Lively neighborhood pub. Friendly bar and several dining rooms upstairs. Reservations are highly recommended. This is a local place so mind your manners and respect the regulars. Sunday roasts are excellent and good value. The nut roast was fantastic as was the sticky toffee pudding. The staff is kind and helpful, but busy so don’t burden them with special requests. Beets is excellent so order a pint, relax and be patient. The library is cozy and warm, a great place for pleasant conversation with friends.

A stunning place, The Victoria in Paddington is superb. A Regency building, ornately decorated and offering an extensive range of beer ales and ciders both from the cask and the keg, along with a great selection of wines and spirits. The service is excellent and the staff are awesome. When you visit, be sure to have a look upstairs at both the "Theatre bar" and the "Library" both are exquisite. Wow!

Inspired by a Rick Steve's episode, we found ourselves at The Victoria, a place steeped in legend. Rumor has it Queen Victoria herself once stopped in for a pint, and they named the place in her honor. Talk about a royal endorsement! We arrived on a late Thursday evening and were pleasantly surprised by the lively atmosphere at 10PM. As newcomers to English culture, we were initially stumped by the lack of table service. But a quick trip to the bar sorted us out, and soon we were sipping on an ESB, a Tiny Rebel, and a hot chocolate. The interior was a delight, exactly the kind of ambiance we were hoping for. If only we'd noticed the sign explaining the ordering process sooner. Live and learn! Moses, my trusty plastic sidekick gives The Victoria his staff of approval. So, follow in the footsteps of royalty and enjoy a pint at The Victoria!

Lovely British pub! Really enjoyed the Sunday roast. Our family stacked up on nut roast, pork roast, beef roast and lamb roast. Definitely very English food and was a great experience. Service was excellent and we left very satisfied. We came on a hot summer day and it was a bit stuffy, but that’s how it is innit. Lovely place overall

This place is quite amazing and exceeded my expectations when I booked a table for 2 the other day. Nice and artsy decorated inside and despite being Halloween week the seasonal additions were not overboard. We got there early at 5.30pm and by 7pm the place was getting very full. Service was efficient and the staff friendly, while the food was excellent pub fare with a twist and well-proportioned. Got the soup of the day as starter, then the supreme chicken with the mushroom sauce and to top it off the apple and blackberry crumble with cononut ice-cream. Everything looked and tasted delicious, just check the photos! Definitely recommended and will be visiting again soon.

A delightful old fashioned pub that's also up-to-date and welcoming to strangers. Fascinating to look around it. I wasn't there long before I was chatting with locals and they were buying me drinks. I loved it! I will come here again.

Beautiful pub with a stunning, traditional interior. Lovely out front seating area too. Fullers ales are very well kept, with a few craft beers, etc. Definitely a neighbourhood pub, with a smattering of tourists. Welcoming to all. Had a good chat with both the barman and landlord; the latter kindly recommending other great pubs in the area. There are some poor pubs in the area but this is a gem!

Very close to Hyde Park in a quiet neighbourhood is this amazing pub located; You feel like at the bar of a castle, even has different rooms on 2 levels. really loved it. Really relaxed and good atmosphere, Staff was friendly. Did not try the food, so cannot rate. Would definitely recommend.

Great pub and great food!!! The burger is absolutely perfect and the fries are even better. What really pops in this place is the service!! Absolutely recommend this place.

One of rhe best looking pubs i have ever been in. the bar staff were all nice and friendly and the atmosphere was really nice - not full of boring city slickers like some other London pubs. There was a really nice feel to it where the locals or regulars would all smile at you and excitedly greet their friends. The only slight downside is nothing to do with the above or the people working there but a more general one for pubs these days - the food was overly fancy and imo overpriced. Proper simple pub food is being lost in pubs and as a result it seems it can affect the atmosphere. However, i still really enjoyed my time here for a drink!

Gotta say one of the best bar food I’ve ever had, the menu says it uses carefully sourced British ingredients, and her chefs are passionate about food. I believe it. I ordered Sirloin steak and I usually don’t have the sauce but it’s peppercorn sauce is actually out of this world. I can taste the refreshing mint as it churns in my mouth with the steak. I’m pleasantly surprised :)

Love this pub! Beautifully renovated Victorian pub with the authentic charm of a bygone era. We love to go here for the Sunday Roast and wash it down with a cold beer! Quintessentially, elevated British Pub experience! Outside seating also available. 2 minute walk to Hyde Park.

The fish and chips are 5 stars!!! The actual pub looks amazing and has the old London vibe. My issue is, I asked for a table for one and the Bartender asked for my credit card to open a tab which I had no problems but I watched other patrons enter and get tables without having to open a tab. So I asked once I completed my meal why did you ask for my credit card to open a tab and the answer was just in case I ran out??? Yeah never going back.

My favourite local pub! Over the past couple of years it gets more and more difficult to find a space here without reservation. But do me a favour, book and be amazed with absolutely incredible library rooms atmosphere for your food and drinks. Trout with young potatoes is such a delight here!

Charming pub in the heart of Paddington with a warm atmosphere. We booked a table in the Theatre Room upstairs for a Sunday roast (lamb shoulder and turkey breast), it completely hit the spot. Perfect to grab a pint on a Winter afternoon.

I’m sorry but, this is for sure the worst place I have ever eaten… we ordered a rosemary focaccia which was like toast bread super dry. They also gave us a small bowl with dirty oil inside. Than i decided to take fish and chips and it was really tought to finish the plate: non-existent batter and stale taste..

We arrived around 4pm and easily find some place to sit downstairs, we ordered the foccaccia bread, the scallops, chickens wings, 2 mains (which were quite expensive) and one dessert plus some drinks and paid around £50 pp. I highly recommend the chicken wings as a snack, they were excellent. The people working at the bar and service were really nice and helpful.

Excellent food and good beer. First time was a Sunday and the family had the carvery, food was so good we went back and it was just as good. Highly recommend this pub, top 2 locations we ate at during our stay in England.

Lovely pub, very close to Paddington. Very tasty food at very good prices considering the area (most dishes are around the £17 - £23 price bracket). We had the chicken supreme and ham hock and would definitely eat there again! Staff were friendly and very helpful (chap came over to fix our wobbly table!). As well as the ground floor where we ate, there's also a theatre themed room and a fancy wood panelled one upstairs.

The Victoria 📍 10A Strathearn Pl, Tyburnia, London W2 2NH 🚇 Lancaster Gate 🍺 £5.55 Amstel ❤️ The Victoria in Tyburnia , a beautiful pub in a historic location. . Tyburnia I hear you say, where the hell is that? I thought the same whilst researching this pub and it turns out this area of Paddington was a place where criminals were hung for their crimes at The Tyburn Tree. Hanging days were public holidays and well celebrated, the term “Hangover “ apparently came from the day after these celebrations. . The Victoria is easy to get to from either Lancaster gate or Marble Arch tube stations. I visited here with my sister and brother in law and we decided to take the scenic route and walked down Hyde Park Gardens Mews to have a nose around prior to arriving at the pub. On arrival you are met by a beautiful stucco fronted building set in upmarket surroundings. Then I stepped inside and instantly fell in love with the place. Imagine going back 200 years and walking in to a posh pub of that time, well thats what immediately sprung to mind when walking in here. This one of the most beautiful boozers I have been in , the place oozed victorian splendour. The bar is long and narrow with seating areas at either end. There are also two other bars upstairs which you navigate up a spiral staircase. The decor is lavish but tasteful and gives that feeling that you are somewhere grand. We ordered some drinks at the bar and we were served in no time at all. The price of a pint was £5.55 so no premium was paid which was great. The pub was busy and we were lucky to get a seat to take a load off and enjoy the convivial atmosphere. . The @thevictoriaw2 is a pub that I will definitely return to and has to be one of the best pubs I have visited on my travels across London. Fullers have lovingly maintained this impressive boozer and I can’t recommend it highly enough. So don’t hang around, get yourself down here. . 📊 Information correct on visiting 13/11/21

Fantastic food and excellent service. Takes pub food to a whole new level. The dining room was small but lovely. Definitely worth booking and going early before it gets crowded.

For a true London pub experience, The Victoria is your spot. We opted for the shepherd's pie and were only sorry that it was over so quick. DELICIOUS!! Nice selection of beers. Cozy and authentic pub straight out of the Victorian era.

We went for Sunday lunch. The staff were very friendly and showed us straight to our table. They made sure our drinks glasses were never empty for long. Our Sunday roast was very nice too. I had the roast beef and my wife had roast chicken. There was plenty of food for both of us and it tasted great.

Location is out of the way but food was delicious, prompt, and hot (watch your tongue on first bite). The fish and chips was haddock and the tartar was unique. It's nothing special per se but best pint I had on my trip. Wonderful quiet afternoon stop.

Lovely pub, always a relaxed atmosphere during the week and very lively on the weekends. The small bottles of Prosecco are great and just enough to enjoy without having to go overboard or feel there was just not enough. Great for an after park walk. Service from staff is great although can be a little slow at times.

This one had been on my list for a while & I was in the area. Was a bit early, but Fullers is always worth the trip, so I popped in. Glad I did. Old-school classic interior: etched glass and not-too-heavy paneling with a little 19th century kitsch and a nice beer selection - this is a stop I'll make again. Check out the renovated rooms upstairs as well, they're worth a look. The accolades are well deserved. Will certainly return to this one.

Great place! Felt welcome here right from the start. Very nice people. Great Amount of Beers an great food. Went here for lunch the first day in London and had to come back on my last day to try the evening menu. Would just come back to Paddington for this place.

Brilliant friendly pub. Excellent service and food. Good range of beers. I couldn’t get the WiFi to work, but that might have been me.

Cosy pub with a decent food offering. Really kind staff and an indoor open fire added to the warming vibes. Lots of seats outside too with heaters too. Fuller's so is reasonably priced. Would visit again, was a bit tightly packed earlier in the evening though.

We had a lovely Sunday roast dinner here! When we got there we had a booked table but we were fortunate so we could move to the best table and have a view of the sunset. The food was delicious and the service was great. For starter we tried their beat root dip with bread, never had that before but it was better than we thought. Afterwards we ordered one Sunday roast of beef and one of pork. They both were very nice and tasty, the horseradish was very strong but still good ^^ For dessert we had a mini brownie and a mini pudding that were amazing and it included a hot drink. Must say that the hot chocolate was really rich in flavour as well. Really recommend this place for both the nice location, food and service!

What a wonderful pub. A pint was reasonable at about £6 (coke £2.30). But what I liked most was the decor. The main bar was thriving at 10 pm on a Thursday night. Plus you can drink at the “theatre” upstairs or eat in the “library.” Highly recommend this little gem.
