👍 The location of this venue is very close to my work, making it one of the most convenient stops for a swift drink after business hours. It is relatively new and has some great food. The establishment is clean and has a warm atmosphere. This is a great place to come to with your friends and colleague... People often mention nice, selection, staff,

A great place since it reopened. I drank in here for years when it was the Castle and loved it. Totally different pub now but still nice. Very trendy and although it is a tad pricey, having draft Corona on tap is a dream come true! Staff are friendly too.

Lovely little bar. Be warned they only sell good wine, so the house drinks can be expensive but worth it. Staff are lovely and it's a really nice place to book a party.

Just re-opened after being closed for 3 years. Has been completely rebuilt, except for the historic facade which has been maintained. Modern inside, a decent number of tables but still a fairly small pub compared to others in the area. Was formerly called The Castle before it closed, now renamed to 26 furnival street. Good selection of beer - fairly expensive but so are most places in the area. Food was good, staff were friendly.

Visited for a networking event and fully plan to return to this little hideaway in the future. Service was efficient and friendly. Wine was well priced and fully quaffable but the outstanding part was the food. Even dishes I don't normally enjoy (rice balls) were tasty and morish, as were the fishcakes and croquettas. I really can't wait to try more of their menu and introduce more people to this hidden gem.

Nice pub, it's very cosy but it can get a little too warm at times. Good selection of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic.

Been there when it first opened - 5 stars then. The newer staff need further training to be more polite as it was when it first opened. Great place otherwise and when staff politeness is back to the way it was I'll upgrade to a 5 star again.

Very pleasant and really nice staff, who couldn't be more helpful. Excellent selection of drinks. Enjoyed a couple of hours. Chatting and drinking. Thank you.

Can’t rate the food not had any, but a great pub with friendly staff and a good selection.

Food was very tasty. The service is more of a bar style a lot of time you’d have to go up to the bar to ask for things. But staff was very nice.

The place closes at 10pm not 11pm. The bartender didn’t actually want to serve us and encouraged us to leave at 9:45pm. Wouldn’t come back!

Lovely bar but was quite shocked to pay £45 for a bottle of wine!

Good bar and excellent pizza. The atmosphere is chilled.

Food is very nice but service for large groups can be chaotic (for instance inconsistent portion size doesn't go down well when people can see each other's food, and service is on the slow side for a lunch break). Good selection of beers. Would definitely recommend.

Good ambience and nice selection of food and drinks. Slightly hidden away and has a good character. Very friendly staff.

Great addition to the area. Really nice bar tucked away with a fantastic menu, wine list and selection of beers. We had the short rib and the fish and chips, both were delicious. Also Jupa on tap is pretty moorish! We will be back regularly.
