Room is bit small Rest is fine The YHA London Earl's Court Hostel offers a comfortable stay with generally satisfactory amenities. However, it's worth noting that the rooms are on the smaller side, which may be a consideration for some guests. Nonetheless, the hostel provides a pleasant environment with a range of facilities and services to ensure a convenient and enjoyable stay for visitors exploring London.

Highly recommend! Excellent location for exploring London near transport and lots of food options. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our private room was nice, comfortable beds, individual outlets, no ac though. Rented towels for 2£. Lots of areas to hang out and a good kitchen. Luggage storage for free in a group closet but we had no problems with it. Several toilets and toilet shower combos on each floor and we never had to wait for one. Will absolutely stay here again.

Always a lovely stay at YHA . Fantastic staff. Very helpful will definitely be staying again. Showers and toilets are clean. The rooms are great. And there is outside space which is lovely to sit outside, fab place for families. Breakfast was delicious 😋 too. See you in November.

My daughter and myself stayed for 1 night. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. We like the fact you had a light and charging point on each bunk,I also loved the fact a coat hook was in the room. There was a nice lounge with books and games. The garden area was nice as well. Reception area was good with helpful staff. Easy check in. Great location.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, rooms were perfect for a short stay and everything needed was always available! Would definitely go there again!! They also had great vegan options.

The toilets were gross and the windows let air come through. Also there is a small green safety light that shines 24/7. But the staff is very nice and welcoming and the rooms themselves and also the beds were clean. The rooms also are big enough. For a hostel it is okay! Not bad! But you have to be able to sleep in hostels

Stayed here for couple of nights. Nice and quiet hostel and the staff were polite, friendly and accommodating. Although breakfast was basic, it was filling. It is not an accessible hostel so plan ahead. All the above came with the best part, for me which was it's location. Super easy to travel to all the London's tourist locations.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay here. Easy check in and checkout. We took a triple room with shared bathroom - was skeptical at first but the room and toilets were all very clean. Do note that the shared bathrooms don’t come with amenities so bring your own shampoo and body wash etc. The triple room had a bunk bed (sleeps 1 on top and 2 below) and each bunk had its own charging point and 2 usb points. Our room also had a small sink so you can wash up there instead of hogging the toilets. Very well-thought through and convenient features! Wifi is only available in shared areas 24/7. Shoutout to Jack who’s the duty manager - I left my AirPods behind and he was so prompt in replying my emails and assisting with postage. Seriously could not be more grateful for Jack and his team. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOSTEL. Such good people all around!

Great deal for a price and the location is excellent. We stayed in triple room. The room was clean but smaller, we could use a chair but it's a hostel, so you get what you pay for. The receptionist was really nice and they allowed us to check-in on the next day than booked without any problems.

We stayed here 4 nights. I was surprised by the great communication and friendly receptionist. Location was good, café and bus stop around the corner. The room we had was quite small, with bed and basin. No chairs, table or anything to put our stuff to. Window was possible to open just for 5 inches max, so the room was hot due to heatwaves (mid July). Also walls were very thin, noise would be heard sometimes. Overall we felt welcomed and were pleased by hospitality.

Great hostel, in a lovely part of London. Great location with excellent transport links. Staff all really friendly and helpful. Rooms themselves are spacious and tidy. Plent of washrooms. Never waiting for a shower. 10/10 would go again

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable room. Everything needed was provided. Ability to hire towels was great as we were travelling light. Great breakfast options in morning. Really good value for money and a great option for a short visit to London

Yes, it's a hostel, but as hostels go, this is a very nice one. Everything is clean and you can get private rooms, as long as you have 2 or 4 people in your party. Good for families. Bunk beds are comfy and clean. There are shared areas, a comunal kitchen and fridge and a nice backyard garden with picnic tables. Overall, a positive experience.

Nice, large rooms but very small showers. Due to the showers being so small, breathing was hard sometimes. The Wifi is only available in the common room and only after a long regestration process.

Perfect for short visit to london on a budget. Coffe and communal area is nice. Very very friendly international staff. Bunkbeds, locker and a sink. Mininalism conpensated by accesibility to central London for a good price.

For the price, it is a really great experience. All facilities are really well kept and really clean. Bed is comfy although it is a little small. (Again, for the price paid, it is really good still.) The receptionist was very welcoming and we had a great chat for 15 minutes as it was late at night and generally empty. Very warmth feeling all around in my opinion. Highly recommend this place for those looking for cheap place to stay for a night (particularly solo traveller). Central London is only 10-15 minutes away by tube and buses.

The rooms here are fine but I wish they had their own bathrooms in the rooms. Instead, you have to walk down the halls to the bathroom and showers. They have a good amount of space overall though. The washer and dryer do not work well even though it is free to use. A group of us are here and we have not had great service. One member of staff treated us like a nuisance for asking for our towels when we paid extra to have them. They were also annoyed when we asked for two room keys when we have 4 people in each room. There is a tube station nearby to go place but unless you want to walk 15+mins to the nearest museums it’s not in a great location.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with this Hostel because someone was yelling in my room during the night. I had to change rooms at 1 am in the morning to a quieter room. Another thing is that this hostel does not have any elevators, so if you have heavy luggage you will have to carry it up the stairs. Other than this, the hostel was clean and staff were friendly.

I stayed here two separate times and would do again! The street its on is very quiet and nice, but right around the corner is a buzzy shopping street with plenty of late night food and drink options- try the Mediterranean place! Also close to the tube and the V&A. The staff are excellent. I lost my phone while staying here and needed a little extra help as I'm not from England and don't know the area at all.... they could not have been more kind. Bathrooms and showers are plentiful and clean, I like that they provide a squeegee. Lockers, laundry, and luggage storage also available. No privacy curtains on the beds. The kitchen has the basics and the garden is nice for a little nature.

I've not stayed at a youth hostel since the late 90s, recently on a tighter budget due to not working thought I'd try it again. Just to say i liked the stop over, found the hostel very clean, breakfast was good value, and the location was great. Definitely would visit again.

Enjoyed this hostel. We stayed in a 4 person female room. All was great. The location is a 6 minute walk to the Underground station and from there you can get anywhere you need. There are colorful well kept apartment buildings with expensive cars parked out front. The sink in the room was difficult to use being so tiny with separate hot and cold water faucets. That’s the only issue I saw.

Overall you have to consider it’s a youth hostel so don't expect a 4 star hotel ;) But if you keep that in mind, the YHA really is a fantastic place to stay in London if you are on a budget and open to meet people from around the world. The rooms and facilities were decent and clean, the team was kind and helpful and the location was perfect for sightseeing! We stayed in a shared room and it we were very happy with our stay. The public accommodations were super useful (like the shared kitchen) and they offer luggage storage to explore the city before/after check-in/out.

We had a very enjoyable night at this hostel. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a good value breakfast next morning and the facilities for cooking and storing food were of a high standard. I use the YHA hostels regularly and this is one I would definitely recommend for visiting London because the location is excellent on top of the other good points about it.

Great YHA, so clean, friendly, spacious, all set up to make a stay really easy. The kitchen has everything you need and it's great there is a garden outside to sit and eat or chat in.

I have stayed at this youth hostel a number of times and I must say that it is definitely one of my favourites. Firstly, the location is excellent. Very close to the tube and therefore the whole of London is at your fingertips. Secondly it is a very large hostel and as such has plenty of variety with sleeping arrangements. I have had rooms on my own or shared dormitories. I have always had a good night's sleep. Finally, the staff here are incredibility friendly and helpful. A must stay!

Anything YHA is good in my book! This one is in a great London location with all the important tourist stuff close enough to hand to either underground it or walk it! Give it a go, you won't be disappointed!

Very nice place to stay if you want to visit London on a tight budget. The location is great! I travelled with 2 friends and we had a room just for ourselves, right next to a toilet and a shower that we shared with the other guests (but we were lucky to never had any problems trying to use it). The shared kitchen is awesome and equiped with all the tools you need to cook a meal and prepare a fast one for the next day. The only bad aspect is that the rooms had no wifi connection, so if you need it you have to use a common area.

Great hostel in amazing location, located just 4 minutes walk from Earls Court tube station (District, Picadilly) and 5 mins Court from West Brompton Overground Station. The room was very hot, which was a downside, but three rooms back out onto a garden, which is lovely. The staff were very friendly, and the hostel has been recently renovated. It was also very cheap, with other hotels being over £100 and this just being £40. Highly recommend!

I have not stayed in the hotel due to the new covid restrictions. But I'm giving the place 5-stars due to the extraordinary greeting and help I got from 3 different reception staff who were understanding of my situation and the new covid regulation in the country, they went above and beyond to bring me solutions for my alternative stay, required covid test and full-refund (although my booking was non-refundable). I will definitely stay at the hostel in any city I find it in future.

I used luggage storage service with them. Super helpful and friendly staff especially the guy named Phillip (don't know the right spelling). 🤍 Just in case you need to store your luggage just know that is safe to leave it with them. Thank you guys, you gave me extra 3 hours of quality time in London.

Clean, tidy and quiet. Everything you need for a short overnight stay. There are lockers in the shared dorms and padlocks are provided at an extra cost.

  • 4/5 Mike A. 1 year ago on Google
Dormitory was clean and spacious, showers were clean, though some may not like the needle sharp water, toilet was cramped, breakfast was cereal, fruit compote, yogurt, toast, juice, tea coffee. Beer was on sale in reception. Only downside for me was bike locker turned out to be a bike rack in the garden not under cover as i expected. Still a nice place and relaxing, V&A not far away.

I love the YHAs . Very comfortable for short visits and solo visits. Bathrooms are always clean and top quality. Usually very well located. I have stayed at this location twice now and find it to be a great budget stay in London.

Very good place. Being my first stay at a hostel it was a good experience. Only one star off because my first night several people were making a ton of noise but the hostel cant control that.

Nice hostel with clean facilities, spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Top notch breakfast and pizzas which my children loved. It is really close to the Earls Court underground. Definitely recommend

Clean well run facility , very friendly and helpful staff and a benchmark as to how all Hostals should be. Great location and offers amazing value for money for budget strapped travellers . Good breakfast offering and nice garden and communal spaces.

Fantastic Stay, thought the beds were slightly uncomfortable, but once got off to sleep was a lovely sleep, smoking area was easy accessible from my room, had double doors for room ventilation, would stay again with friends. Breakfast was Continental, and did the trick nicely before heading off for the rest of the day. - Stayed 7.11.23

Kindest staff, comfy rooms, clean toilets, amazing location, and fully stocked kitchen for self catering. I'd visit again every time I need a safe and comfortable place to stay in London at an affordable price.

Yha is a get what you pay sort of deal the beds are alright and the room i stayed in was small, however its cheap, the staff is friendly and the location is great

Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms, however the windows were always open and bugs would fly in often.

Loved it here. Staff very helpful and friendly. Showers good. Self catering kitchen and facilities excellent. Room had old carpet, limited opening on window for H and S I expect, but got v hot. Bad drains smell near our room. Great location ..lots v nearby (food, drinks, supermarket, chemist) and could walk to museums too.

This YHA was a great value! The location can't be beat. The rooms are small and sparse, but clean. The shared bathrooms were clean as well. The place is old, but charming and the staff is great. They also have free luggage storage. We will return for sure and have already told friends about this gem.

This is not a party hostel. Instead it's strangely peaceful, pleasant, clean, comfortable, spacious, with a big dining self catering kitchen, a large sitting room with sofas, and a large outdoor courtyard. My bed was comfortable. I'm enjoying the fact that the facilities are so good for three nights at less than £70 when it's only five minutes walk away from Earl's Court Underground station.

  • 3/5 Andy W on G. 1 year ago on Google
This place is convenient and good value. But it is tired. The courtyard outside is really neglected. Also, if you book a Dorm room be warned: it is likely other guests will be asleep from about 7pm onwards (early flights and all that) so the lights will be off and curtains shut. It makes it impossible to sort through your stuff if you arrive in the evening. The staff could try and manage this, but I guess the booking system isn't sophisticated enough to segregate between late arrivals and early risers! Pity. Makes you think twice about staying again. Oh, and the Self Catering kitchen is tiny! Woefully inadequate for the number of people needing to use it.

  • 3/5 Jay M. 1 year ago on Google
Not much atmosphere, wifi didn't work. Lots of school trips, and families young children so the common areas weren't really usable for youth. Otherwise clean and quiet and near a subway station

  • 3/5 Tabetha B. 6 months ago on Google • 2 reviews
The hostel was nice and the area was relatively safe. The rooms were nice and so were the showers. The only complaint I have was when I arrived early you could put your bags in a closet downstairs. And a sign that said they were not responsible if your belongings get stolen and there was no camera to watch the door. So it felt concerning if I had valuables and I couldn’t lock it into a locker until the room was ready. The area part was nice. It was nice and quiet and safe. The underground was less then a 10 minute walk from the hostel. The only concern about it was the station. I had to go to the airport extremely early and the lines at Earl’s court station closed the line at midnight on a Saturday night. I had a difficult to get to Heathrow (which is a long story) but long story short just make sure you don’t have an early flight when you go to this hostel.
