Not sure this place is usually open on a Sunday - but had opened for the football. Great Sunday roast and dessert. Staff extremely helpful.

Very reasonably priced London pub, good drink selection and nice atmosphere, really liked it.

Quick service, the food itself isn't great tasting, couldn't eat the veg as it was so stale and cold you'd have thought it was cooked days ago. For a pub the chips should have been much better. I've had better tasting pies especially for the price. Unlikely to visit again but nice enough staff.

This is a pub called "The Monument" and not the "Monument to the Great Fire of London" landmark that's in the same area. The "Monument to the Great Fire of London" is a big tall thing with lots of stairs and great views at the top. "The Monument" pub is a pub with beer and food and far fewer stairs. The is a nice pub. So if you're visiting the "Monument" why not pop on into "The Monument" after.

Great service. Always with a smile. Readily replaced my sticky toffee pudding when it wasn't hot enough. Tasty food. Katsu chicken burger very tasty and a lovely sticky toffee pudding.

I did not have food, so there was no score. Good night out with my friends. Nice pub and actually quite busy for a Friday night. I'm not going to enter a Price PP as there was 6 of us, and we were all buying rounds.

If you want to eat and drink while watching football - it's perfect place. Happy hour made us very happy. Food was good for fair price and atmosphere of people watching the game together was priceless. We come back every time while in London.

Lovely pub with a decent selection of beers. It's generally quieter on the weekends being in the city. Worth a visit if visiting the Monument.

Great location and meeting spot before we headed to Bongo's Bingo at Steelyard. Ambiance was pleasant- busy but not overly noisy. Quick service, lovely wine and the shot paddle went down a treat 😉

Very pleasant visit. Good beer reasonably priced. Good service and nice background music that doesn't stop you having a conversation. Didn't have any food.

Nice pub in a tourist spot. The lady at the bar let me taste a bit of beer to make sure I liked it before ordering a pint. I also liked that there was a pitcher of water with glasses on the bar to help yourself.

Avoid Flat Iron Steak, worst stake I've ever had. Why bother asking how you want it cooked since it was butchered by the cook, in the bad sense of the word. Great place otherwise and service.

Ordered a steak toastie, it wasn’t even steak that came! Nasty dry pieces of beef and not very much. I work for greene king and if I served this I’d be very embarrassed. Staff behind the bar seemed very disinterested and lacked curtesy of just being nice.

Not very customer friendly place. Some of the staff were not very welcoming and they lacked basic customer service skills, pretty abrupt in their attitude.Food wasn't too good, my burger and chips arrived quite cold and didn’t have much taste to it. They was some loud shouting and swearing going on by the main door but no staff reacted to it, no visible security anywhere. Wine was good though and pretty good value for money.

Came here during the summer with my sister and my baby. Food was good and reasonably priced considering the area. Nice environment and I love the old style of it.

Blandest scampi and chips I've ever had. Every item on my plate tasted like it's come straight out of Asda's frozen food section. Mediocre even for pub food standards.

Tucked round the corner of the bustling monument station resides this nice and cosy Greene king. Perfect for your average office worker for the outside pint or two at lunch but also has a nice cosy inside atmosphere for family and friends alike. The main bar wasn’t overcrowded at any point and the service was quick. Kitchen was closed when we arrived at 7 bringing it to a 4 star for me. Highly recommend coming here for drinks!

Very busy during the happy hour 2 for 1. Can order via app and get a quick service, so don't have to que by the bar. A bit dated though..

Popped in here for some lunch after the sky garden and the place was empty. Ordered everything through the app and the drinks and food came very quickly. The food was delicious, unfortunately a couple of the ales tasted very hoppy - maybe end of the kegs? Staff were amazing though. The inside is really nice and not too cramped either!

Called in on a Sunday afternoon after visiting the Sky Garden which is a short walk away. I was looking for some classic English pub food (pie and mash or a roast) but they were offering a reduced menu as the 6 nations was on so was a little disappointed. Not a bad selection of beers though, had pale ale which was decent.

Lovely to be able to sit and look at the monument whilst you have a drink. Old looking interior, shame the state of the tables and chairs let it down. I'd still go again, it was quiet when I went.

I booked a table for drinks tomorrow evening as part of my birthday which was originally confirmed. Last night I received an email saying the booking was cancelled (this was about 10pm) without reason 🤷‍♂️. Guess I won’t be coming here

Pathetic excuse of nachos almost as if they had fried a stale tortilla barely any cheese to add insult to injury, the mains presentation was abysmal chips in a bag no accompanying plate, the burger was the most uninspiring thing i have eaten in a very long time with barely any room to eat it off the glorified prison tray it was served on. Drink selection was poor most if not all of the cocktails were unable to order off the app In short a quirky wetherspoons wannabe that's unable to deliver on value for money and drink/food selection

Lovely atmosphere, good location and price. this is the first pub on our greene king pub crawl and it’s a good start. the only down side was i wanted to order some food however everything is unavailable on the app, does the kitchen close at 7? seems strange. i guess i’ll get my korean bbq wings at the next one.

Lovely, spacious pub, big screens for sports events, good selection and quality food. Will visit again for sure when next in town.

Probably the most tasteless burger I've eaten in a while. Was the polar opposite of Five Guys. The description sounded amazing, the enjoyment was not. This option was echoed by most of our party. Given it a few stars for the drink and venue, but for food look elsewhere (at least for now).

cosy and nicely decorated pub for Christmas period. We had some mulled wine and a bite from the 'shared plates' menu, everything was tasty, staff friendly and always with a smile. Good music too

We booked in for Christmas lunch last week, the service was great and the staff super friendly&attentive. Nice food, xmas crackers on the table - a nice touch. Will definitely re-book next year. Recommend!

Just went in for lunch tge staff did not look interested. When we said we wanted to order off the lunch menu staff said " which lunch menu" then were told food not available due to inspection. No atmosphere at all, staff not bothered or apologetic. Walked out won't go again.
