Good service and nice and clean. Apart from all the Canadian flags, I don't see what's Canadian about this pub. We left though as it was just too loud. There were people roaring and not once asked to keep it down.

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Being from Canada we had to try the Maple Leaf and it was fun experience. It was busy with people in to watch the football game but we found a table easily. I don't know who was playing but there was lots of cheering and it was a great atmosphere. The food portions were large and enjoyable. Would definitely go back if I'm in London again.

A great pub in the heart of Covent Garden. As the name suggests is is a Canadian Pub and the focus is around sports and memorabilia, plenty of screens to watch games on but also a great place to just go for a drink. The food is great value for the area and is hearty Canadian pub grub, with plenty of options. Well located and in walking distance of a lot of theatres. I would definitely recommend a visit…. And try the Poutine!

If you want to have a cheat meal but not sure what to eat then I would recommend coming here to Maple Leaf for just drinking good enough beer and good enough food for a ridiculously great price. Trust me if you want to enjoy the taste of food then I recommend somewhere else. But if you want to drink a lot of beer and just chat and then have something tasty and filling to go along with it, then yes do try this pub. We came here because my wife and I never had Canadian beer and Poutine. We always wanted to try and found the only place in London that got all this. So with that expectation we were really happy. I am sure no pure blood Canadian would ever consider the poutine here as that great but for first timers this place did good. Additionally the 3 starters for 13 pounds was a great deal. Their southern fried fish tacos were amazing. The karaage and baos were good too.

Fun Canadian Bar in Covent Garden. Walked by and decided to go in. Very friendly staff and helpful. They have a wide range on tap including some nice Canadian beers. Very very busy and good atmosphere. Has a bit of a smell though inside, just food smell. Very clean bathrooms. Definitely recommend especially for American / Canadian sports.

Stopped in for a snack and a beer. We had the nachos and they were very good 👍, even for a Canadien bar. LOL (we are Boston Bruins fans 😎)

Always a favourite of mine as it's in a great part of London and it has wonderful cocktails and beer from back home! They show all the big sports games too and their new outdoor area is great! Highly recommend trying a Caesar cocktail (similar to Bloody Mary for those unfamiliar with it) or a Moosehead lager.

Maple Leaf Bar in London provided an unforgettable experience for Jasper's birthday celebration. As soon as we stepped inside, we were immersed in a cozy and inviting atmosphere that truly captured the essence of Canada. The rustic decor and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The maple-infused cocktails and authentic Canadian cuisine were a delightful nod to Jasper's roots, and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The bar's warm and welcoming ambiance, combined with the fantastic entertainment and delicious offerings, made Jasper's birthday celebration truly memorable. We left with hearts full of Canadian pride and wonderful memories.

So disappointing to come here to try the famous Canadian Poutine to find out they didn't have that day. It's like going to an Italian restaurant but they don't have spaghetti :(

Love the atmosphere. It’s not often you get that North American vibe in a restaurant in London. Good comfort food and nicely spaced pub. The food is solid, but I wouldn’t call it breathtaking. They also have TVs displaying fun sports and it genuinely feels like a causal pub you can actually relax and chat in.

Situated in Covent Garden this is like stepping into another country. The decoration and vibe of the place adds to an overall authentic Canadian feeling. Usually showing a range of different sports for entertainment; although can get loud at times. I’ve always wanted to try a classic poutine; which was mediocre given the price point. However the range of beers on tap; particularly the “maple leaf lager” is a favourite of mine!

I come here every time I'm in London. My last visit was on Canadian Thanksgiving. They had a special menu and it was DELICIOUS! The staff is always amazing!

Can't say enough good things about Maple Leaf! The staff are super friendly and efficient, and the food was fast and excellent. Menu and flavours are authentically Canadian. They had lots of screens with different sports, and tons of Canadian sports memorabilia too. The location is also great, we spent some time walking around the area and shopping after our meal. I highly recommend the Millionaire Burger, it was sooo good and really hit the spot! Will be back again next time I'm in London 😍🍁

We were pleasantly surprised to find this Canadian themed bar/restaurant. The food and drinks are pretty good. It gets really busy so best to get there early. My only issued was it was a bit smelly around the bar and tables, might need a deep clean.

Cool place. Very warm inside on a cold evening, lots of screens playing American and Canadian sport. Had an ok vodka lime and soda, reasonably priced for the area. Good chilled place to hang out with friends, large Poutine selection on the menu(I didn't eat anything)

I went to the Maple Leaf to enjoy two games of football on a super Sunday. This pub is great for watching sport with a good atmosphere and a diverse crowd. I saw families, groups and individuals all enjoying themselves in this pub. There are so many screens and is a great place to watch sport in this central location. To top it off, there is a great selection of drinks and there’s poutine!!

A Canadian bar in the heart of London. Serving food such as poutine. Ice hockey memorabilia around the bar. My friend enjoyed her pie but my food turned up cold. I still enjoyed visiting as it’s a nice bar.

Lovely little slice of Canada in London! Friendly staff, delicious, amazing food, little wait time, well decorated and plenty to choose from both in good and drink. Definitely recommend a visit!

Went here with a mate from Canada. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Loved the atmosphere and the decor was spot on for a hockey fan. Drinks on offer were great and the poutine tasted delicious. Will definitively be returning and recommend to anyone wanting to try something bit different.

We had a good meal here. One of the staff was actually Canadian. Many options for the non meat eaters and the non-drinker. There are a few Canadian options on the menu.

Hated this restaurant. The costumer service is the worst and the their special cocktail CESAR is the worst cocktail in the world. The bartender told me that is like Bloody Mary however was salty. He did not gave me the money back…

Speaking as a Canadian, it's hard to find a good Canadian pub. This pub was one of the better Canadian restaurants I've been to. The ceaser was good, same with the poutine. Would have liked to see a classic ceaser salad on the menu and hockey or curling on the tv instead of football, but overall, it was good. I'd go back again. 😀

Great place with great atmosphere. We hapenned to be there at the evening of the game of England vs Senegal of 2022 world cup and it was really fun. The place was crowded but there were plenty of TV's so you could watch the game from any place in the bar.

Went here with my Canadian friend who recommended the Poutine and I had it with pulled beef. It was delicious, extremely quick service and price was very reasonable too. Highly recommended.

🚇 Covent Garden 🍺 £6.35 Maple Leaf Lager ❤️ A Canadian themed pub in Covent Garden. . The Maple Leaf is located in one of the side streets just off the main Piazza in Covent Garden. The nearest Tube stations are Covent Garden and Charing Cross both of which are a few minutes walk away. . The Maple Leaf opened its doors in 1984 and is the only Canadian themed pub in London. There has been a pub on this site since 1739 with the current building being reconstructed in 1873. . Architecturally The Maple leaf is Victorian, the ground floor is painted bright red in homage to the Canadian flag. The sign across the top of the entrance is in distressed wood and there are two Canadian flags at either end of the building. . This pub is bright and airy and does have a subtle North American bar feel to it. There are poser tables throughout and comfy booths which have TV’s. There is a good sized bar (made from wood of course) and on the ceiling are Canadian provincial flags. This pub shows all live sports including premier league games. . I visited on a fine spring day and arrived just before 3pm. Some punters were sitting on the few tables and chairs available at the front of the pub. Inside was fairly busy, the atmosphere was upbeat and there was a nice vibe about the place. . The beer line up is from a variety of Canadian breweries such as Moosehead, Sleemans and Molson. I ordered a Maple leaf lager which I hadn’t seen before and it turns out it is brewed by The Portobello brewery in West London, just my luck. My pint was decent enough but charging £6.35 for an in house lager didn’t feel right for me. The food menu has traditional Canadian favourites on it like Poutine along with burgers, wings and tacos. I ordered some duck tacos and chilli tater tots both of which were delicious and really hit the spot. . @themapleleafcoventgarden offers its punters an insight in to Canadian beer and food here in London, I tried both and both hit the spot. There is a nice feel to the place and the service was good. The Maple Leaf is definitely worth a visit or as they say in Canada, How aboot that pub Eh! . 📊 Information correct on visiting 17/03/22

Foods tasty but a bit sloppy, but its a pub to be fair. Nice spacious bar with lots of tvs for sports. Visited during the Wimbledon final and while the Austrian GP was on. Got to watch both. The outdoor seating could do with some parasols especially with the summers we have now.

It's Back! The Maple Leaf is back to heyday of old! What a turnaround from when I was here a year ago, well done to Kam and the team. The Molson is cold and the poutines are real, squeaky cheese and all! Food was hot and as advertised, staff friendly....just pull in and enjoy, you won't regret it!

Always wanted to try poutine fries. So in a weekend stop in London decided to try them here!! Was not disappointed, had the burnt ends topped and oh my god. So many flavours. Staff welcoming and friendly, quiet when I went but sure it gets very lively!! My daughter was made to feel welcome as well(8 years old). All in all lovely places

Vibrant and welcoming place. Lots of on tap drinks from around the world. They are of course London priced (they are steps from the theatre district) but you go here expecting that, I think. Disappointingly, I went here to maybe snap up some food too but the kitchen was closed 😕 Otherwise, nice pint of its namesake, loads of sport on TV and a nice atmosphere.

What an amazing bar!! Great food, beer, but over all good old Canadian friendly service! Massive thanks to James and the team for a great night. Really enjoyed the drinks and hospitality. Always a favourite and can’t wait to come back 🍻

Great Canadian bar, nice sporty atmosphere (there are games on the screens all the time), the food is delicious (we had burgers and bacon waffles, beers are great as well, definitely recommended!

Unfortunately the grill was down, but nice, casual place. Bartenders didn’t make you wait and made good recommendations. Located in a great part of London. However, it’s very difficult to find a strong beer in London, which is quite odd.

Nice pub with good Canadian food and beer options. Tried their classic poutine and felt it could do with a little more seasoning. They also have many TV screens however they weren't playing live football when I went.

We've been having our Superbowl here for the last 7 years (minus 1 Covid year) and the organisation is always great. Coming in on a normal day though is always decent, good food and good beers and probably going to be some sport you didn't expect is on that's worth watching :)

This is a great pub and a hidden gem near Covent Garden. We needed somewhere for drinks after work. Most of the usual places were over crowded, but this place is really large and well spread out. They also have a great range of beers and wines. We will be using this place in future.

My first visit. Went in to watch the England v Ireland game. Absolutely packed out, but a great atmosphere, comfortable setting, a wide variety of beers, spirits on offer. Food was available too. Would recommend but be prepared to stand although there is seating areas.
