Room was clean and tidy. Free WiFi is always nice. Convenient location for public transportation. Strange smell in the room. Carpets were a mess. They charge £50 if they receive noise complaints because of you. Shower was poor. Over all not bad for the price but I'll be looking elsewhere next time.

We arrived to no reception and a locked door. We knocked for a good 15 minutes to be greeted by a Portugiese cleaning lady who couldn’t speak English, and had no listing of our reservation on her mobile phone. She proceeded to text the owner for another 15-20 minutes while we waited. Eventually, after another half an hour of negotiations, we were let in and given a code to get into the building and into our room which procured a stench from the bathroom that we could only describe as mould and latent sewage. Ironically the cleaning lady was gone when we turned to check and from here on we were left with what we had. We were tempted to use our earplugs as nasal stoppers for when we used the bathroom. We kept the bathroom door shut and the exhaust fan on all night. We were awoken this morning to fierce banging on the front door and on opening it, we met a family that had been booked in for 2 nights but never given entry details so had to sleep in their car all night. Understandably they were very livid after arriving in London from Malta the previous day , and having their first night sleeping in their car outside their fully paid accommodation. The contact details on the front of the building are not accurate so there’s no chance to communicate with anyone. Completely frustrating and disappointing experience. Ps. The inside of the room was presented quite well, except for the large stains on the carpet.

I must admit I was expecting worse after reading the previous reviews but for the price you cant complain. Our room was spacious and everything looked brand new and was clean (No TV though) beds were comfy and white sheets nearly spotless. The builders onsite were intimidating and were asking if we had any drugs to share with them, which isn't a very nice welcome. The view from our window was spoiled by a massively overgrown hedge but other than that it was a pleasant stay. The only other thing that makes you feel a bit unwelcome is you'll be slapped with a fine for pretty much anything and they take a cleaning charge out of your account for your room before you have even got there, so you spend the whole time there treading on eggshells to make sure you can leave without paying out.

Stay away from here! On July 27, 2019 we arrived at this hotel attracted by the low price for the night. Our excitement to rest for the night was soon gone when we realized that the four of us were bitten and tormented by bed bugs. We did not rest at all that night due to bed bugs everywhere. They were crawling on the bed, carpet and over the furniture. At 3:00 am, we decided we had enough of torture and began to pack pack our luggage and prepare to leave. We found more bed bugs crawling over our luggage and bags and the carpet on the room. We found our blood stains all over the bed when we got up. Our bodies were covered by their bites during our attempt to sleep. Approximately 2 weeks later the bites turned into very irritating/ itchy spots all over our bodies accompanying us on the rest of our Europe trip vacation. We think that this is a huge safety concern for the well-being of guests including us. We are still extremely unhappy as nothing was done by the hotel despite a submission of a complaint and phone call to the hotel. We will not be able to recommend this hotel to anyone after this disgusting experience! Please find pictures of all the blood stains on the bed as well as the bed bugs on our bed.

The room was for 3 people supposingly. Of course it didn't have enough space. There were no towels for none of us and no bedsheets for the 3rd person. The sofa that was supposed to become a bed was broken. On our first night there the plugs were not working so we had to spend a whole day in London without phones cause we couldn't charge our batteries. The area the nice, around 30' from the center. I wouldn't stay there again, sorry.

Although it caused no issue for me, there is no receptionist. Internet is a bit slow. The room is quite small and in poor cleanliness and the bed is horrible. I couldn’t fall asleep until around 4:30-5 because I could not get comfortable. If you’re looking for somewhere cheap, this is definitely the place to go because it checks all the boxes for feeling cheap. Code entry for the main entrance and the room. The room had spotted towels and the bathroom had a weird smell. The water tap was difficult to turn on and off and the door’s lock is rusty—avoided even locking it. Weird tapping noises all night in the wall. A few positive things: refrigerator, many windows, and storage dressers, including a wardrobe. The location is very convenient when traveling to and from the underground tube. It’s near a Tesco that’s open 24 hours. Would not recommend to those who have difficulty getting around or who have insomnia—this place is good for a really cheap stay, but I’d say keep the nights short. Not worth it to stay much longer than three nights.

A good place to stay if you have an event to go to. The rooms are very small and very clean. It had some maintenance issues like the window wouldnt lock and the bathroom door handle was broke. But the bed was very comfortable. Compared to other hotels very competitive prices.

Hotel is as described. A lovely Victorian building situated in the Acton area of London. Checking in was easy, an access code and my room number was emailed to me with the staff calling me before the check in time to ensure I had received this. For the cost of somewhere to stay in London, this was worth the cost. No staff visible but there was nothing we needed. Room was clean, prepared for our arrival and comfortable if not slightly small. For a budget hotel just outside of London, this place does the job. Would recommend as a place to crash for a night with many food establishments local.

The room is very comfortable, and after a little confusion the check in turned out to be quite simple. The only problems we have found is that the water pressure isn't great and the window in our room does not lock. Other than that, it is quite comfortable and convenient for the Acton Town Station.

Only saw one staff member during my two night stay. After 18:00 no staff were there to check customers in. So if customers arrived after this time they had to ring a number left by the door to be able to get in and and get to their room. Room was a fair size. But onsuite was very small. Fridge and kettle were in the room but coffee, tea, sugar were not provided. The bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were very thin. And they couldn't provide any more pillows. The carpet was also very stained. And there was mould around the window. Train station is with a 10minute walk and local buses running all day. Loads of local shops including a big Morrisons is a 5 minute walk away. At least two local pub/restaurants also only a minutes walk. On my next visit to London I will be spending a little more money and staying in a Premier Inn.

+ Convenient location. Cozy, warm room. - No reception/contact person. Poor customer service. Very uncomfortable bed. LOUD NEIGHBOURS. Details: I booked this hotel as it was near a conference I was attending. I had to access the hotel entrance and my room via a code they had sent me, but did not get notification that they had changed the codes while I was on the plane to London. This caused some confusion for me as I stood outside waiting for someone to respond to my requests for help. After 30 minutes, I had the information I needed and was able to enter, unpack, etc. The first night was uneventful. On the second night of my stay, the guests in the room adjacent to mine returned from the pub/club at one in the morning. They brought guests back with them. The group continued to party, drink, smoke, play loud music both in the room and in the hallway right outside my door. This continued until 5am. I sent messages to the number provided for the hotel management, but their hotlines close at 11:00pm. There was no one to help me "calm the storm" and when I asked for a refund since I didn't sleep at all that second night, I received a pathetic response that did not even acknowledge my request. The point of staying at this hotel was to get a good night's sleep before my conference, and that was denied me. The way my request was handled by management was pathetic. I will not be returning to this hotel. So disappointing.

People don't fall for it!!!! Had filled out a form in advance to receive 2 codes to enter the hotel. Did not get. The letter stated that you could contact someone who would provide the codes. Upon arrival there was no one and the telephone number was stated in the details was not recorded. There was another number on the wall but it didn't exist. After trying to call Expedia a few times and being on the phone with Expedia for 2 hours (they were also unable to reach the hotel), we eventually had a transfer to another hotel. Never again. Super bad 🤬

We went more than 24 hours without water and nothing was done. The street leading to the room is very busy, earplugs are mandatory. For the rest it remains a basic room with carpet on the floor. The code system is convenient for retrieving the room at any arrival time.
