Was good for a quick bite. Unfortunately, i left disappointed. Service was ok. It just took really long. The burger tasted great.

Absolutely fabulous... Fancied a lovely meal before a matinee theatre performance... and we certainly got that here. Spacious and bright inside.. Attentive, polite and friendly staff. Great service and Great food. Unfortunately, a number of the main meals contained onion, inc. BBQ Chicken, Steak & Ale Pie and even the meat within the Cheese & Bacon Burger... However the staff were ever so accommodating; and amended my meal for me. (Thank you.) We ordered the Katsu Chicken Burger and 'Buttermilk Chicken replacement' in the Cheese & Bacon Burger.. Both meals for great.. the chips amazing. Totally recommend this place and we will certainly return when in the area.

Worst ever fish’n chips in my life in the UK. Look at the color and dark particles. I could feel that the fish itself was from freezer. The other guest who ordered it received better looking one. The cook shouldn’t have served this to me. It should have been thrown away. Visited on Sunday 23 Oct 2022.

Appalling service! Used the app to order drinks and food as this is what everyone prefers since Covid isn't it? But apparently that was wrong and I got 'told off'. If they don't want you to use the app why were we able to? Also, we sat there for ages deciding what we wanted and no-one came over to serve us! Basically we ordered drinks first in the upstairs bar and a member of staff said that they didn't have the drinks we wanted upstairs, only downstairs and could we order something else. Basically couldn't be bothered to go downstairs! He then said that he would go and get the gin 'if we wanted?' well of course we want you to because that's what we ordered, and whilst you are getting the gin can you just get beer we ordered as well?! Which he reluctantly did! Then another member of staff came over and asked us not to order on the app anymore! This resulted in me having to go downstairs to get the drinks of my choice only to find that when I got back upstairs my food had been placed on the table and was getting cold, all because the 'waiting staff' couldn't be bothered to 'wait on a customer' Also, my burger was missing the gherkins that it should have had in it and didn't look anything like it did on the menu! Oh, and halfway through the meal the background music was switched off and the football was put in the TV. Not a problem as such, except the TV was so loud I actually thought I was at Wembley stadium! Horrendous experience!

Great pub in Covent Garden. Has improved so much since my last visit here when it felt a little lost. Under new management and you can see the difference. Friendly team and good atmosphere. Have some great entertainment too.

Popped in for a drink before a show. Great atmosphere and really busy. Didn't see a list of drinks prices but ordered a ginger beer (non alcoholic) and large glass of red. Cost us £16 !!! Just take care what you order, drinks wise.

The staff were attentive and friendly, creating a nice atmosphere. A reasonable range of drinks and a nice place to watch the football on two screens There were quite a few items unavailable on the menu. Their bbq chicken was small, the pastry on the pie was quite thick and they forgot the gravy.

Stopped here for a mid-afternoon bite to eat while my wife was shopping. Very pleasant pub with friendly and helpful staff. Spoiled myself with a chip buttie which I haven’t had for years and it was delicious washed down with a hot cup of tea. Taking my wife next time!

I went in with a friend, my first time in this pub. The atmosphere was very cozy and the Christmas lights made it even better! The staff was so nice and friendly! The food was amazing, we ordered nachos and chicken wings with spicy sauce... We didn't expect a portion this big for either of them! The wings were really good, not as spicy as I expected but still really juicy! We ordered two cheese and bacon burgers as well (just didn't take a picture because....hungry) and it was maybe a bit on the dry side, but really tasty nonetheless. The house fries with salt flakes and rosemary were amazing and the onion rings were light and crispy! Overall 10/10! Ah, the mulled wine is a must! An absolute must. I did burn my tongue on the first sip lol but the blend of spices was well balanced and it went down like water after I let it cool down a bit. (Big shout out to Jess who kept my friend's book after he forgot it on the sofa. We came back to look for it after a few minutes and she recognised us the moment we went through the door and brought us the bag! Thank you so much, you're a star!!)

Been here twice in a row now for food. Excellent grub. Had the Fish & Chips, then the Steak & Ale pie (not in one go!). Good service and a fair selection of real ales and cocktails.

Booked a table and would advise others to as it does get busy even at 5pm. The staff are lovely, helpful and cheerful. The decor is great for a pub and creates ambience. There are big screens for sports lovers. I saw some good plates of food and wished I'd chosen differently! The scampi and chips seemed very " portion controlled" with the chips in particular looking like they'd been carefully counted onto the plate + not particularly hot either. There are probably better places to eat in in that area. Had a very average tasting IPA

Went for a few drinks after work with some work friends! Had Vodka Soda and was reasonably priced! Love the lights at the bar and the whole vibe it gives ☺️ A great place to have a drink or two with some mates 🙌🏻

Very quiet downstsirs and didn't have 2 of 3 cocktails I chose. Bar maid very knowledgeable about the different drinks. Not really the place for someone with ADHD as I'm very giggly and kept getting looks from other customers 😬 They did however seem to have a theatre above it where they did evening performances a d this looked like it'd be great fun.

Went to see an adult panto in this pub, it was fantastic. One of the funniest, fun nights I have had. Atmosphere was electric as everyone was having such a good time. The actual pub was nice, staff were very busy but pleasant, good drink choice, didn't eat so can't comment on food. Prices reasonable for area. Toilets could do with an update and being checked alittle more often .

It was an adult panto with cute interpretation of Jack and the beanstalk. Very chamber atmosphere. Little crowd. Chair arrangement could be done a bit different so I would be in between people who are in from of me, not just behind them with their heads in view. And for any event like this you can’t assign fresh team members on bar - it’s a huge stress for them, crow on the bar, delays with the start of the show.

Very nice pub with a great atmosphere, good food and good selection of drinks. Convenient for pre/post drinks for the theatre, the grand lodge of England and functions at the connaught rooms. The upstairs has been made available for watching sports events in the past. Outside tables are available for nice weather and smoking. The staff are always friendly and very quick to serve and clear empties from the tables.

Food was tasty and quick! The place is very clean and has good music. They only need to have more variety of beers and to give more than one napkin per person.

Steak and ale pie was good. Atmosphere was fun, and the service was great.

Nice pub but portions were a joke. “Sweet potato wedges with smashed avocado” came with 2.5 wedges for £6.50 Do not order the food unless you want to be disappointed. We will not be coming back There was also no tap water available. Staff offered us the option to buy a £4 bottle of water. We left

Rude and unprofessional bartender. I asked to try a sip of Sauvignon Blanc white wine before buying and the bartender said “ Nope you have to buy it “!

Aw we had such a lovely time here watching the rugby. All the staff were super helpful, (even going above and beyond, ensuring we didn't go hungry and meeting my particular dietary requirements very timely with delicious food!) we felt like VIPs with very kind, professional, friendly and attentive staff, and they remained so throughout even when it became busy with fans. (who were a good crowd) We were made to feel very welcome indeed and so comfortable with the brilliant friendly service along with the bonus of consistent table cleanliness upkeep, wiping down and clearing of glasses and with big smiles all round. It was everything we could've wished for and more for a lovely Saturday afternoon. Thank you all so very much! I highly recommend!

Brilliant atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon of live football. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to hold a conversation with you. The staff are very knowledgeable of the menu and can make amazing drinks recommendations. Unfortunately, due to sickness the team were short staffed and the kitchen had to close early. Special thank you to Darshana for being so understanding and helpful, allowing us to have our evening munch in the pub and for maintaining the pub-like atmosphere when dealing with the majority of front of house in her own

Shocking customer service. Sat enjoying drinks and food when a rude member of staff tried to insist we move from our comfortable table we had been in for an hour to a tiny little table. She said there was a table of office staff squashed round a table and they deserved the seats more than us, despite them not making a booking or anything. Never ever been told I have to move seat in a pub, extremely rude and ended up leaving rather than enjoying another drink or pudding. Shocking service

This pub was advertised as a sports bar so chose this one to watch the football match. The bar staff decided they wanted to close 45 minutes early and turned the TVs off and asked everyone to leave. One lad on the bar was asking ‘why are we closing early’. I said we had 5 minutes til the end of the game, You’re supposed to be open til 11 and it’s 10.20 and they still carried on. Will never be back

Sunday lunchtine waited approx 30 minutes for the pub to open. There were about 15 people waiting by the time we got in . There were five of us. We were debating leaving. Anyway gave our order to a rather disinterested person. A lot of the menu was off. Still, we ordered. The service was quite quick and the food nice. Won't be going back though

Quick service and good food. Can't complain, my burger was a (messy) beast and my friend enjoyed her mac and cheese. We'd certainly go back and give it another go.

Fantastic unassuming find. Was walking through Covent Gardens and was feeling peckish as I had missed lunch. Stepped into a really lovely size bar with a laid back atmosphere. Great range of drinks. Had fish and chips, decent size portion of fish with all the trimmings... Tasted wonderful! Knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming staff. Will return soon!

Good food @ a good price for central London. Toilets could have been cleaner, but staff rectified this when notified of the issue. Great stop off, for after a matinee show

No very good if I'm honest. Standards towards Customers have slipped somewhat. I went in positive and happy. Came out mildly UnAmused. .... was served the wrong food (because I wasn't listened to properly whilst I ordered). Management and staff seemed Vaguely interested, to be at work. Also being critical, which I'm usually not, without a slight return on some positive aspects... I'll say this, I actually felt like I was being shunned for my custom. Very rude. Hopefully someone rectifies issues here really soon. Needs to be done ASAP (I was in on a Friday at lunchtime, for Lunch... it was nearly empty. I wonder why?) Food was very nice though. Place was quite Clean. ...Enjoyed that at least, less the rational tension & obvious lack of attention to customer care. I was not impressed. Which is a rare thing for me. Not to find much to be positive about. To comment/write on. Please take good care of this Serious issue.

Great pub, fantastic location! I was pleasantly surprised by the great quality of the food and drinks. The team on duty were welcoming and hospitable. Kassandra on the bar in particular made us feel most welcome and was a pleasure to meet!

We've been there on a Saturday late afternoon, with 3 of my friends. We had our table booked at 6pm. When we arrived it was busy, and filled with very good atmosphere. As we arrived, i approached to the bar, to let them know, we arrived, and Jess assisted us to our table were we made our seat. Few moments later she arrived with the menus. We were choosing to go to the bar to order, call us old fashioned, we like human contact. We ordered drinks, and food as well. While we were at the table with our drinks, Jess arrived back with the cutlery for everyone. The food was delicious, fresh and hot. I personally ate a loaded burger which was very appetising and very much filling overall. After the food we had few more drinks and had to leave for our show in a theatre nearby. I would highly recommend to everyone for a pop in before their other programme begins. The staff were extremely friendly and professional! Thank you folks!

Nice enough pub. The food wasn't great except for the fish and chips which my son thoroughly enjoyed. The steak pie was so heavy that I wasn't sure whether to eat it or send it to the Ukrainian army to use as an artillery shell.

Lovely Greene King pub with really friendly staff good choice of beer and it was nice because it wasn't that busy at the time so I actually got a seat!!! Prices were as to be expected as it is very close to covent garden (£6.50 for a pint of Camden IPA) but it is definitely my kind of place with that traditional look.

Nice pub with good food. Ideal place to rest your weary feet. The fishcakes were excellent and the grandson enjoyed his dish and chips. Recommended
