We stayed at the Seymour Hotel on our last trip to tour London, it wasn't the best place to stay but it did the job and I now look back on it as a 'character-building-relationship-testing' experience. If this is the only line you read from this review, then take note of this: This is not a hotel. I do not recommend this establishment. If you have no other option, then stay here, but otherwise, DON'T DO IT. It could ruin your whole trip. To me this is definitely not a hotel at all, it is just a bed and breakfast that is really well situated. Being a B&B, I have to warn that the breakfast is really average, I'm talking cereal and jam toast. The bathroom situation is a bit of a situation. Our room had a little plastic cubicle in the middle of the room, and inside of that was our toilet/shower/basin situation. It was kind of like having a porta-loo in the middle of your room, except the a lot smaller. Definitely not suitable for anyone that is sharing with someone that they don't know well enough or feel comfortable around. For backpackers it's perfectly situated on the bus route and right near Paddington Station. Be warned; you might be put up in the building that is actually down the block from the location on Google Maps and you WILL have to carry you own luggage there and up the stairs on your own. So pack very, very lightly, hence the backpackers comment.

Probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Room stank, shower was blocked so it flooded the bathroom. Not to mention a member of staff walking into my room and unlocking the door at 8am randomly ?? Then knocking again at 11 to tell me checkout was 10.30 when it says 12 on the email. Shocking tbh

I would personally not recommend this hotel. The rooms are extremely small and same with the bathrooms. The wifi doesn’t work at all and I asked the front desk for help and they were not helpful at all. Now usually I try to be positive but, i just can’t say many good things about this place. They only gave us two towels for our whole stay. We had to beg to get another towel just to wash our faces and dry our hands because there were no washrags and hand towels provided. The breakfast was ok. The only options were toast, jam, and cereal. Not to mention the random slices of cheese and lunch meat on a platter. If you were staying in the white house hotel you would have to walk out of your room and into the streets of london to get to the lobby in the Seymour hotel. I would not stay here again

Taking into account both the category and the price it was a great value for money. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and tidy.

Well priced hotel. It was clean and the room was ensuite. Also includes a basic breakfast of toast or cereal, with cold meats and cheese. coffee and tea as well.

There was mouse 🐀 in the room. The duvets were dirty, and had stains on them. The washroom was so small that no one could use it. Housekeeping came in the room without knocking on the door while we were sleeping.

I couldn't get to the hotel in time to check out, they removed all my things from the room and left them at reception. They assured me that everything was packed, but when I arrived in another country I realized that my shoes were missing, the people who collected the bags didn't put my shoes in. I would have preferred if they had charged another night for going past check-out time, so at least I could pack my suitcase myself. I called the hotel and they told me they couldn't send it to me, that I had to go and get it there. So sad.

At first I thought I got good deal with cheap price. Until at night we woke up to a voice as someone was doing a search with shopping bags yes it was scary couldn’t sleep after a while I saw a rat moving from one side to another omg it was rat. We phoned them asked for another room but guy response was so calm over hearing about rat as if he already knew or other many cases has happened. He said sorry we’re fully booked. Upon talking to him he goes next time we would give you room on half the price. We got our room on ground floor but if someone has to go upstairs stairs were narrow. And yes towels weren’t washed properly it stinks.

Hotel looked nice fine until 3am while sleeping I was woken up by a rustling noise inside the bin than saw a small mouse crawling out of it. I couldn't believe it I rang up the reception asking if we could change rooms because there was a mouse roaming around he responded by saying everything is fully booked there is nothing he can do so we had to stay up all night till check out time. Never coming back and never recommended this place!! Seymour mouse Hotel

The rooms and the bathroom were extremely small, the floors were not clean, we slept very worried about the room hygienes. The heaters were not on, we froze at night. the employees were surly. breakfast was extremely poor. We were not satisfied at all.

Room stank of cigarettes. Less luxurious than a prison cell. Sleep in your car or on the pavement for a better experience.

Room a bit small and hot in summer, but great location, nice shower and facilities and very helpful receptionist. Clean and good value for central London. Would use again.

Super pathetic hotel I booked in seymour hotel but was given a room on 3rd floor in another hotel with my parents who are 75 year old twith very small staircase and stinky room. They have room availability but they are asking for another 20 quids . No kettle, No toilet rolls No clean sheets No quilts nothing. Its better you book a bed and breakfast

The hotel has its rooms in another building. The floor was dirty and in some places broken. The room was small, old, and dirty. The “continental” breakfast was just bread and tea or coffee. The personal was very rude, it seems they were angry all the time. The only reason I have given 1 star is because it has a nice position close to the metro station.

Was in room 202. Looked like it's just been revamped. Had a great stay kettle radiator. Spotless always drive down and always park there. 15 min walk to marble arch. Not in congestion zone. Would recommend nice reception guy. Will book again for July thanks

Beds were clean. Room was tiny, bathroom tiny. This was to be expected— all of London is tiny like this. No washcloths provided, only towels. Breakfast was good but very basic— cereal, bread, yogurt, coffee, slices of store bought ham, turkey and cheese. No wifi. Takes a long time to check in. No air conditioning. Bring ear plugs! Windows have to stay open all day/night and the hotel is next to a busy street.

Very disappointed with this hotel , I forgot my trousers in the wardrobe , after check out I remember that and I call them , to keep it in lost and found , but they said that my pants are gone , disappeared from the wardrobe … Don’t recommend that hotel to anyone

It’s just ok and very basic . Don’t expect anything extra like lactose free milk for breakfast or an extra fan for ur room .
