Decent pub right next to Euston train station. Only popped in for a couple of pints but atmosphere was good and staff were fantastic. They served a great pint of Guinness too. Haven't tried the food but it looked great and very reasonably priced

Lively London pub showing the men's final of Wimbledon 2023 when we arrived. We chose to take a free table outside where conversation between diners and tables was also lively. Being a Sunday night, they had sold out of steak and ale pie, so we opted for their excellent fish and chips. The wine list is quite good, including a lovely New Zealand sauvignon blanc and a surprising Australian Riesling. The sticky toffee pudding is to die for, and the brownie with clotted cream ice cream is excellent.

Slow service, we ordered chips an hour before our train departed however these didn't come for 45 minutes so we had to leave. We asked twice how long it would take and each time they said soon. Before we left we asked if we could have a refund however were told no, and instead that they could give us a small box of chips now to go...

Popular boozer close to Euston Station. Staff weren't the friendliest, but probably didn't have time to be, because it was a busy Friday night. They were also getting annoyed by some loud people on the fruit machine! Good sized bar and seating/standing areas. Great selection of beers. Plenty of screens for sport. A little bit on the pricey side for drinks and food but this was definitely not putting anyone off coming. All in all, well worth a visit.

I enjoyed a very good Westwood pale ale, but wasn't expecting the £7.20 price. Not as busy as the Wetherspoon's close by, but very nicely decorated.

This is a nice place to grab a drink if you’re waiting for the tube or in a rush to be somewhere. Chill vibes and definitely a great way to unwind before heading wherever you’re heading lol

Absolutely brilliant pub, lovely food and beer, recommend the fish and chips with a pint of ipa. Really friendly and helpful staff just outside Euston station. Reasonably priced food and beer for inner London. Grab a beer and sit outside watching the world go by.

A big classic railway station pub still connected to its blend of old London pub and rail travel watering hole. Good heritage features and well travelled look. Great selection on draught beers and ciders plus a strong Perry. Outside seating in the sun and perfect tables for one at the door and on perimeter.

First and last visit - ordered 2 lunch specials : sandwich/toasties, side and drink for £10.99 Asked to switch up one of the drinks and pay the difference - was told that wouldn't be a problem YET was charged full price for drink and second special was charged as individual items When questioned with staff - they then changed their answer to we can't do that. Very rude and abrupt about it. Food was ok but decor very dated and some furniture could do with being updated as well as chairs were very well worn and almost falling apart.

Really friendly, quality boozer. I feel we do it an injustice as we only go if we are waiting for a train - but there is a lot more to this pub! Well worth a visit. I'd say if you are in the vicinity, forget the tube - go here for an hour or two - then walk to wherever.....

Staff were really friendly and helpful, we had a crolac in our party, and someone came out and advised what was gluten-free on the menu, which could have been avoided if the menu was correctly labelled. The good was ok, typical pub food, and the drinks selection was mainly the popular standard drinks.

Great bar to meet a friend before you catch the train out of London for Euston Station. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors for small or large groups. Never wait too long ordering a drink and even catch the football on the TV if you're looking to watch some footy. Would recommend stopping in and checking it out. Even an iconic skateboard spot opposite.. see if you can see it.

Cool place with good drinks. The atmosphere is electric but you pay for it with the wait. If your party is trying for a table get there early.

The service is friendly although approximately half of the draft beers and ciders had ran out, by the time we visited in the evening. It is a shame the beer garden has to close at 9pm, although it is understandable if this is based on reducing noise for nearby neighbours. What is annoying, however, is the short member of security staff that enforces the 9pm closure time - he is aggressive and unfriendly.

Classic pub- wide beer, liquor selection + quick service at the bar - killer Sunday roast - fun snack appetizers - calamari / goujons / chips a go go / outdoor seating - fun scene

The white person at the bar (7pm 24 Nov) was very rude. I already apologised for forgetting to say ‘please’ when I ordered a pint but he still had to dig it in a couple more times. He relished telling to my face that ‘manners go a long way’ in front of everyone the 3rd time. I just had to apologise the 3rd time just to get it over with and to spare my companions further embarrassment. I just had a long day attending an academic conference at SOAS and momentarily forgetting the social nuances of British English was a forgivable mistake -especially if you were also immersed with non native English speakers the whole time during the conference. Anyhow this establishment just lost a good number of Asian customers (students and academics alike). We are never coming back.

Fast and efficient - once I had the app set up had a beer appear in under a minute as part of a larger order. Above standard mustard sauce with the sausage roll. Loud music inside, nice seating outside.

If your looking for a place to grab a drink or a meal before your Euston train departs you can’t go wrong with the Royal George. The traditional London pub food is amazing and they have a wide range of beverages to suit any taste. Great location, great food and friendly service with a traditional pub atmosphere - 10/10

The Royal George pub in London exceeded expectations in every aspect. The staff's exceptional service elevated the experience, paired with superb food and a fantastic selection of drinks. The standout was manager Sam, whose Scottish charm and great craic added an extra layer of enjoyment to the visit. Overall, a delightful spot with excellent service, delicious food, and a vibrant atmosphere.

Currently on half an hour and still no sign of my order. Edit: after 56 minutes, they came to tell me that Chef has told them they run out of the product I was waiting for. 56 minutes!!! You either need more chefs in that kitchen or get someone who can cook more than one meal at a time. I've been in a lot busier pubs and got my meals in an acceptable time, so something isn't right if a national chain pub can't do this. There's another national chain opening up next week on the next block, watch how many people walk. You won't be able to blame 'being busy' for the poor service.

I absolutely love this pub! I'm here as often as I can. Brilliant pint as always! Friendly staff always. I've got to mention Dominika! Always Friendly and welcoming. Reading some of the reviews they are pathetic! No faults at this pub! Oh almost forgot, Dean is a funny character we always have a good chat, see you guys soon! Best pub in London!

Great food and live sport on plenty of screens, enabling you to watch the action no matter where you are sat. A good place to go if you have time to kill ahead of catching a train 🍻

Me and my friends were looking to have breakfast at the pub. We thought the pub was opening at 10am on a Sunday, so tried to enter though but the doors were locked. We then noticed the manager inside that then opened the door and said we are not open. When we asked when do you open, he replied back rudely I will open when I open. We then just left and when somewhere else that gave us much better service. We felt racially tagged as we were three black women. From reading the reviews, I noticed loads of people have felt the same. Experiencing racism. I wouldn't recommend going to this pub.

Regularly visit this place when waiting for a train from Euston. Decent selection of beers, friendly atmosphere, lots of screen sports ( if that's your thing) and efficient staff. Feels like a proper pub, rather than a popup bar cashing in on station trade. Good mix of after-work drinkers, tourists and travellers.

I really like the Royal George. I like it's character, real ale, food..it's London so you expect it not to be Liverpool prices but it's ideal while waiting for your train. Been drinking in here for 25 years..nice staff..it's always nice to say Hello to staff and customers, had some nice chats over the years 🙂

If you are on a long layover waiting for a train then this is a good alternative to the myriad of chain restaurants and coffee shops outside the concourse at Euston. It would suit anyone who likes reality over sanitised experiences. Breakfast is served until quite late as well for those of you that missed it when the hotel kicked you out at 11am 😅. Crowd is mixed from all walks of life, which adds to the vibe.

The day I visited has been a mystery, train strike stopped me from traveling, so had to find a cozy place and this was it. Also to note Tottenham Vs Arsenal was playing so the pub split up by fan base. Host of the house, best I have seen between visiting Greene King franchises. They have a great choice of drinks. Recommend guest beers as a must. Also compared to other Greene places, chicken wings come as in choice of how much you would like, half or 1 kg. I got half as I had my beers already after a hard day. Firstly, kudos to the chef, wings are 2 parted not just one parted, perfectly cooked and BBQ sauce was enough to have almost over-bearing flavour. For a pub snack fills you up right. Got some fries on the side which basically finished my stomach space. Please, visit and have a chat with the amazing Scottish host ( thought he was Italian 🤣), he will make sure you have a good time.

Good selection of beers. Great TV locations - was brilliant watching the FIFA World Cup here. Not sure why the bar has low ratings on Google

Worst cold grilled cheese sandwich in London! We waited over an hour for toasted sandwiches, both came out lukewarm and one of them was the wrong order. Definitely a pub to avoid! —- Addit: In response to your kind reply, I do note finding chefs may be difficult however that does not excuse serving people who ordered after us before us. I admit you did supply two free pints after we had waited an hour but this does not excuse the food coming out cold and in one case incorrect. After waiting an hour and 10 minutes, would you expect us to ask for a change?!? Nor did you come over to ask if everything was ok after we had waited so long.

Popped in to have a quick lunch and wait out the rain. Great ambiance. Host is super friendly. If you happen to be around Euston station I strongly suggest having the steak and ale pie, superb. This pub was a lucky find.
