We weren’t there for any of the events they have but it was still an enjoyable experience. The food was quite good especially with a bit of added salt. The service however was a little lacking. We were not acknowledged at all and were seated for about 20 minutes right in front of them when the place was empty before they came to us. Overall I’d say it was a pretty decent experience.

For a pub that is surrounded by theater and other tourist attractions, plus the occasional old style pub, I cannot fault the Comedy Pub. Decent selection of tap beers, ales and spirits, we enjoyed Havana club and Punk from the tap. Staff were engaging and friendly n fun. Friends have enjoyed the sports on TV here Toilets relatively clean, considering the public access!

Came up to London to pay our respects to The Queen. London was very busy and we hadn't booked anywhere to eat, so we wandered around for a bit a poked our heads into the first pub looking place we came across. The pub was busy but we found a table in the corner and made ourselves at home. We got a round of drinks in which came in a fair bit cheaper than I thought it would for a central London pub. We had a fancy G&T, a large wine and a pint. We then went to town on the food. They had hallopn the menu....that was a super thing, the ladies on the table next to us had talked us into the meat platter and then for we ordered a scotch egg and some onion rings....unfortunately they had run out of scotch eggs so we ended up with a burger, so we had enough food for 4 between the 3 of us plus some onion rings. We like our food so this was no problem for us. Everything came out quickly and was lovely and hot. Everything I ate was delicious and the halloumi was amazing! The tables were a bit sticky but it was a busy day so we'll let them off. The staff were helpful and cheery. The loos nice and clean. Food came to around £60 and I'm sure the round of drinks was under £20. Yum!

Always visit here for a drink before and after any visit to the Prince of Wales Theatre. Really nice staff, usually fairly peaceful atmosphere. Even got a free pint for signing up to the app

Always good craic! Have regular comedy nights. Plays sports in the main bar. Good selection of beers & funky ciders. Friendly staff. (Used to be called The Comedy Pub, but I think there was too much confusion with The Comedy Store just up the street.)

I love the vibe in this pub! Shelby and Lauren are so welcoming and friendly. The drinking glasses are extremely clean and sparkly. I even asked if they polished them 🥰 and the chicken strips are to die for 😋

Pre-comedy show(upstairs) 20% off deal advertised does not actually exist(5-10-23). Food and beverages were good, staff were overall good also. Would return.

Called in for a quick hot whisky on 1st Friday of December and found a lively pub with a good mix of people. Got served and seated and enjoyed our drinks. Waitress was a bit short when we asked for extra ice and never brought it but apart from that a good pub to visit

Nice place. Pity I got charged £26 for a pint of cider. Wasn't rectified, was told that if I leave the premises, nothing could be done. But I was short of time.... However, some time later, the error was refunded to my card. The staff were very pleasant and apologetic. If you are going to a nearby theatre, come here. You won't go wrong. If you want a decent pub - come here, you can't go wrong. and probably the best chips you will ever have in your life.

Very nice pub, great food and cosy atmosphere. The best mulled wine in London.

Actually a cozy pub with good food - but unfortunately the staff seems to be either overwhelmed or not very motivated. Our starter came cold and we waited ages to be served. We also made an extra reservation to watch a soccer match - unfortunately the TV was switched over in the middle of the game and nobody felt responsible for reversing this. We will not be back. What a shame!

Came here for our Christmas party with work. Atmosphere was great, they had sport on but it wasn’t intrusive. Kyle behind the bar was fantastic and great fun. Fast service in a really busy central pub. Thanks for having us!

Kyle was excellent. Team are friendly and competent, beautiful site, excellent cocktail menu (try the watermelon spritz) we will definitely return! Beautiful clean toilets and function rooms with good hookups. 5/5 100% excellence.

Nice pub over 2 floors, great atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, great food, and plenty of large screen tv's to watch the World Cup on. Didn't see any obvious sign of a coach in the house, they might have gone to Qatar for the World Cup, or they were all upstairs out of the way watching Emmerdale. In summary, what's not to like, go there immediately... 👍🏻 Are you still here... stop reading this and go...

We've booked the room downstairs to watch the football match Napoli-Fiorentina. The staff has been amazing, the service impeccable, nice drinks and chips. The location is great as you are just in the centre of London, behind Leicester Square.

Great experience, had an amazing time at The Coach House, highly recommend for after work social drinks. James was very friendly and treated us extremely kindly, recommend us to try a few new drinks on the menu made the experience and atmosphere for us even more pleasant and welcoming.

The best fish and chips we had in London and the Beef Pie of the Day was delicious too! Must try these two dishes. We were served by Cherry, lovely and very attentive host. Thank you!

Came here for some pre drinks during the Christmas Period. Surprisingly it was not busy. Atmosphere was as you would expect it to be. Would recommend to stop by here for pre drinks before you go move on to the next spot.

Went for a comedy evening. Helpful, friendly staff. Good selection of drinks. Comedy was good, held in an upstairs room, intimate gig of 30 people or so. Definitely recommend. 4 stars as hubby was on crutches and the only way to the toilets and comedy room was upstairs-no lift, but it is an old building...

A great welcome and wonderful selection of drinks. The manager very chatty and full of local knowledge, lovely place to take time out and have a relaxing beer or two. Didn’t eat on this occasion but will certainly be back.

Returned for a second time, fantastic service, as last time. Most friendly place in London. If someone is looking for a nice place to sit, drink and converse, please call in. Lauren, from stubbington needs a raise, she actually took interest and made us lads feel special. A credit to the pub. Beer"s good too!

Fantastic! Got tickets last minute and what a great evening we had....Dane Baptist e, Finn Taylor and Chris McCausland all brilliant.....but the star was the MC Tom Webb who was hilarious and kept the gobby ones in check!

Really good mixed bag of acts as expected, food drink fine nice pub downstairs, a club in the basement. So why 3 stars, well I thought it might be just me but it wasn't as everyone in my group bar one had the same complaint. The chairs upstairs were tightly packed in, fair enough they want to maximise their space especially comingnout of hard times, I will let that slide. BUT the seats themselves became tortuously painful to sit on for more than ten or so minutes straight, I didn't think sitting could be so paniful.

Probably my favourite pub in central London: good selection of drinks, lots of screens for live sport, really friendly bar staff, fun clientele & the comedy nights are excellent.

Amazing place to watch sport, or just enjoy drink with friends. It doesn't look big, when you walk in, but there's another two floors. Sports bar on 1st floor, where you can really enjoy the atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Didn't need to wait for our food for very long and it was delicious. Great bar

Me and my family visit Leicester Square and popped in The Comedy pub for lunch. Lauren took such a great care of us with lovely recommendations and a beautiful vibe. Nice burgers and beer selection! Definitely recommend this place 🙏🏼

The comedy on Mondays and the drop in Acting class are two great reasons to come to this lovely venue. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the pub does food in the evening to support the many events that run here. Only a minutes walk from Picadilly station.

Quirky small pub just off the main road. Good selection of wines but lacks in snacks and kitchen closes early in the night.

No complaints here! Had a lovely pint of Beavertown Neck Oil and shared a Scotch Egg, Sausage Roll and a bowl of Triple cooked chunky chips! Absolutely lovely! A little smile from the barmaid would have been nice, perhaps she'd had a long day!

Really good night. Lots of interaction with the audience (don't sit near the front as you may get picked on) :-D Was a bit disappointed that Jasper Cromwell-Jones wasn't performing but that could have been due to the weather - he was the comedian I really wanted to see but on the whole, a great night as all the comedians were good. Will definitely return.

I recently approached Iain the General Manager about having a reunion for a cast from a show at the Prince of Wales Theatre, 40 years ago. Iain couldn't have been more helpful, showing me all around the pub and offering me a choice of two rooms, both free of charge . He also explained all the different buffet options. On the day, for various reasons our numbers were quite low and as it was a Monday afternoon and the pub wasn't too busy, Iain said that although the room was available, we were more than welcome to stay in the general bar. Which we did. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the food is very good and there is a terrific range of drinks including draught ales and cider....I particularly liked the Mango cider, quite sweet but absolutely delicious. It was extra special for me as I used to drink in this pub almost every night during the eighties and had my very first drink with my wife there. I highly recommend this pub right in the heart of the West End.

2nd time i have been to the improv night. Its never the same as before. Funniest thing ever, everyone their is constantly laughing at the show and therefore in a great mood. Fantastic friendly atmosphere. A good time had by all. Absolutely fantastic, can't recommend it highly enough and a bargain at 22 quid per ticket.
