Beware of rip-off drinks!!!... I realise that it's in Leicester Square but my wife and I sought this pub out as they're renowned for being the cheapest for a pint. NOT THIS ONE!!! Our regular round in our local 'Spoons costs just over a fiver at the moment. Same round here cost over £12!!!.. Upon questioning the barman about the prices, he flippantly just told me that the prices have just gone up. When I showed him his own drink price menu, he said that they were the old prices, not the new ones. I begrudgingly paid so that I could get the receipt and threatened the manager with trading standards, as it's illegal to advertise one price and then charge a higher one. He wasn't bothered, hence this review. BUYER BEWARE...

Great place to have a Wetherspoons. You know what to expect when you enter and this one is no exception. Food and drink is well priced but it does get very busy.

Wide range of beer and food. A must visit in Hounslow. Much cheaper than other Bar, restaurants n Beer Gardens. You can actually taste the local beer before you buy. Let me tell you they are awesome 👍.

Great traditional Weatherspoons food and drink however the ales cheapest is at (£4.98 for a pint June 23). So sadly, no Ruddlers. Best on offer!

Nice venue. Your typical Spoons except it’s quiet and nice on a Monday afternoon at 4pm.

Good pub in Leicester squares :) Not a large variety of ales, but has all the popular ones. It does feel a lot more like a diner than a pub though.

Always busy whatever time of day . As it is in Leicester Square . Great atmosphere and good service by the staff who are always bust but has time for a quick chat and a laugh food was hot and beer cold uou have to look for a table as it's not the largest building but the tables are quickly available and taken so be vigilant.

Weatherspoon anywhere is my fav place to be..be it a pint of beer or English breakfast everything is amazing. You will find them almost everywhere in UK. Price wise it does not dent your pocket

Great location, food is good and prices are very reasonable, good beer and service is fast. You can order directly on the bar or using the restaurant web page and paying with PayPal (very efficient by the way). Is usually busy but you don't wait much to get a table.

Lovely lively wetherspoons, it was a Sunday lunch when we visited and it was very busy. Didn't wait long for a table, the drinks and food were served quickly, it was of good quality and the staff were friendly and efficient. The prices are slightly higher than other spoons, but then the rent on Leicester Square is higher than most other places! 😂

Your usual whetherspoon super packed and central. You can go in and find your own sit, then decide whether to order via app or going to the counter (QR code didn't work). The food arrived quickly, the drinks were good.

Very busy Wetherspoons right on Leicester Square. You pay a little more for the pints than you do outside the centre but they are still reasonable (£4.19 for a guest beer). Considering how busy it was, the toilets were remarkably clean. Food is the usual Spoons fare but at the moment they do not seem to be serving their good value steaks. Good place to go for a quick snack and a beer before/after going to the cinema/theatre.

Handily placed Wetherspoons in Leicester Square, when needing a sit down and drink after queuing for tickets at the TKTS booth opposite. It can get quite busy though and difficult to get a table, particularly when there's a special event in the city. As usual with Wetherspoons, the food and drink is good value, even though they are at London prices. Compared to many others it has a relatively small footprint, which is also reflected in the small toilets, so you may have to queue a bit at times.

Prices great (your typical Wetherspoons!). The service was very quick. Easy to use the app to order. The portion sizes were good, however food could've been a little hotter. Really enjoyed our breakfast here though.

A Wetherspoon in one of London's busiest spots - Leicester Square. There is a - relatively small - outside seating area on the pedestrianised square. I think there were about 9 tables - closely arranged due to the inevitable space restrictions of the property boundary. It seems a 'relatively' small pub - by Wetherspoon standards. Some are much bigger. Very pleasant and helpful staff - they usually are. I ordered 2 drinks and snacks. The gents toilet is one of the smallest I've encountered in a 'Spoons. My visit was during a particularly busy time in. London, so my expectations were modest.

Super location and nice touristy atmosphere. They had run out of all the cheaper beers but was happy with my 89p tonic water! Great quick drink after the theatre.

Great food but not everything was on the app or all the meals. Everything is very cheap! £6 for a bottle of prosecco, can't go wrong! Always busy though so maybe a wait for a table

This (photo) is a pathetic excuse of a £10 American cheese burger and they had the audacity to 'hold' it together with long sticks 😂. They forgot the cheese and I've no idea what happened to the lettuce. They did offer to take it back and add the cheese, for an extra fee. I'd sooner go to Mcdonalds for a burger than here again. My son got a kids burger: IT WAS EXACTLY THE SAME AS ADULTS minus the tiny amount of red onion. If you want a decent burger for your money, don't come here. The chips were OK and my step dad's fish and chips looked good. My step dad ordered a larger shandy - they gave him a larger!

Came here for a quick weekday lunch. It seems like a pretty standard pub with good selection of lunch foods. Lots of locals seemed to stop by for their lunch breaks. They have some deals with drinks and food (I forgot to grab a picture!). Their beverage selection is good also. Their prices are great also! We got their fish and chips which were pretty average, nothing to call home about.

The food, as always is great. Slightly more expensive, than others I've been to, but that is to be expected for the location. The drinks are also slightly more expensive but the prices are brilliant, compared to anywhere else.Friendly staff, as always. It does get extremely busy but we managed to find a table, we visited three times and managed to get served very quickly. Would definitely recommend.

Went in for quick drink and something to eat. Got drinks across the bar. Ordered food using their app. Service was quick and slight mistake in the food delivered was rectified immediately. Very happy overall.

Came here with my fiancée to celebrate our big day. We got two crisp ciders — Stowford for him, Strongbow for me. But we were very disappointed to see the 20 p minimum deposit at the slots! As Spoons is the pub of the people, it's problematic that in this economy (cozzy livs) we are obligated to pay an unreasonable amount for a simple joyous spin. Never coming back here again

Went here for lunch while Pride was in full flow. No spare tables inside so sat outside which was ok. Table was irritatingly wonky : made eating my overinflated priced lunch difficult. Beer Is £1 dearer than the Montagu Pike 200 yards up the road !!! Overall experience not great . Apart from Ramsgate, Victoria station & Folkestone spoons this was the most soul less Wetherspoons I have visited. Bouncer at the entrance was a lovely guy. Give him a pay rise.

Usual JD bar packed up with people. Service was good. It is always nice that you can order on your mobile phone and you don't need to pay service charges.

Central Leicester Square so the positioning is very good. Didn't eat here and it wasn't too busy. Coffee was nice. Again as with any spoons the place needs completely revamping, tired, paint coming off the walls etc. Toilets were clean but shabby. Other than that OK. Would eat there to try it out

Love a good wetherspoons! Food was great, child friendly menu and bargain prices - what more could you ask for! It was quite busy but still found room for the buggy and didn't have to wait forever for our food to arrive. Would definitely go back. Friendlier service would have got 5 stars.

A busy Wetherspoon pub in the heart of theatre land. Really good meals but one of the serving staff was impolite. I think maybe she was having an off day. But enjoyed the meal and atmosphere.

Had q great jacket potato with cheese and beans with salad. A great place to have that. I also had the mini cookie dough with ice cream. I would say a excellent meal but a large plate for a tiny dessert Hahaha I would go again 😋

4 stars for the fact that I had, probably, my cheapest pint in London that I can remember?! It would have been 3 due to the lady behind the bar not understanding my Dad's request for a 'white coffee'.... Not sure why it was so confusing to sort out a coffee and a bit of milk, but anyway? Good for a pre/post beer (or black coffee 😉) if you are going to the Coliseum!

Solid Wetherspoons, me and a friend visited for food and a whiskey, The Carling was very clean but the whiskey choices were a bit on the poor side. Nice seating outside which left us with a nice view of Leicester Sqaure.

Wetherspoon as always my favorite pub. Nice and newly added drinks always at reasonable prices. Love it.

Have used this pub/restaurant frequently when in London. Good variety of beers and a varied menu. My burger meal was nice but my wife's ham, egg and chips very disappointing with what appeared to be cheap, thinly sliced ham. Previously she had very nice, thickly sliced ham. Will use this place again in the future but will carefully select what we order.
