This bar is super cool. All you have to do is buy a drink and then you can play unlimited arcade games. It was around 11 pm and it was not too crowded. They have tables with game systems on the big screen TVs too. It’s loud and the energy is positive. The street parking was fine. Definitely an adult crowd in comparison to the 16-Bit Bar+Arcade in Dublin.

Great time playing old school video games with family and friends. 🍺 on tap cold and delicious! Staff could not have been more gracious and attentive. If you go early enough they do allow gamers under 21.

I've actually been here twice but it's always such a fun experience. We went tonight and it was not packed like it was the last time so we were able to play smash bros on the Nintendo. They have a lot of games to choose from and some behind the bar. I got the game over (which comes with a free glass) & and a hulk Hogan which comes with a popsicle in it, everyone I was with was so excited just to be there. Always a good time ❤️

Its a fun place, but drinks are expensive. I paid $14 for one 9-12oz looking drink before tip. The real catch is that they don’t accept any cash at all, but also charge you a fee to use a credit card (the fee being something they don’t list anywhere until after the transaction). Although I love going to this place I don’t think I can continue going with these prices and fees.

This is the original location! If you want a little slice of history, this 16 bit arcade is not connected to a duckpin bowling location. It’s about six blocks away, an easy walk. They offer all sorts of drinks and the best collection of arcade games out of any of the Pinz locations in Columbus.

Cool spot to visit from time to time. Good drink options for everyone. We come often over the past several years because my fiancé and I like Buck Hunter. The game hasn’t worked right for years. We still give it a shot and hope of one of these times it works well! Luckily they have other games but nothing in there compares.

Meet up with some friends I hadn't seen in a long time and had a great time. The drinks are cheaper than I thought they would be for a place in Easton. Tremendous place to just relax and have fun playing old video games. Very much a trip down memory lane.

Went to the arcade on a Tuesday night with my boyfriend we had a good experience until we went to the bar for another drink. the bartenders Approach when asked for patron first stated “ it’s a little pricey” . After ignoring her comment she then noticed me with my cup that I had brought from home but upon entry the doorman checked my id and let myself and my boyfriend in with our own personal cups. She said in a very rude tone “you can throw the cups away or you can get” out mind you this was our first warning and there is no signs with no outside drinks. My boyfriend and I were not only asked to leave but we were escorted out After we had voluntarily thrown our cups away that we brought in. A completely unsatisfactory experience and I hope that they coach and train were necessary.

Really cute place in a great location with lots of fun games. My only complaint was a dbl well whiskey was 18 bucks! Little pricey.

Wonderful, free, and family friendly arcade perfect after Dirty Frank’s Hotdog Palace!

Cool place with games and beer. All the games are free except the pinball machines.

The location wasn't terrible considering it is located downtown, but there were 2 men asking for money and food n such right outside. They were told to leave but came back, so that was the worst. The staff inside were very nice and accommodating. All the machines worked, and there were no issues. Overall, it was a fun place to visit for a bit.

Overpriced. $36 for two drinks that should barely break $20. Hadn't been there in awhile and it was emptier than I'd ever seen. There's at least one explanation. Update: The Owner responded saying, "We appreciate the feedback Kyle. Be sure to check out our weekly specials and happy hour for discounted drinks." Condescending much? Why would I come back in hopes to pay what is regular price everywhere else? This place can get bent.

Awesome selection of old arcade games. Turtles in time, X-Men, NBA Jam, Blitz 99 to name a few. All free to play if you grab some drinks. They had some pretty cool mixed drinks all named after movie stars. Bar staff was very friendly!

We had an enjoyable time having some drinks & playing some games during a summer Tues night.

Cute bar, lots of games, all free to play if you get a drink. Drinks are great and have fun names and come with some sweet thing. There got an n64, super Nintendo, and Sega console for play even! I tried the Betty boop, the princess peach, and the Lisa frank and all were delicious! Pictured are the Lisa frank in the back and princess peach in the front.

Brought our dogs here on a Saturday afternoon. The dogs were warmly welcomed and allowed inside (it wasn’t busy, so not sure if it’s always allowed! But outside definitely). Good games and good beer.

We had a great time. Super helpful and friendly staff. Dogs were welcomed inside with their own treat bag. Games selection is fun, particularly the retro console selection.

Fun place! Bartender recommended a strawberry cider to me and it was delicious. My partner found the smores drink to be way too strong and sweet, but that's a preference thing I suppose. My partner, friend, and I played a bunch of mario kart on the n64, and we hit most of the other arcade machines and pinball machines. I got my butt kicked in mortal kombat. We had a really fun, chill time, and it wasn't busy on a Sunday night. Also we got ID checked before we even entered, which was a kinda pleasant surprise. Since I turned 21 some months back, this is actually the first place to ID me for alcohol. Some of the other bars I went to didn't.

Loved it. Not my first barcade, but definitely the best so far. The drink menu was nice and I enjoyed an alcohol-free drink while my friends downed mixed drink after mixed drink. One friend kept getting a drink with a Bombpop popsicle in it and I thought that was a nice touch. There was a variety of videogames to choose from. The only bummy thing about it was the TMNT Turtles in Time machine being down. I hope it's fixed the next time I visit Columbus because this barcade is becoming a required stop on future Columbus adventures.

Today was the 2nd time a bartender here ripped us off, after checking our bank account. 1st time we just shrugged it off, thought it was an honest mistake but 2nd time? Not so much. Get receipts and double check the math. Make sure they are honoring happy hour deals and not adding extra to pocket.

They don't serve food here but the 5 stars is for the drinks Love 16 bit, haven't had a bad drink or interaction with staff ever. 10/10 definitely recommend

Popped in on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn’t crowded but still a fun environment. The arcade games are from the 80’s and 90’s and were all working when we were there. They’re on free play except for the pin ball machines which require quarters. They offer non alcoholic beverages as well as cocktails and beer.

If I need a dose of nostalgia, I come here to play all my favorite Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 games. They also have the classics like Dig Dug and Pac Man. Highly recommend it for date night after dinner at Little Palace. The drink specials are hilarious, and Jaime and Nick will be sure give you good recommendations!

We came for the pinball, but stayed for the N64! Our bartender Al kept us on our toes, but the drinks were fantastic.

Came here for the first time from Canada and loved it! Unique, fun, generous drinks for a great price. Good variety of games that were free to play if you were drinking with the exception of the pinball machines. We had a great afternoon there!

As someone who does not drink, I absolutely love this bar. I first visited years ago when I was in town for a wedding and I was happy to see that they are still in business! They have an awesome selection of old games, including and N64 and an old Playstation. You could seriously come here every night for a year and have a different experience every time. My only complain is that they need to fix the joystick on Galaga machine - but I'm sure they already know that ;-) If you are a resident of Columbus or just passing through like we were, you must visit this place. It's easy to get to from both the Short North and German village so you have no excuses! This would also be a fun first date idea...

Awesome place! Arcade games but also big screen tvs with old gaming systems set up. We played Nintendo 64, it was great! Drinks were amazing as well.

A cool "Barcade" in a convenient location. As long as you buy drinks you play all the arcade games you want for free. Which is really cool. And it's right next to Mikey's late night slice. Pizza and beer is a great duo.

I was in when my classmates met here for a pre-reunion gathering because I loved arcades back in the day. But when I got there and found out the games were free?! I might have to stop here every night after work! Plus the staff were sweet, the place was clean and they have a great selection of drinks! Love it. New fav place.

I love this place! An absolute must visit any time you visit Columbus. Staff is friendly, great variety of games (including an N64 you can ask for different cartridges for), and very close to everything in downtown CBus. Great hot dog place next door for a late night snack!

Great place to hang out! I like drinking and playing in the arcade area. I try to visit every time I come to town, my favorite drink is “Kevin Bacon”, it’s just delicious! Bartenders are friendly.

My husband and I had such a great time! Nice place to chill, have drinks, and play games and many options to bring food inside nearby.

Had so much fun here and surprised at how good the drinks were. I can’t wait to come back here a second time!

Very fun cocktails with unique garnishes, and Al was a very solid bartender who took his time to make our drinks awesome. We arrived at happy hour so games were free! How can you beat that? Even if you gotta spend some quarters, 16 Bit is the spot to go for some quick fun and booze.
