This was a very charming and fun pub, one of the closest Pubs to the Tower of London. They had a great selection of beer on tap including Fuller's coronation ale, which I loved. We got fish and chips, steak and Ale pie, a sausage roll, and everything was delicious. Clean bathrooms, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Lots of informational pictures and signs about the history of executions in London.

My partner and I arrived into London on a late afternoon flight from Australia. After checking into our hotel we needed to find a great pub for a meal. We decided to go for a walk and see what we could find that looked interesting. We couldn’t resist the Hung Drawn and Quartered when we walked by. From the moment we walked through the door, I was struck by the beautiful interior of the establishment, which was filled with warm, cozy lighting and classic decor that truly captured the essence of a traditional British pub. Of course, the real star of the show was the food, and I can say without hesitation that the steak pie I had was absolutely delicious. The pastry was flaky and buttery, while the filling was bursting with tender chunks of meat that had clearly been cooked with care and attention to detail. The accompanying sides were also perfectly executed, and it was clear that the chef had a real passion. But what really made the experience special was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Whether it was providing recommendations, checking in to make sure everything was to my liking, or just making pleasant conversation, the service was truly top-notch and added an extra layer of warmth and hospitality to an already great meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this charming British pub to anyone looking for a cozy, inviting atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding service. Whether you're in the mood for a classic steak pie or just a pint of ale, you're sure to find something to love at this delightful establishment.

Popped into The Hung Drawn & Quartered Pub EC2 cos we disembark at Tower Of London Walked into this pub I liked the menu some veggie options but it was trio of mushrooms 🍄 with spinach shortcut pastry sauce gravy and mash potato. Glad I had the mini vegetarian pie otherwise I certainly wouldn’t be able to have the afters, the banana 🍌 tart tatin with stick toffee sauce it was sublime very rich but well worth it to have this sweet btw us!!!

I've been here multiple times, the food is always quite good and they have a good choice of drinks. The atmosphere is cozy pub which is fun in my opinion. Service is slow, expect to wait.

Wife and I enjoyed just using the small plate selections of pies as a sampler, and finished off with sticky toffee pudding. Everything was good and the server was excellent.

Nestled in the heart of London, "The Hung, Drawn, & Quartered" offers a remarkably cozy living room setting. The intriguing name pays homage to the square's historical significance, recalling the tragic executions that once took place nearby. Stepping inside, I was greeted by a warm atmosphere adorned with Christmas decorations and framed portraits that added a touch of beauty before I even took a seat. The meticulously prepared and authentically British cuisine further enhanced the overall experience, making it a delightful journey through both history and culinary excellence.

We were vacationing in London and traveling around the city. We saw this place and thought it sounded pretty cool. We got some of there samplers of pies and ciders. Everything was very good. Our waiter was very nice, but the service was mighty slow the afternoon we were there. I do understand there is a difference between US and Europe's "waiting on tables", but we sat around for almost 25 mins before we saw him and got a refill on water and our check. Even with the long wait, they place is very neat and worth the time.

The Hung Drawn & Quartered is a great little find in the heart of London. Beautiful interior, the food was absolutely spot on delicious and bar staff and food staff all really friendly and clearly happy to be at work. It makes for a great spot to drop in for a bite. We shared the ‘pie for two’ which was delicious. I think the other individual pie choices have pastry but this was what Australians would call a Shepard’s Pie (slow cooked beef in gravy covered in mash). Give this place a try.

Very nive English pub serving typical beer and pies. Service was excellent where staffs were friendly and the atmosphere was very original. For those only there for an experience should go for the mini pies so you will still have space for more.

I loved this place! At the beginning I was about to pick the burger option since it was a bit difficult for me to understand the menu. However, our waitress was lovely and even speak spanish! So she explained everything to us and we went for the pies of the house! It was delicious! I loved the place, the food and the service. I hope I can come back soon.

Went there for a late lunch. Still crowded, but they found us a table for two. Nice beer selection, excellent food - we had the parsnip soup, the whitetail, and the fish & chips. Handily located for the Tower of London (hence the name), and Tower Pier. Overseas visitors with mobility issues should note that the lavatories in London pubs are rarely easily accessible!

While visiting from the States happened upon this Gem of a pub after a stroll over the Tower Bridge from Bermondsey, and it was really quite a lovely experience. Don't let the name deter you, as this place is exactly what you need when visiting London. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food menu options were considerable and I would go back everyday to try everything if I could. The staff took food allergies very seriously (scanning a bar code), and went in depth about your order to make sure there were no medical emergencies. There was a decent selection of non-alcoholic beer and mocktails including zero alcohol Guinness. The slow-braised beef and ale pie for 2 was delicious, and not one bite was wasted. Bring your appetite and clear your schedule for the rest of the day. You won't be disappointed.

Nice decor. Small table despite booking for 6 people. No cutlery, no kids’ menus, drinks order not delivered, no cheese in the cheeseburgers, no soap in the bathroom. Burger was tasty. Great chips. The two waiting staff on a Saturday lunchtime were overwhelmed. We went on a recommendation. Disappointing.

Pub lovely, but no one in there, staff lovely. Food terrible, triple cooked chips awful and fish was so hot I burnt my mouth quite severely, the injury lasted more than 3 days. There was also some grit on my plate??? The coffee however was very nice but I definetly Wouldn't eat here again. I didn't complain at the time as the staff were so lovely and I didn't want then to feel bad.

We went to this pub to get out of the rain and rest from all the walking. The staff was very polite and helpful and they let us sit at the table for a while without ordering anything and use the restroom. When we felt like eating and drinking everything was excellent and we enjoyed our stay here.

A great traditional English pub experience. Decent range of beers. And the food was good. Little bit expensive, as you'd expect from being just round the corner from the Tower, but worth it.

September 2020 - Stopped by for supper, as the name of the pub caught our attention. Extremely happy we went in! Service was good & very prompt, given it was very busy. We all had fish and chips, and it was quite tasty. The fish portion was large and cooked well. Various items decorate the restaurant, which show the buildings history. Definitely pleased with our visit. Highly recommended.

This is a really nice pub. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The menu is good and the prices are reasonable. I had a really interesting Buttermilk breaded chicken on a waffle. It was a surprisingly nice combination of sweet and savoury. There is also a great selection of beers and ciders on tap. Throughly recommended

We booked a table online to dine for dinner in one of Tower Hill's popular pubs after checking its reviews. After arriving on time, it was evident the pub was already full and a table had not been reserved for us. We ordered their tasting board made up of 3 pies and 3 beers, and fish and chips. Our meals were both absolutely awful and ingredients used were not fresh. We left disappointed on our first night in London after eating at amazing places in Europe. Give this place a miss!!

Our visit to The Hung Draw Pub was an outstanding experience, creating lasting memories in a lively setting. The extensive selection of wines and beers added a delightful touch to the evening. The pie platter was a culinary highlight, with each savory bite offering a perfect blend of tastiness and elegance. The ambiance of the pub is nothing short of wonderful, exuding a welcoming charm that elevates the overall dining experience. The well-crafted bar complements the atmosphere, providing a focal point for socializing and enjoying the diverse drink offerings. As we immersed ourselves in the convivial atmosphere, the attentive service further enhanced our enjoyment. The staff's knowledge of the menu and recommendations added a personal touch to the evening, making us feel truly valued as patrons. From the first sip to the last bite, The Hung Draw Pub exceeded expectations. The combination of great drinks, a tasty pie platter, and a vibrant atmosphere made this visit a standout moment. Whether you're seeking a relaxed evening or a lively gathering, this pub stands as a testament to hospitality, offering a memorable experience that lingers long after the last cheers.

A Fullers pub within walking distance of Tower Hill taking it's name from the type of executions at the Tower of London. The interior looks quite grand as it used to be a bank. I had a London Pride which comes from their brewery and always goes down well.

A Fullers public house that has a photographic depiction of the people that suffered this barbaric way of execution, by todays standards. The way in which this was done, is the name of the Public House, with the Heads being displayed on London Bridge. This was the London Bridge that was purchased by an American and now is in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. A noose is set up behind the bar. Again Dog Friendly. A great atmosphere Really made to feel at home by the bar Staff who even went to the trouble of moving tables for us, as they had a large group of people booked. Opposite is BrewDog, but they are aimed at different markets. A traditional range of Largers, Ciders, Bitters, I.P.A.s are available as is a variety of food. This changes weekly. Very highly recommend, you can learn just why this punishment was handed out and to whoem, a search of the walls may be needed. If you have a radar key, disabled toilets are on the same level. Again very close to the Tower of London.

Busy London Fullers pub near Tower of London. Showing signs of wear and heavy use. Men's toilets had no means of hand drying as blower fuse removed and no hand towels. Taps wonky. Staff doing their best.

The food is definitely good but it's quite pricey. The steak, mash, and fries were great but not worth the money. You can get great food in London for much less. I recommend the Flat Iron if you want steak and mash for MUCH cheaper.

I had a lovely time here with my friends. It was in a good general location, and if you wanna try something that’s ‘English’, this is it. They also talk about the history of the building when you’re on your way to the restroom which is nice and I love to learn about that. I had a veggie dish so it wasn’t exactly a traditional shepherds pie but it’s as close as I’ll get!

This is a new bar/restaurant for me. Whilst walking around the London Bridge to the Bank area we came across it. It has a lovely exterior and in a great location for people doing the tourist thing. The building is old but I don't know how old, hopefully the bar will see this and add that. When I visited with friends it was the weekend and it was rather busy. We found it hard to get a table as many were booked but staff helped and eventually we had seats. The food menu is broad and reasonable for the area. Drinks are also available at a reasonable price. Good choice of beers. Would recommend but if eating please book.

A very accommodating place. We made a booking for a party of seven. The person on the phone took our details, but when we turned up, there was no record of us immediately available. However, a quick call found our details, after which we were given a table and free puddings to make up for the problems. Of course, the food was top notch, as well. I particularly enjoyed their fish and chips. This is a good place for tourists to get a feel for British pubs after visiting the Tower of London.

In front of this pub the traitors usually were executed by hung drawn in front the castle. Additional they quartered the body and exhibit it in the street. Nice lovely big pub, waking distance from tower london in case you want to have a real taste of a british pub. Cornish sider for £5,45 is my recommendation here. The barmaid today was not so friendly just fine the service, but the location deserve the visit.
