Very slow service during an off-peak quiet period. Our food arrived before our drinks which is always a sign things aren’t right when you ordered them 10 minutes before placing a food order. I had to leave the table and ask where our drinks were three times only to be told there was a system/sector thing and we had to wait for our ticket to be processed. No sense of “I’ll just go and check for you”. Just belligerent staff telling us to wait our turn. All I saw was a half empty restaurant and bar staff who could have been pouring one pint of beer and a glass of wine doing nothing except chatting and loafing about behind the bar. To make us feel even more welcome we were asked to pay for the food and drinks we had ordered before we received them in case we did a runner as we were sitting outside. This must happen a lot, presumably because waiting to pay the bill becomes intolerable for some and people just give up and leave? The “Whole dressed crab” £26. (presented in a small scallop shell) arrived whilst we were still awaiting drinks. The crab must have been absolutely tiny. I asked if I could speak with the manager to discuss the restaurant’s shortcomings but was ignored. Our drinks finally arrived a few minutes after our food. If you like argumentative staff and slow, indifferent service with overpriced food… this place ticks all the boxes. We won’t be returning.

We held our wedding reception here and it was amazing. Daisy and Megan helped coordinate our special day and the outcome was perfect. Gennaro and his team looked after us on the day and they made sure they fulfilled our request to make it even more special. There were no hiccups. Oyster Shed team were really accommodating, they held our event after closing hours on a Sunday. I would highly recommend them.

Beautiful location, lovely decor and great food. I was impressed by the wines. Ended up organising a corporate gathering in a private room with a nice view and had the best evening. Would come back again for sure.

Came here for Xmas lunch in a group of 14 and went for the set menu - chicken liver parfait, roast turkey main and pear and fig tart for dessert. The food is great and good value and the ambience works really well - modern, light and airy with loads of room. Big shout out to the staff who were excellent throughout, efficient, helpful and very friendly. Thanks!

Visited this lovely pub a few times as it is near my work place, it is an amazing establishment especially when the weather is gorgeous. The staff are ever so lovely and make every effort to accommodate you, despite being jam packed. The food was absolutely gorgeous, delicious and very well presented. One can really appreciate the effort, dedication and hard work going into the service, cooking and presentation. I have not got enough words to praise this establishment. Management really know what they are doing and it is appreciated.

This is a great place to grab a drink along the river. The vibes were great for meeting friends or enjoying conversation with family. Incredible decorations along with plenty of drink options were great before going to find a meal. Unfortunately, the food was not to our taste as all of the sea food was cold and incredibly small portions. Three bites of scallops for £15 is not worth it. The service is great though and our waitress was lovely, but this is more of a drinks place than food. Will be back for sure but I highly suggest a bit of a re do of the menu.

Catch it on a good day and you can have seats in the sun facing the river which is just gorgeous. On a sunny day, with wide window panels you can benefit from the beautiful weather and the view of the shard & River Thames. But, it gets busy very quickly. They have outdoor seating. Not had food there in a while so cannot comment. Not the cheapest place but it has benefits that others can't offer

Chilled out place by the Thames with a fun vibe and lots of seating and lots of seating. We came here for drinks and light bites on a Saturday evening and the place was partially empty but as the evening grew on it became really crowded. The location is amazing too and they have some seating outside if you want to enjoy the views on a good day.

Bustling city bar on the waterfront with cracking views across London Bridge to The Shard and surrounding skyline. I come (unashamedly) for the gin and sausage rolls. Loses a star for the toilets which are either too far or a bit smelly. Easily remedied I'm sure. Cute pop up areas to the front and side in Summer. Worth a stop if you're strolling down the Thames so go check it out!

Came in with few mates, having a catch up evening. Had plenty of drinks that were flying of the bar straight after we ordered. Every single member of staff we met was very polite and professional. However we were particularly being looked after by Nick that was absolutely smashing it. Very nice lad and deserves all the praise! Also ordered a sea food platter which was absolutely amazing looking and tasting sharer. Thank you very much team Oyster Shed for amazing evening and see you soon!

Ordered one of the Seafood fish boxes. It was despatched on a Wednesday and arrived 2 days later. The small ice packs that were in the box had thawed out and there was an odour to the fish. All the juices had run into each other. One of the lobster claws was missing. I sent an email to Paul and he ignored it. I messaged him on FB messenger and he blocked me. Not a very professional way of handling a customer query.

A fantastic pub at a great riverside location. The ambience is modern and electric while the crowd is upscale. The drinks and food are reasonably priced for the location and the staff is very courteous.

Came here for afternoon work team drinks and bar food in a ground floor reserved area. Service was friendly and efficient. The bar area is light and airy but the riverside views are far more attractive late evening. The mezzanine first floor looks very attractive. Would probably return for an evening date night to sample the restaurant seafood menu.

The service was very good at the Oyster Shed, everyone was friendly but at the time of my visit the venue started to get quite busy downstairs which slowed down the service upstairs. The food took quite a long time to arrive and the most expensive seafood platter was a bit disappointing as it is mainly filled with mussels and clams. However it was still very enjoyable! Despite this, I had a lovely time here, the views are great especially during summer and I will definitely come back here again.

Initially, the service was super slow, although it didn't appear that the restaurant was at full capacity. With time things got moving and we eventually started our bottomless brunch.... at least with the drinks flowing (although not without prompts to staff). The food arrived probably about an hour since we first ordered. Out of 6 meals ordered, 5 arrived. The waitress acknowledged that there is one still coming. It didn't.... until we asked for it a couple of times. Overall food was of a very good quality, and as a gesture of goodwill from the manager we got some extra Prosecco. It is very unfortunate, that nowadays so many places are short staffed or staff isn't properly trained 😞

I visited here this week for a work Christmas meal, and we had a three course set menu. The vegan starter was a cauliflower soup - not massively exciting, but good flavour. The (vegan) main was some sort of butternut squash & bean dish - bland and really just a very lazy option. The (vegan) dessert was a syllabub, which was fine, but again, very uninteresting. The vegan options are clearly developed without thought, and they really do need to do better. Further, charging the same price for the basic vegan options (beans, butternut squash & cauliflower), as the meat options, seems quite cheeky. To give due credit, however, the non-vegan dishes generally looked good, and my colleagues enjoyed them

It's challenging to form an opinion after a visit, and I didn't plan on writing, but when I saw the bill and noticed they charged a service fee after the lunch, and we ended up paying for an extra broccoli that no one requested… We arrived for a business lunch on Tuesday. Despite a few extra ask/changes, burger without fries (which we didn't receive) and fish & chips with salad instead of potatoes (which we also didn't get – presumably, the broccoli was a substitute for the salad, although we didn't ask for it) – the biggest problem arose due to the time. I don't know if there was no fish in the kitchen because it seemed the freshest, but unfortunately, the beer butter was already tired... they probably sensed serious issues with our table, as we received an extra round of drinks without even asking. Unfortunately, for a business lunch, we didn't plan for an hour and a half, and even if they had to make the mashed potatoes listed on the menu fresh, it shouldn't take 45-50 minutes to prepare three burgers and two fish & chips dishes... there were three tables when we arrived, and they served three other tables while we just waited… If there's no fish or no burger bun, we would have chosen something else, as can happen anywhere… It's beautiful to photograph new desserts, but it's rather frustrating when a guest in the restaurant doesn't receive their ordered lunch! I won't mention the prices because we felt the quality matched the prices, but unfortunately, the tired beer butter, the tired iceberg salad, and the quarter-hour-old fries didn't really reflect the many praises! We ate, thank you for the complimentary drinks, the two new desserts are lovely, best of luck in the future!

Came for drinks on a Saturday night before Christmas. We booked a table but thankfully not too busy. The pub had a nice atmosphere and service at the bar was prompt. This place is nicely located right on the north bank of the river by London Bridge, so has nice views.

Booked out the Captain's Table for a surprise party, the staff were amazing prior to the event when making the booking and on the day helping with set-up and make sure all the guests had what they needed. The food was superb - burgers were definitely a fav. Great night had by all!

The venue is in a great location on the river bank offering great views! It’s also in a seemingly quiet area although the pub was busy when we went. Inside it was loud but the place offers a seating area - restaurant option upstairs. The service is very attentive and the staff are excellent. The only reason for 4 stars was due to the fact we arrived around 7pm and a lot of the main options were not available (like burgers) which looked nice! We will certainly go again and I may edit this review upon our next visit.

We were a party of 6 that got there shortly after they opened. The restaurant filled up at lunch hour and multiple tables of large and small parties came in, were served, and checked out and we were still waiting on our food an hour and a half later. We did not have complicated orders: water, oysters, 3 orders or fish and chips, sea bass, and two burgers. We had to ask the status of our food 3 times before the manager finally came over and apologized and gave us two bottles of water for free. Our food was decent when it arrived except one order of the fish and chips was clearly burned. They took 20% off our bill for the inconvenience. I would never recommend this place.

I just organised a late lunch / dinner for our team Christmas event. It was easy to book and pre order. We had last minute changes to the booking and the venue was very accommodating. They have a strict 2 hour booking schedule so you need to make sure you arrive on time. If you want a place at the bar after the meal you need to pay another deposit. We arrive 10 mins late but still were able to have our meal. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating. They were very attentive and asked if we needed anything. We actually overrun and were lucky they did not have a booking until an hour later. So we could finish our drinks. As we had 2 people who could not attend I asked for their food to be packed so I could give it to the homeless. They were very kind and made sure the meal was warm when we left and gave us disposable cutlery. I would definitely recommend this place. The food was good and the atmosphere was great.

Such a nice spot. Didn't book so was able to walk up and dine in, had a few lovely pints some light bites and a sharer plate - which was all delicious. Staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable; when we ordered an ale they let us know the quality if we wanted to switch to a fresher tap. Good price as you'd expect from the area with some gorgeous views

I photographed a wedding here last year and absolutely loved it as a venue! It has huge windows all along the front which lets in loads of gorgeous natural light - a photographers dream! It's also right along the River Thames and has great views of the city! Perfect for photos. The staff at this venue were really friendly too. I'd highly recommend it if you are looking for a city wedding venue with gorgeous views!

A very bizarre place. When we arrived we were confronted by 2 security guards in high vis who seemed to be checking our pupils to see if they were dilated?! They almost didn't let my girlfriend in because she was lagging behind and they didn't believe she was with us. The food was not very good – tasteless prawns and crayfish, pre-cooked cold mussels, I could go on. The oysters and the vegetables were very nice. The security kept coming inside throughout our meal and seemed to be scanning the place like it was a nightclub. Not a very pleasant experience and we won't be returning any time soon.

Special mention goes to one of our waiters the amazing Nick, who was a really charming young man who knew just how to engage with our group! Would definitely recommend the espresso martinis, some of the best I’ve had in a while!

Riverside side bar located along the Thames Path. Excellent views of the river and very popular with City Workers. A fairly large establishment with several dining rooms and rooms for private hire and functions. A very wide selection of drinks including Wines and Champagne. A great location to host company events, meet friends or celebrate special events.

Our waitress was very nice but they were very quick to rush us out despite it not being very busy. Food was nice but not amazing, was also quite disappointed because they had run out of quite a lot of things on the menu and it was early dinner time on a Saturday. Lovely view from most of the areas.

Nice place for drinks and food along the river. 5 stars for two reasons - despite being a rowdy Thursday night with crowds of after work drinkers, I was able to book a table a few hours before so I could sit with my friend (other places don't take bookings), and secondly that no smoking is allowed at the outside tables, which the bouncers really keep on top of. Great job!

Having enjoyed a work Christmas party here in 2019, my colleagues and I were very much looking forward to returning for the leaving drinks of one of our party. The location is ideal and it was a lovely sunny London afternoon. Sadly, our experience on Friday night was miles away from our memories and our expectations. An hour in, we were told that we could make no more orders with the waiter and had to go to the bar (whilst the tables around us continued to place orders with the same waiters. There was a minimum spend for our party, which is entirely understandable. We set up a tab and were advised that we could have up to ten tabs linked to it, making it much simpler for a party of around 30, with individuals arriving and leaving at different times, to settle up. Unfortunately staff decided very early on that there would only be one merged tab for the remainder of the night. It took four staff members to explain this to us and why, all of whom were clearly uninterested in providing any explanation, and even went as far as saying on several occasions that the member of the party that booked should really have read all the terms and conditions again. Ultimately it was explained to us that the reason behind this was that it made things easier for them. At the end of the night, as we were being pressured to leave by unfriendly security staff while the rest of us settled a single £731 bill (that they had the cheek to try and add service charge to), staff were completely flippant and unconcerned as we tried to explain our frustration that they had changed the process part way through the night and were unwilling to split the bill, leaving a single member of our party with a full £731 bill to settle between us. Really poor customer service and lack of any flexibility. This is over 30 customers who will certainly not be returning!

Popped in today on a whim, waiting for a train. Staff so welcoming, friendly and kind. Helped with a kids menu. I ordered a vg burger, husband a beef roast. Kids had fish and chips but there were 2 other dishes we could have chosen. All the food was amazing and arrived in really good time. Really made the end of our brief trip in to London.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is purely because I haven't tried the food, but this bar has fast become one of my go-to city bars. It's got lovely decor, two floors, clean and service is great. It helps it's just around the corner from work, so it's definitely got that city vibe. It's also right on the river, so you can imagine on a sunny afternoon this place would be buzzing and personally i can't wait. If you are around town, then definitely pay this place a visit as it acts as a great starting place or enjoy the evening in the outdoor beer garden.

I liked it. The drinks was very good and no hurry to push us out the door. No hurry to turn and burn the table setting. It was very pleasant. I would definitely go back. The wait staff was helpful and friendly.

Lovely oysters, bread and olives, sat overlooking the Thames. Had to order at bar initially and took a while to get menu. When it got busier later in the afternoon service improved and orders taken at table.

Great spot right by the river with a nice ambiance and good food. However, service was a bit slow and the bathrooms must be cleaned.

Had team lunch with a nice view of River Thames. The starter Beef Tartare and the dessert poached pear are my favorites.

Loved it for a fun lunch spot. Sat right on the Thames with an amazing view, perfect for a crisp sunny day. The cod melted in your mouth, and the muscles were incredibly fresh and although creamy, didn’t leave you feeling heavy at all. Definitely recommend Check out @hi.there.im.katie on TikTok for video reviews

Hired a room here on Saturday for a softball anniversary party and it was a great experience. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, food was very good and the technology on offer (TV, Sound System) actually worked for a change. Beatrice who looked after us was brilliant and professional. She made every effort to make the evening as enjoyable as possible for us working between our room and the bar upstairs so a big thank you to her. Overall a great experience and would recommend.

When we arrived I was waiting quiet long inside . I was feeling like no one really interested in customers, so I came to the bar and said that I had reservations at the specific time. The guy showed us our table we sat and been waiting till someone gonna come to take our order but no one came . After sometime my husband got up and ask at the bar can anyone take our order an serve us . After everything was ok. We had great food but service really poor!!!😞

I had an outstanding dining experience at this venue! The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring our evening was enjoyable. A special thank you for Beatrice who went far and beyond to ensure I was taken care off. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. Every bite was a delight, making it a memorable meal. I highly recommend this place for excellent service and delicious steaks!
