nice place and nice personnel. Got a place to sit, and ordered something to drink rather quick. Was suggested a burger from one of the staff and went for this one. Initially it looked good, but it was to "fatty/greasy" for my taste. The side dishes was ok. I would most likely go there again, because of the staff/location, but I will most certainly order something else.

Service amazing. Barman serving three at once. Guinness Fantastic. The Guinness Guru would be in the mid to high 8's if he was still reviewing. Definitely recommend for an after work pint.

Most of the staff were helpful & welcoming. The food came out in good time, it was unfortunate that the waitress had forgotten two orders so most were finished eating when they got their orders. We had a birthday celebration and the team played a birthday song, lit the candles and brought the cake out with plates and cutlery. I can’t fault the experience it was a good choice!

Elizabeth provided top-notch service throughout my entire night at the bar. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and ensured I felt welcomed. Throughout the evening, she consistently checked in to make sure I had everything I needed, from refilling my drink promptly to recommending delicious menu items. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanor truly enhanced my experience. Elizabeth's dedication to customer satisfaction is commendable, and I will definitely be returning thanks to her outstanding service.

Great experience with a child! Dua was awesome and so helpful from the moment we walked in. My son got to play with a whole set of colors while we waited, which was wonderful. Good food and fast service. We got the meat pizza, a kids pizza with hummus and vegetables as a starter, and a bacon cheese burger with some loaded fries. All was good.

Great food and great service. The team member who seated us was happy to accommodate a change of seating that better suited our party. Restaurant was very busy but food came out at a good pace. If up that way again would definitely revisit

It's a great place for a catch up with friends. We were not disturbed, it was not too busy so we didn't feel that we had to rush. I love the naked burger, I've not experienced that before, just right for me. I had a cup of tea, teapot, absolutely brilliant, an excellent cup of tea, which is unusual in many eating places

A large group of us came here for brunch before a work event. The service was great and the food was fantastic. I had the halloumi shakshuka and it was so delicious! When you are with a big group of people where people are adding extras or taking away from menu items, sometimes it inevitable that something isn't right, but it was all perfect and served up in good time. The server was friendly and really attentive. The location is superb so close to the station, selection of food and drink also spot on. I would absolutely recommend this to other and will definitely return!

Went in here on Friday after a bad day at work. Good selection of beers and the food was good as well. An Irish guy behind the bar, I think was called Eddie, was great fun and cheered me up no end. It is nice when bar staff take the time to give good customer service however busy the bar is. Nice place I would recommend a visit.

Former firehouse turned restaurant near the Waterloo station. I expected more memorabilia, but the "Dirty Bird" is an amazing fried chicken sandwich. The watermelon rum drink not so much. Chill after work crowd most of whom just came in for a pint or glass of wine.

We sat here for a couple hours enjoying our coffees, pizzas and tacos. Service was great, and the atmosphere was really nice too.

Wasn’t sure about coming in to eat however pleasantly surprised and service was impeccable. Lovely man with a beard and glasses serving us to the highest standard, ensured we were happy the entire way through and brought us fresh water etc without us having to ask. Pleasant atmosphere and highly recommend! Food was lovely too, but service like such makes the experience valuable.

We choose the fire station because it has looked good from the street and is dead handy for Waterloo. The food was great and we had a nice table in the rear section. It was Friday night though. The after work crowd was loud and the music was pumping. If you are looking for that then great, but if you want a nice social meal come before the evening or choose elsewhere.

Lovely welcoming staff, with a great memory for our order. Great for kids with a good menu, even for a 1yo! Food was really well made. They even had Beavertown on tap which you can’t go wrong with. Super

Great place. No idea why someone would want it demolished. It holds the spirig of the fire station from the past, so is different to a tradigional pub, a cafe or a restaurant. Great for larger companies as it has large tables and benches. Drinks are fine.

Great experience. Booked the fire station for a festive work meal. Booking was easy and managers we're really responsive and helpful throughout the process. On the day, Elizabeth was a sensational host. We had multiple comments from lots of our party about how great the service was, how responsive the service was. Would definitely organise another meal here

What a lovely experience, I booked this for our team Christmas lunch and it did not disappoint. The service was smooth and the staff very attentive. Everyone enjoyed all their food, I had the roast turkey which was delicious, perfectly cooked turkey, roast potatoes and veggie. Having everyone's name places and what they had ordered on the table was just a great touch, again this made the whole experience so smooth and enjoyable. Would highly recommend, great food at a great price! thank you

Unfortunately we had quite a disappointing visit at the Fire Station. We booked for a bottomless brunch for 3 people and were very let down by the service. We ordered promptly after arriving and it then took 30 minutes to receive our first drinks order which came after our food. The food was also not as expected with the hash brown nachos arriving cold as if they had been sat around waiting to be served to us. We had all been to bottomless brunches at other establishments and were expecting a similar service whereby the server would replenish our drinks as we ordered them. However in the first half (one hour) of our booking here, we had only had 2 Prosecco drinks each. Even though we were constantly trying to get the servers attention but often found there were no staff members in the section we were sat. At one point we had been waiting half an hour to be served a drink so went up to the bar but unfortunately were told we could not order up there. We were very frustrated and let down by the service and were disappointed at the price per person for the service we received. We even asked the server at one point if it was really busy could we order two drinks to save them the back and forth, at this they said, “no, it’s not too busy”. We felt frustrated at this as it seemed we were just being forgotten about in our section and often saw the server sat down performing other job tasks rather than serving us as we tried to get their attention. Due to this we would not return to this site and won’t be recommending to others. Really disappointing.

Very poor service. The food was good but we had to ask every time about our drinks order. We did not know who our waitress was. Plates were not cleared and we were over charged. Essentially good food but non existent service. However there was one waitress (not ours) who was excellent and was clearly trying to do the job her colleagues should be doing. It wasn’t even busy.

It was a mixed bag experience. I made some last minute changes to the booking and the restaurant was very understanding about this, which I really appreciated. The service was also mixed, we had to request a diet Pepsi 5 times before it arrived. At one point a waitress told us off for being noisy as we were in the quiet section -not sure why we were put there as it was an annual Xmas lunch with uni friends. The main was excellent (although we had to request cranberry sauce) but the starter and desert were not good. The staff ensured that we had our table in the bar after the meal, which was appreciated.

We called in here after visiting the Tate. We had lunch the pizzas were really good I especially liked the goats cheese one. Others in party had chicken which was also good. The pub was fairly busy with lots of England rugby fans but food service. & service from the bar was great. Highly recommend if you are around that area.

Cause for dinner with my partner, we were greeted by our waitress, Elizabeth, at the door and she took care of us for the night. Her service was extraordinary!! She made us feel so welcome and made us laugh! The food was excellent thanks to chef Alex and Sandeep! Overall we will definitely be coming again and hopefully we’ll see Elizabeth again!!

I had an exceptional experience at Fire Station Waterloo. The dirty burger, in particular, was a standout with its incredible flavors, and the patty was cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable – attentive and friendly. A must-visit for those seeking a delightful culinary and dining experience.
